I'm still trying to figure out if I was had. The owner, Chris, never stopped talking over Will, the sales Rep. They were both really attentive. I contacted them because of the prices advertised. However, I paid what I'd pay anywhere else, so I'm not sure if I really got a deal. According to Chris, he designed the mattress that I purchased and the coil system is better than other brands. If that's true, maybe I got an amazing deal. I honestly don't know if he's a slimy salesman who was blowing smoke up my behind or if he's really that knowledgeable of mattresses and I really got the best deal ever. After reading the other reviews, I'm inclined to think that he blew smoke up my you know what. He was very flustered, talked really fast and just had an overall disingenuous demeanor. He reminded me of an addict craving a hit. I wanted to google the product and read the reviews, but all the invoice says is "Mcc8 14" King Mattress". Not sure how to feel, but I wouldn't recommend him. I came in for the $523 king sale. Sounded too good to be true. I should have trusted my gut as his sales techniques are very aggressive and unprofessional. As you can see, I paid a lot more than advertised, so the advertisement is absolutely false. Gary was able to help me find my new king plush mattress with an adjustable frame, two pillows & mattress protection right under my budget!!! He was able to get me financing at no APR for 3 months, he worked right at the budget he was given. He was not pushy at all. Gary was kind and well educated within the mattress industry. He was able to educate me on certain brands, what they are known of. He was able to find me the mattress that would suit best for my liking and right at $500. There are certain brands that have lifetime guarantee I would make sure to ask the mattress sales person is aware of this, Gary in fact was aware! I had gone to Mattress Clearance and decided to check out Mattress Firm before I bought anything with Gray. I thought of going to Mattress Firm since they are a corporate store as well as to review pros and cons, I can assure you that Mattress Firm sales people are hungry and very educated in their mattress knowledge, they quoted for almost triple for what I paid at Mattress Clearance. When I let the mattress firm know my budget it was as he was not interested in the sale anymore, which saddened me. I then went back to Mattress Clearance to get my furniture from there, Gary was able to get me a free pillow and a free mattress protection. This deserves a negative rating! Please stay AWAY from this con-artist Chris and his deplorable store. I got ripped off when I was purchasing a mattress. After only a few days of using it, it got bumpy and the mattress had large sinks and dips. Overall, it was a terrible sleeping experience. I began to sink so much into this "mattress" that it was an ordeal to get out of bed. And this one was from his premium selection (not a cheap price). I politely requested an exchange and his "factory warranty policy " is so ridiculous that I invited him to come or send someone to experience the defectiveness by themselves...crickets! This company sold us a mattress with 2 holes in it. We called the company to advise them of the damage and we were advised that they would give us a call back, once we received the call back they stated they would provide a mattress cover . We advised them that this is not acceptable , we paid over 800 dollars for an item that has defects . I spoke to Will with my complaints, will said he would have the owner call me . Prior to My speaking with Will, my boyfriend spoke with Will, they first questioned wether the drivers delivered the mattress inside the home . Secondly once the owner called , not attempting to help us, he states I am yelling at him. He said we were lucky enough to buy the mattress because the original cost of the mattress was 2800. ( this place is called Mattress Clearance , hence the $800 price ). The owner began to raise his voice once I advised him that this mattress was marked at $800 , therefore we are not lucky, we paid the sales price. He hung up . The owner then texted back, saying that now we get nothing. We were encouraged to try every mattress, the differences were explained thoroughly. We don't usually impulse buy, but we decided to purchase both mattresses. I left a review about mattress clearance center in Feb. when I reluctantly gave them three stars because the manager Jeff Burch said that he was going to make it right. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but here it is 11 months later & I have contacted him several times & was given excuses ( excuse me, lied to) each time. I finally called the regional office & asked for the regional manager, Ann. I actually heard her tell the sales person to tell me that she was not there. I told them that I heard that & would appreciate talking to her. She was EXTREMELY RUDE, but she didn't lie to me like Jeff did. She just said they weren't going to help me. I purchased the pure chiro flex queen feb 11 2018. It was supposed to have cooling gels and be top of the line. This was my first big purchase as a single mom of two and i wasted $926! i am more miserable on this bed then my bed prior. I cannot sleep good at night it is so hot and traps body heat. The mattress protector they said i 100% needed wont even stay on the mattress and that was $58. I emailed Feb 13 and never got response and with it saying no refund or exchange I just let it go.... So I need to be frank, this review is going to largely depend on a call I have with the owner later today. On Friday we bought a bed and an adjustable base, totaling over 2,000 dollars. There were delays and issues getting the bed delivered when they said it would be, but that is fine. Yesterday the bed and base were delivered, and unfortunately, the base would not fit up the stairs. there is an awkward turn, and a narrow entry to the stairs that prevented it from going up. I was told I would have to speak to the owner about refunding it, even though it has already been taken back. Now on to the worst part. The mattress was left here, and we set up our old frame and tried it out. This is in NO WAY the mattress we picked at the store. it's as hard and stiff as a brick! we woke up this morning in serious pain. I called as soon as the store opened to see if there was some sort of mistake, and if we could exchange the mattress. The man I spoke to, Mason, argued with me about which mattress was delivered, then told me there were no refunds on any of the items, and hung up. This, while he has the adjustable base at his store, and the mattress delivered is not the right one. The owner is promised to call me, and I will edit this review based on that call. I can only hope that he can salvage his stores reputation from his manager. --Edit: The store owner has refused any exchanges or refunds whatsoever, and we have had to resort to returning the mattress through the leasing agency. They will not, however, cover the initial deposit which was made in the store, which is 300 dollars. We are disputing that charge through our credit card company in order to recover the money from the store. Do not shop here, I'm sure you can get great deals, but the owner will not work with you in any way if things go wrong on their end. This is a huge hassle for us, and I can only hope that it works out. read more

I financed a bed and feel I was conned. Nothing but hidden fees when I went to pay it off. The salesmen didn't seem to care once I signed on the dotted line and didn't even show the slightest concern over the issue. I was told I owed a specific amount and when I went to make my 1st payment it was a higher number. BEWARE!!!! Poor customer service with my experience and I wouldn't recommend them or the Snap financing they offer. Shop elsewhere I'd give it zero stars but Yelp requires at least 1. read more

Best mattress we have ever slept on! Due to the Covid 19 situation, I hesitated looking for a mattress for my grandparents' bed which surprisingly became ours. Called Mattress Clearance Center in Plano and spoke to JW about what I was looking for in a mattress ( full size and firm) he told me he had several choices. Went the following Saturday JW remembered who I was and what I was looking for when I walked in. Customer service from JW was great, pricing was awesome, and most importantly the mattress is perfect! I will not do business with a company who practices "bait and switch." While looking for a basic full size mattress for my son's new bed frame I called Mattress Clearance Center and spoke with Mason who informed me that they have them for $133, in stock, telling me, "you can drive off with it today." I called a couple more stores in the area to check prices and then called MCC back, speaking again with Mason to verify that they do, indeed, have a full size mattress for $133, in stock, and he again confirmed this again saying I could take it away today. So I drove up there to find out that in fact they don't have one for $133 (in spite of my having called them TWICE to verify (trying to eliminate possible miscommunication) and Mason telling me, again TWICE, that they have them in stock and that they're $133. Turns out the gentleman I was dealing this had no idea what I was talking about and went to speak with the manager who said I could purchase a full that is normally $183 at $169, but that is all they could do. TWICE they said $133, but when I arrived (after taking the bait) they switched to $169 instead. And this after I already walked away from a similar bait and switch for a full mattress at Mattress One in Irving (I plan to write a similar review for them after I finish this one). I must believe that the whole mattress business is not populated with such unscrupulous people, but FWIW beware of doing business with Mattress Clearance Center. read more

Chris is a con artist. I was up front that I didn't think that this mattress would fit my bed. He thought that it would. I purposefully asked if we could return the mattress if it didn't. Chris said that we could. Of course it didn't. Within a week we called and asked about returning it. Chris said that we were his customers but didn't remember the conversation and that there was no return policy. Although I was very calm, he was very rude. I then asked if we just got ripped off. Wish I could put no stars! HORRIBLE PLACE! Bought a mattress for. $1,200 the cleopatra in King. We have called and complained since the first night sleep. I think where they store the mattresses make them deteriorate from the inside out, not sure. We have sent pictures and text as asked if us. They have stopped answering our calls. Im only giving one star because I had too. My husband and I came to this store on Sat, July 30, 2016 because the website stated KING Hybrid mattresses originally $3400, now $523. We walk in and the gentleman who I now know is Chris, does not even speak. When he does come over he is sweaty and very flustered. I tell him what I came in for and does he have this product. At the same time there is another lady who has come in and she states she is here for the same thing. Chris tells us that the twins are $523 that the website says starting at. I pull up the website as does the other lady and we both say Nooo it says kings $523. He rushes off to the computer as he is stumbling because he realizes this is false advertising. I tell him, this is bad marketing. He jumps up in my face and tells me to get the hell out of his store. I say excuse me!!! Im telling you this is bad marketing and you want to throw me out. So my husband comes around the corner and tells him he better watch who is talking too and get out of my face. Chris proceeds to call the police. We did nothing wrong. I have never been treated so terrible. Even the lady told him he was out of line and she would never purchase from him. He lost $1100 in 10 minutes due to his lack of customer service skills. He is a bully and if I had time to boycott his store with picket signs I would thats how strong I feel regarding this man and his business. He should not be a business owner. Best mattress store ever! Was in the market for a new mattress and had gone to a couple of other places including Mattress Firm who gave me a price over $1200 for just a full size mattress alone (no box springs included), then when I said I had to think about it, said he could give me 10% off that price IF I bought before leaving the store. When I still said no, he said he would let me "have" the mattress for a $1000 out the door if I came back before store closing that night ... which means he was about to jip me out of over $200 at the get go. Not exactly something that instills confidence, right? BUT at the Mattress Clearance Center, not only did I get a much better deal on a much better mattress at a much better price - with NO haggling involved - I got a couple of very nice free items that I wasn't even expecting! OWNER IS A TOTAL CON ARTIST - BUYER BEWARE!!! Chris, the owner, performed a classic bait and switch scam on me and refuses to render the product he told me I was purchasing. I went to this store on Black Friday 2015 with the intent to purchase a mattress for my son, pay for it in full, and take it home immediately. I told the owner, Chris, I wanted a full size pillow top mattress and would like to stay in the price range of around $250.00 and that I wanted to take it home with me as I brought a truck for transport. He strongly urged me to lay on a mattress, stating it was a memory foam mattress and he could give me a great deal since it was Black Friday and it would be within my price range. I did lay on the mattress and liked it, I told him I wanted that specific mattress, and he told me that he didn't have any more of that specific mattress in the store but would order one from him warehouse for me to pick up the following Monday. I agreed to this and paid him for the mattress and a box spring. My brother actually picked up the mattress for me the following Monday and brought it to my house. I immediately noticed it was much thinner than what I had laid on. I set up the mattress and realized it was a completely different mattress from what I had purchased. I called Chris right away and explained what happened suspecting there was a mix up from the warehouse or something and fully expected Chris to take care of the situation and render the mattress I purchased. But instead, he responded claiming that he told me at the time of purchase that what I was actually purchasing in store was the lower grade model from what I laid on and then told me the mattress I thought I was purchasing was twice the price from what he actually sold me. He claims he was careful to ensure I understood this at the time of purchase. Chris' claim is completely false. I expressed this to him and then he started stumbling with his words pointing out that if I'm right and there was miscommunication during purchase, the point is that he charged me for what he gave me. I stated that might be but expressed my feelings of this being a very wrong and dishonest business practice to which he began yelling at me and berating me. I told him I would not take that behavior from him and hung up. After informing my brother of this, he called and spoke with Chris and Chris' story changed further when he stated he showed me a small display with pieces of the mattress he was actually selling me at the time of purchase and that they have a strict no returns policy which he claims to have thoroughly outlined with me and had printed all over the payment receipt. This is completely false. He NEVER informed me that I was purchasing a mattress different from what I had specifically selected on the showroom floor and he never went over any sort of return policy with me and my payment receipt states nothing about a return policy whatsoever. I have the receipt and pictures of the receipt. Chris performed a classic bait and switch scam on me. This guy obviously cons a lot of people with this trick, I can just tell this isn't the first time he's done it. I have been contacting him, giving him the opportunity to make right on this sale and render the mattress he told me I was purchasing but he refuses. read more
