We came looking for sectionals and ended up getting more furniture than we planned. The lady that helped us was so patient and helpful. She did us really well and got us good discount. The selection is large for the sofas and bedding. We did look for some entertainment center like shelves, tho they didn't have any at this store. Prices are a bit steeper in store than they are for the same brand of off brand stores like NFM, but the styles are also different. They have a protection plan that can be purchased for the furniture, supposedly if it's not used you get a credit at the end of the 5 years that can be used in store. We will see how that goes. We have had a difficult time getting anyone at Ashley to care that our furniture arrived damaged and stained. They were happy to take our $15,000, but delivered crap and can't get anyone to repair. We purchased a electric reclining sofa from Ashley's. The sofa and delivery were great. However, the electric recliner broke and we needed service. Ashley's sent a Technician who was able to get recliner out of the reclined position. He said he needed to order a part. OK, that is fine. However, here we are 24 days later, and we are still waiting. Ashley's just says we are reviewing your ticker and will get to you. Nobody calls back. I went to this store and talked with a manager, he basically gave a different number to call, which was really just interacting with a computer. Anyway, still waiting for service after 24 days, and this is covered by warranty. Sofa is still broke. I DO NOT recommend Ashley's. read more

Beware of their delivery service and staff. They are not professional and will damage your home. I had two couches delivered--not only was the delivery late and outside the quoted window, but my home was left bruised and battered. The supposedly "professional" delivery crew I was promised in-store turned out to be anything but. Apparently, they can't navigate stairs without scraping walls, damaging ceilings, and snapping stair spindles. Worse, they only informed me after the damage was done--then made me sign a "we'll fix it" disclosure before continuing the delivery. After fending off sales people a couple of times, we made a decision on one and asked a few questions about delivery and pet protection when he then decides to pull in the manager Megan Wright for help pitching which felt sharky and very pressured, so we decided against both since they were weird about it then he called her over AGAIN to try and pressure us even more. We still said no, and they still showed another quote with both items on there. What a terrible business practice. As a sales manager, I would be ashamed if my team acted like that. After taking them off, we finally get to the register and run our card on the terminal it says approved, thanks for your payment. Then the sales person goes to have us sign something on a tablet, and the tablet dies... they converged and conversate in the back room, then came back and said the charge never went through.After checking our account, the charge 100% went through. Even after showing her, she claims the charge never went through and refuses to do anything to try and help other than suggest we swipe our card again. Wow. Here we are 3 days later, and the charge is still there, and now i have to dispute with my bank. Wish I would have read the reviews before coming Into this store, it would have saved us two plus hours. We are in a transition of moving from Hawaii to Idaho (husband is military). I am from Texas and visiting family. I came in and wanted to see if it was possible to buy furniture from frisco Ashley to be delivered to Idaho. Beau was our sales rep and he was really friendly and helpful. He explained to me that Ashley's is a franchise and they don't typically do that but he'd talk to his manager and work something out. His manager said they'd make it work. Mind you I never indicated how much I was looking to spend or how much I was buying before that. We narrowed down that we wanted two kids beds, a mattress, a dresser, two couches, an ottoman, a king size bed set, dresser, mirror, and two night stands. My husband and I were calculating maybe 6k out the door. So I was shocked when it was 10k. Our sales guy said the manager would be willing to throw in a mattress of up to 4K for "free" or he could work some discounts. 10k felt like a lot and we didn't need the mattress so I opted the discount route. He was able to get us to 7900k. Still felt quite high but I was like okay... so he goes and talks to the manager. Then comes back and says the manager is unwilling to do the deal. He was willing to ship the stuff to Idaho if we spent 10k but if we're "only" spending 8k he won't work with us and ship it. What the what? Wait so you don't want my 8k?! Okay. I just left, felt good that I at least knew what I wanted to buy once I made it to Idaho and could go to the store there. So you can imagine how surprised I was when I bought the same items online/via phone with the Idaho store and it only cost me a total of $5200! Including delivery, assembly, and taxes. Found the living room furniture we wanted online, modmax couch and loveseat, measured our living room using the measurements provided online and everything was going to line up perfectly. Went to the store to make sure that the couches were comfortable and liked them so decided to order from in the store. Couches get delivered and don't fit in our space, we remeasure them only to find that the dimensions provided online are different than the actual dimensions. Both the couch and love seat were larger in width and depth. I called customer service and they informed me they would do absolutely nothing for this. "All sales are final" is all they kept saying. I understand that concept but when your website is that far off you really should take care of your customers. I will NEVER buy from Ashley again and I advise anyone else to consider another store. $3000 worth of living room furniture and my wife and I hate it. UPDATE: have had these couches for 3 weeks and the cushions are already starting to go flat. The rubber feet don't hold them in place so they are constantly sliding apart. Be warned that they will tell you anything to make the sale, once the sale has been completed they couldn't give two shits about you. My sales person said this came with "White Glove Service" but when the delivery guys came they told me they don't move the old furniture (lie #1) My sales guy also said "if you get the delivery and you determine you don't want a piece, refuse it and we'll credit you back (lie #2) After drop off I noticed damage to one of the feet, I reached out to customer (no) service and opened a ticket, sent a picture and... opened a second ticket. Terrible issues with delivery of furniture. I ordered a breakfast table with 4 chairs from the Frisco store. Ashley only delivered the table with 3 chairs. Their customer service center and the distribution center don't talk to each other and there is utter confusion. Now the distribution center has been sending 1 chair to my home for past two weeks and will only give me that 1 chair if I give them 1 chair back. Doing that will still leave me with 3 chairs. Listen to these reviews. We had a great experience until we felt lied to and lost all confidence in Ashley to deliver a quality product. Less than 48 hours after an order was placed we were still charged cancellation fees which weren't explained to us until after we'd paid, of course. We cancelled the order on 11/8 and now as of 11/21 and being told to wait 7-10 business days for our refund, we find out the request to process said refund was never submitted by Elliot the illustrious store manager. Hopefully when you have the pleasure of speaking with him he doesn't laugh, condescend or interrupt you and speak over you. After multiple calls to the store, no returned phone calls from Elliot and having to threaten to come up to the store and cause a scene for him to speak with me, I spoke with a lovely lady at customer service who finally put in the request to process said refund and now we will get to wait another 7-10 business days. At this point, Ashley has $2400 of our money (only getting back $2100) and no active orders to be delivered - we feel stolen from. Elliot's customer service needs some work. Honestly, I am not sure how that asshole still has a job. In all of my years of working in high end luxury customer service, I would NEVER have the audacity to speak to a customer in the way he spoke to both myself and my husband. I do hope corporate can get involved and help us get the entirety of our money back - nothing was ordered, product never moved in the warehouse, nothing. And we are being penalized. We ordered a sofa because it was one the sales rep said would be in sooner... it's been over a month and don't even have a future date on it and haven't received any updates from anyone at Ashley. We ordered a bedroom set... the rep added three nightstands when we only wanted 2.. saw it on the receipt and had to go back to get a refund. We found out later that the sales rep didn't add the headboard to our bedroom set. So had to get that added on. Again, no communication on anything. I just called and got hung up on. I ordered two table lamps. I had asked if I could take the lamps on display home however Jordan, the sales lady, said they have to be delivered to my home. We were really hoping for some lamps quickly but I agreed to wait a couple of weeks. I had asked when they'd arrive and she said around January 14th. January 14th came and went... I called January 19th to customer service and the rep said she couldn't find the order. I provide the order number and after looking it up, she said she'd have someone from the store call me within a few hours. No one calls. Next day I call back. Another customer service rep said the order had been cancelled the previous Saturday. Then she said there was a notation I had taken the lamps from the store the day I had purchased them - I certainly did not!! She says they will refund me the money - but frankly, I am quite doubtful so I make a mental note to dispute the charges on my credit card. She said someone will call me from the store... I've hear that before :( She gives me ticket number 273668. Eh, think I'll go ahead and dispute the charges and, no, nobody had called me from the store. Wow. Just wow. These guys have no idea on how to run a business. Usually big chains like this have pretty solid systems. But.. wow. On a final note, seems other reviewers have had the same issue with terrible customer service after purchasing items. UPDATE: We still have not been able to get anyone from Ashley Furniture to address the fact that I have paid more than $18k to them ... and I have a bedroom set in my master bedroom that is NOT put together. I keep being told that the items needed to put the bed together are on back order. Each time I call, the date keeps getting extended. I recently had foot surgery and I literally have to climb over bed rails that are not connected to anything. The headboard is literally just laying against the wall. I read through so many of the other reviews of this company ... and I can not believe that Ashley is still in business. I asked today if I could return the bed and was told that I could not. Worst experience I have ever had at any business! Purchased $5000 worth of living room furniture, a tv stand, a sectional and a (matching) ottoman. We saw everything in store except for the ottoman which was not on the showroom. We told the salesman (Shad) that we wanted to order that without seeing it because he told us it was a MATCHING ottoman. Let's just say it is not. My couch is grey and the ottoman is green. Not only that but it is cover in glue marks from where it had tape all over it. It is actual trash and it cost $370. After numerous calls and emails I'm told now I have to make a warranty claim to correct it. So I did that and was then told that it was sold As-is so they will not repair, replace or clean it. Nowhere on it does it say as-is or on any of my paperwork. If I can I just want to save anyone else from going through this nightmare I have experienced. Please, please go elsewhere!! I had a TERRIBLE experience after purchasing a bed from Ashley. The sales associate told me I had 30 days if I needed to make any changes on the furniture, and that was his selling point b/c I wasn't sure if the bed would fit right in my room in the first place. Turns out, that was a lie. Also, I called customer service, as sales associates told me they had no authority to help me in store, and I was told over the phone that it wouldn't be a problem to exchange my bed (with drawer) for the same bed (no drawer). He told me they'd call me tomorrow for scheduling. No one called me. I called back and was told my request to exchange was denied. I told them how I was sold on the 30 day window and how the scheduling call was all a lie. I was told a more senior manager would call me that day or the next, never heard from anyone. Ashley local store has independent return policy, and this store declares all sales are final and they do not allow any return. So, one star at most is fair for them. I know we're all dealing with a national pandemic right now, but getting this company to be truthful is ridiculous! Bought furniture in August and was told we should receive it no later than the end of November. When November came our delivery date got bumped to Jan, then February and so on...then finally in April we received our order. Thank God we had our previous bed set otherwise we would have been sleeping on the floor for 8 months waiting on our order. We also bought a club chair that I was told my husband could go and pick up from the warehouse. He drove 40 miles to pick up the chair only to be rudely told that he couldn't pick it up because his name wasn't on the order and that I would have to go Bk to the store and have the sales guy add him to the order? They will not notify you if your furniture was delayed or if you are even getting the items you ordered. I haven't gotten my furniture yet and it's almost the beginning of November. I have taken four PTO days in order to accommodate the delivery. Guess what? They never showed EACH TIME and never gave me a call or anything to explain they would not show up. To put this in perspective, I had enough time to put my house on the market. Pay for staging to accommodate the lack of furniture. Sell my house. Now I'm still waiting for my furniture and they can't give me a date to when it's actually going to be delivered in the first place. This is not a supply issue where it's floating on the boat out in the ocean. They have my stuff in a warehouse and are just not delivering it. Went into Frisco, Tex location to purchase bedroom furniture. Sales people were great. This was first part of April 2021. Was told items were not in warehouse it would ship from Korea and take 5-6 weeks. Okay, no problem. At 8 weeks after hearing nothing from them, I call the customer service Dept asking questions. Bed end board and mattress were being held up, I should have it all by mid July. Was given a $250 refund as a apology for poor customer service and not being informed. Received bedroom furniture today (7/2), minus the mattress, even though delivery receipt says deliver both fulfillment's together. Not sure how many of you are familiar with excel, but if this store were an excel formula it would be a broken circular reference. I purchased a couch IN STORE, two months ago. I still have yet to hear about the status of my order. Any time I call "Customer Service" I select 1 or 2, it tells me that my selection was invalid. What the hell is even that? I have never been so frustrated with a process in all my days. My boyfriend and i had the best experience coming in (because of a rep named Sam). Sam said rep Bob (he's an older Indian guy) could help us figure out when we could get my bed frame. However rep Bob left us very distraught. We were in a heated argument for an hour and didn't appreciate his racist and ignorant comments. We tried to educate him about racism, redlining, the civil rights, etc. but it left me walking out of the store in tears. The employees knew something was wrong but didn't know exactly what. His comments were exactly "African American people have been here for 200 years and have nothing to show while Vietnamese people have been here for 30 years and show their hard work." I am a Vietnamese and my boyfriend is African American and we were stunned by his comments. To say the least, this had to have been one of the most traumatic and racist events I have ever been a part of in my 23 years. I tried to empathize with the man because he talked about his kids but when i got home, it didn't sit right with me. He kept saying we didn't have freedom of speech, black people are lazy and Indians would take jobs blacks didn't want, we have private schools so that blacks couldn't go to them. I've left many voicemails at this establishment and they've done nothing. With everything going on, people are SO bold nowadays with their comments. I will never come back here unless it's for an apology. I will be contacting corporate about this. I will be spreading the word around and using my voice. I will not stand for this kind of behavior. The sales associate tried to pressure my husband and I, several times, even after we declined, into buying from their store and not online, when we came in and said we were looking at a bedroom set we found online. I trusted my gut and refused to be pressured into buying it from them, even though they had it in stock and was the set we wanted. GLAD WE DID! I bought a bed that is peeling and they have been telling me since July that they were going to to fix it, but they keep making excuses It is now September 2020 and they still have not fixed it. We bought the extended warranty and they claim they don't know anything about the warranty. They won't answer the phone or return your messages. I had go there in person to demand something be done, the customer service person, lady Susan said they do not have the staff to answer the phone and gave me her email and also gave me her word she would look into helping me. She has not emailed me back or sent me a reply or called me back. I told her I just want my money back because I don't want a bed that will keep tearing. Had a bad experience with sales in the store. There were 4 or 5 salespeople, but only 1 guy (Chris?) seemed to be the only person who had the approval to do all the work. He was nonstop talking about himself up and his background. He takes multiple phone calls in the middle of assisting us. On one phone call, he tells us that it's his wife calling so he has to pick up but I overhear him talking inventory??? He would also share details from his other customers that I really couldn't care about. Other than picking up phone calls, and had to step away (to help other clients) I approached another salesperson for help because it's been 2 hours and I made my decision now. I want to pay and go home. But they all go to Chris and ask him if they could do the transaction a certain way. Chris instead tells them he will take care of it. Mind you, we were not originally Chris' customers. But somehow the other sales associates keep referring back to him. What I expected to be a 1-2 hour experience ended up being about 4 hours!! For one piece of furniture! (We took about 1 hour to decide on one) We waited because we opened up a credit line within 15min of going into the store and intended to use our line of credit that day. We didn't know we would end up staying 4 hours. One thing that bothered me was that, he knew I was the one paying, yet he kept talking to my partner instead! Also, didn't appreciate the tough push on purchasing add-ons. When I refused on the warranty, cuz I just clearly don't see the point of purchasing one (I dont care what it covers and I dont have to justify why). His reaction was blatant shock like 'no? just no? you dont even want to know what it covers?' By that time, I had enough and done being nice. Fair question but I'm interpreting his reaction like I'm annoying because he has to 'work for it' now. The look on his face was pure annoyance and shock. Didn't even bother hiding it (it was almost 4 hours, getting closer to closing time). My experience with delivery actually went fine. When I had to reach customer service, I called the phone number on our receipt and when they picked up, they said this is Ashleys Furniture Canada and they couldn't assist us and don't know why our phone call went to them instead. Do not spend your money here!! They will lie to you telling furniture is available. Then tell you oh no we mean it's at our warehouse and then no it's not available now. We had a power reclining chair that was delivered 7 weeks ago. The first time we used the chair, in stayed in down position. We have been told that a replacement will be here 3 different dates and still no chair. Being told now it's going to be another 2 weeks for it to be here. I am paying for a chair that does not work. We had several pieces that were delivered that were damaged and still have no replacement. They have horrible customer service too! I will never buy anything from them again!! read more

After few months of finally getting our furniture, we realized few days ago the chest was broken from inside. My wife noticed it was very complicated to get the drawers out but yesterday I found out it's bc the inside was broken. We haven't moved the furniture since they delivery service set it up in the room. Expensive furniture, delays in delivery... Horrible experience.
