Whenever I'm at The Shops at Clearfork, I have to stop in here! They always have something I just can't leave without (LOL). I love finding unique items that you can't get anywhere else, and they always come through -- I end up leaving with stocking stuffers, home décor, and fun gifts for family and friends. They aren't over the top in pricing either. The staff is always so nice and helpful, and I found out on my last visit that they actually have another store on Camp Bowie with a more modern vibe. Every time I pass by the storefront I see something in the window and think I must have it right then.. Keep your eyes forward and your head down! Once you go inside, you'll be lost in browsing knickknacks and wall plaques and stacks and stacks of books, boxes, and antique trinkets. There's a small amount of interesting furniture, tons of decorative items from candles to coasters to vintage figurines, a lot of those popular wooden blocks with sentimental or sassy sayings painted on them, cat and dog related stuff, stationary and greeting cards, a small selection of seasonal decor, and some antique items. It's really a great cozy space to wander around, and it smells lovely too. My mom and I met Doug, an owner, and he was so kind and welcoming. I'm so happy Wrare re-opened here! This is the kind of boutique spot I save for special occasions, like gift shopping or treating myself. It's overall a little too pricey for me. My mom had her eye on some rad twinkle-light little trees, and there were a few candles, a heavy mug with cats on it, and some salsas I was eyeballing! Yep, locally made salsa. I'll be back in November for holiday inspiration and some goodies for my home. read more

We stumbled upon Wrare while walking around the cool, new district near the Kimbell Art Museum and I'm so glad we did! Besides it's awesome location, Wrare has a ton of neat stuff to offer and the staff was very friendly. They have nearly an infinite amount of home-decor items that are...you guessed it...(w)rare! Lots of unique items that I haven't seen anywhere else and it's easy to picture nearly all of it my home! Most of their items have the rustic/industrial/vintage feel that is so popular right now. I had to exercise a lot of restraint not to go overboard, because that easily could have happened. Probably a little pricier than most home-decor places, but you are getting something quality if you purchase it from Wrare! read more

I fell in love with this place when they first opened off the 7th Street area. Even though I don't live in the FTW area anymore it's still one of my favorite stores. I was so happy when we visited it while in FTW the other evening. Found so many wonderful things for the house. read more

This store is so cool! Great for finding unique gifts and random things to put in your house. I bought a couple of small pottery pieces and a beautiful candle holder shaped like a rose. They also have cool calendars, scents, lamps -- I could go on forever. It is exactly the place you want to check out to avoid making your new digs look like a Pottery Barn living room. Plus, the owner is really nice -- he even told me where to find the exact kind of couch I was looking for! Some things are pricey, but there are a lot of interesting pieces that won't empty your wallet. read more

This store reminds me of Uncommon Objects- except clean and minus the creepy doll parts and used feeling. The store used to be over on 7th street but moved here to Camp Bowie so it's easier to access and parking is a breeze. I really love the funky lamps, furniture and posters they have. Awesome shop that totally meets my design aesthetic. It's a nice mix of gift/stationary items and unique housewares. There's something for every price point from great candles and tableware for a few dollars up to artwork/furniture in the several hundred dollar range. I particularly dig a couple of the unique card lines that the store carries along with one great tableware company. I also loved some of the unique wall art, some of which is photography from the owner himself. Many of the pieces are very Fort Worth-centric and took me back to my childhood. As the owner of an old home, I spotted many pieces that would enhance the architectural quirks of my bungalow. I anticipate many future visits to Wrare to put the polishing touches on my decor or pick up special gifts from friends & family. read more

Great place with really unique items. Hard to believe its in ft worth if all places. Way better than anything I've found in the entire Dfw area. Definitely on scale with some great shops in Portland and Austin we have visited. We're stoked to find it being we will be building a new home soon. I revel in the eccentric and eclectic. This store was made for all of that. It perfectly mixes the new with the old and odd with the just right. Year round they have everything for the home. EVERYTHING. Then there are fantastic seasonal/holiday decorations. (My favorite are Halloween!) The ownership and staff take wonderful care of the patrons as well. An all around great store and addition to the West 7th aesthetic. read more

Love this place! I have several items in my home from Wrare and I love all of them. I would compare the store to a more unique anthropology. Some of the items are expensive like the furniture but they also have very reasonable decorative pieces for someone who is on a budget. Also I love love love their wall of unique greeting cards with witty sayings on the inside. My friend and I spent a good 15 minutes reading all of them and laughing. read more

Gosh where do I start?! First of all I live in CA and used to live in Dallas and this is one of my favorite stores EVER. Lovely vintage style; this place is truly a gem. Fun, funky hipster style with beautiful, unique furniture and typewriters and gidgets and gadgets. I just love the style and the charm and wish I could afford more. It seems that unless you are part of their "circle" you won't get any help here.....The 2 men that were working the day I was in greeted another customer that arrived 10 minutes after I did with vigor and all "hands on deck" ...whilst I never got as much as an "what do you want"......still another man entered and got actual HUGS! Maybe I forgot my mouthwash that day.....or maybe, just maybe I didn't meet their "coolness" standards! All in all, I will shop elsewhere! read more

normally, I'd give the place 5 stars, but today's visit underwhelmed me. the usual linen pillows have been replaced by stiffer ones at twice the price. the one small one I was going to buy smelled musty. animal transfer prints were rubbery & spot clean only, so they couldn't be softened in the wash safely. the other lower priced bulk pillows used stock images from the graphics fairy (and not very well). we bought a few metal exit signs but that was it. what we loved was WaY out of our price range (although I may be back for 2 large pieces) or not as well made as we've come to expect from this fantastic little nugget. bummed. by the way...my tip is below under j e. this is actually our 3rd trip here in as many months. read more

Very cool candle and gift shop but the furniture offerings are slim. Quite expensive, and seems very dark in the back area where the furniture is. I can see them getting all these nice reviews for their candles, but where in Ft Worth can I find furniture? This listing should not be considered a furniture store...please yelp...post this store with the gift shops/candle shops. Would save a lot of disappointment. read more

A one of a kind home decor store with retro and modern industrial finds. This place feels like a boutique from Fall Out. I purchased a retro poster and a really neat valentines card that I know my husband will love. I'll be coming back for decor and gifts in the future..I would highly recommend coming here for interesting home decor. There's none like it in Fort Worth! read more
