Updating my review - the owner has reached out and corrected the issues to my satisfaction.

They dropped the ball on delivery multiple times. Then when they finally installed the unit, took out a large chunk that is visible all the time. I am sharing this review for transparency regarding my experience with a wall bed purchase that began in January of last year, at a price point of over $7,000. The initial sales interaction was positive. During negotiations, I asked whether a mattress could be included. I was told it could be "thrown in." When I later referenced that conversation, I was told it was not remembered but that it would be included. The mattress was never delivered. At the time of purchase, I was given an estimated delivery timeframe of early April, with the understanding that custom furniture timelines can vary. Instead, installation did not occur for nearly six months. During that period, there were multiple instances where the bed did not make it onto the manufacturer's scheduled delivery truck, each time adding additional weeks to the estimated timeline. I only became aware of these missed shipments when I called to request updates. Communication was largely reactive rather than proactive, and status information required repeated follow up on my part. A $400 credit was also promised and was eventually issued after additional follow up. At installation, I noted a visible hole in the cardboard base. While minor on its own, it contributed to an overall pattern in which details required customer persistence to resolve. I followed up again in November regarding the missing mattress and did not receive a response. The product itself is satisfactory. My concern was not simply the delay, but the lack of consistent communication and the need to repeatedly pursue commitments over the course of more than a year. As of this writing, it appears the store is permanently closed and others have reported similar communication and delivery issues. For a purchase at this price level, I expect clearer follow through and proactive coordination. It appears I'll never receive my mattress, and I believe prospective customers should be aware of the timeline and communication challenges that can arise. read more

Ordered a wall bed in October for a late December delivery. I didn't hear anything from them in early December so I tried to contact them. I had no luck and their mailbox was full. I drove over to the Plano, TX store and it was closed. Called a different franchise store and was told the Plano store had been taking money in the latter half of 2025 knowing that they couldn't deliver products. I was told to file a police report for theft by fraud and to contact my credit card company. I did that and am waiting on the dispute to be resolved. A day ago I received a bankruptcy notice Chapter 7 by mail for this location. Unable to give a zero out of 5 which they deserve. read more

Try somewhere else if you're set on buying a Murphy bed. We've been waiting for 7 months, and we still don't have a delivery date for our (expensive) desk/bed. The customer service staff has been polite, but they don't have any facts or firm dates to share. They blame a supplier, but that's as much detail as I've heard so far. I hope this review prompts some action on their part. 3 unreturned messages and several missed promises is not the way to build a brand. read more

They took our money back in August and never delivered the product. Yesterday I received a letter that they filed for bankruptcy. I have been in contact with them and they have been stringing me along for months. The bed was ordered in August with a November 1st delivery date. The wild stories I got from the customer service rep were quite creative and I now realize were complete fabrications. I hate to see anyone lose their business but out right fraud should be punishable as a criminal act. This was outright fraud!! read more

Was quoted a three month time for the wall bed, it is now greater than four months. They kept on saying next week and next week, however, it seemed now that his business is closed as you can see with other reviews on google, if you paid with credit cards, go ahead and call them for a charge back. I confirmed with the owner of the Keller location that this location has indeed closed. read more

My wife and I ordered a custom wall bed on January 25, 2025, and we were told lead time was 8-12 weeks. After the 12th week, we called and asked about our order, they told us due to B/O Chinese manufactured parts (hinges) our order was delayed. After months and months of calling/waiting we finally had our wall bed installed on October 4... here's the kicker, we had a missing hardware (only one handle was installed) and the cross board that held the LED lights was damaged (wood separated when the installed was attaching it to the wall). The installer called Juile (customer support) to let her know the situation and to get what was needed replaced (replacement parts are manufactured in California). After a month... two, three months goes by, still no replacement after almost a year from purchase date. I have called the "customer support" number, the store where we purchased it from (Plano) and the Sales Manager who helped us... no answer; I cannot leave a voicemail because the boxes are full (gee I wonder why). With the amount of money that was spent on this wall bed on would think customer service should be top notch. Highly disappointed with this company and its horrendous customer service!! read more

They have a lot of selections and all their furniture is built in the U.S. Materials used are high quality and not compact wood like IKEA or other furniture stores. Jeff was really informative and helpful with picking the right Murphy bed. They had about 10 models in the showroom and they have a binder with other options. You can customize your Murphy bed to your liking base on the model you choose and select your trim, paint or stain, or hardware if applicable. Definitely glad I stopped by. No pushy sales pitch or pressure. If you're looking for a Murphy bed, this is a place to check out for sure! read more

I ordered a wallbed on May 28, 2021. I was told that it would take about 3 months to have it delivered to my house. I started reaching out to the store in late August. My phone calls went to voicemail and weren't returned. After several attempts, I became concerned. I was afraid that the store was no longer in business. I finally was able to talk to the sales person in September and he said that he "thought" it had been delivered to the warehouse and would call them and call me "tomorrow". Tomorrow came and went . No phone call. I waited a few days and called again. No answer. Finally, after repeated attempts, a man answered. I asked to speak to the man who sold me the bed and was informed that he no longer worked there. The man on the phone identified himself as the owner of the store. I told him who I was and the history of my purchase and he said he would look into it and call me back "TOMORROW". Tomorrow came and went. NO CALL. Days passed and no call. I finally was able to get ahold of the store owner and he said that the installer would contact me and arrange a da to install the bed. We decided on October 17th. Two men (contractors and good guys) arrived at my house and began unloading and then assembling the bed. Turns out, two pivotal pieces were incorrectly cut and too short. At this point, having ZERO faith in the store owner, I contacted the founder of the company and explained my situation. She was very nice and very concerned. She said that she would look into it and call me back. I did receive her call and she said that a new bed would be built within two weeks and that I would have it within two weeks after it was built. It's been almost 8 WEEKS and no bed...no communication...nothing. I financed the bed through Synchrony Bank and paid it off in October. When I financed it, the store owner was paid for the bed so there's no concern on his part. I have paid the full amount to the bank. Six plus months have passed and I have a partially assembled bed laying on the bedroom floor. If you are located in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area and want to purchase a wallbed, I strongly suggest that you avoid the Plano store and use the other metroplex Wallbeds and More store. In my 50 plus years of purchasing experience, I can say , unequivocally, that this has been the worst experience of my life. I have filed a dispute with Synchrony Bank because I don't have a bed. My next step will be legal action. read more

I love my wallbed! When folded up it gives me my own huge desk which I've never had before. It looks beautiful in my room and is of good quality. Cheryl is very pleasant to work with. It is installed safely, Recently after having this bed 5 years, it needed a minor repair. The team was out very quickly and provided the part needed. read more

I had one of the best retail experiences I've ever had at Wallbeds N More in Plano! Cheryl is knowledgeable about her products, imaginative in ways the beds could be embellished, and patient when I came to the store three times because I was worried I had made the wrong choice. She promptly returned calls and emails and she sent photos, dimensions and pricing of various beds to help me coordinate with my architect and designer. I don't usually hug salespeople, but Cheryl was so wonderful to work with on this big purchase I had to hug her! I guess I should also mention that the quality of the beds is remarkable. My designer and architect had never seen any with pistons to make lowering and raising easy. read more
