Horrible communication and poor work that has to be redone, then redone again…read more. 1. They (Thomas Martin) do not like to answer their phone or return calls. You will spend days leaving messages and quite possibly will not get a call back at all. If you're having an emergency, this isn't the team for you! 2. The work they do will be incomplete and shoddy at best. I'm on my third service call in 6 months from simple problems that they can't seem to fix. I had a leak, they charged me for the repair, several months later, its still leaking.. I also had them tune up my sprinkler heads (some were irrigating in the wrong places) and now I have a third of my heads not working at all.. If you need sprinkler repairs, this isn't the team for you! 3. If you do get an appointment scheduled, they will just not show up at all or even call you to let you know or schedule a new appointment. I waited all day yesterday for their appointment and the result is a wasted day and no repairs. Probably for the best, time to call a new team that can actually get the work done, I've been as patient as I can be. If your time or money are valuable to you, this is not the team for you! Spending my day today ensuring all of my neighbors are aware of this companies poor business practices, lack of professionalism and courtesy!

I am a firm believer in giving credit where credit is due. Since purchasing this home, I've…read morestruggled to keep the lawn in halfway decent shape. The weeds seemed out of control, I couldn't ever get the grass to fully turn green, and I had several bare spots throughout my 1/4 acre lot. I paid another locally owned company for a full year and saw meager results at best. I cancelled their service and called Millikens. From the first phone call, they were professional, helpful, concise, and definitely knew what they were doing. They put me on their 6 week schedule and came out within a few weeks for the first treatment. To date, I have only had two treatments and my lawn is already one of the best on my street. Each time they have come out, they spend 20+ minutes on my yard. You can tell they actually care vs the last company that did a 5-10 minute "spray and pray". Highly recommend in every way! Support your local businesses! You won't regret calling Milliken's.

It's sad that I to have to leave a negative review about this company. I have had two ENTIRELY…read moredifferent experiences with Hobert pools. I had my first pool built in Wylie and the process went well. There was an issue with decorative glass tiles being forgotten on the steps but this was corrected after the pool was built and filled. They also damaged my fence but paid to have it repaired. So that experience was good 4+ stars. My second pool was built in Farmers Branch and it's like a whole different experience. My pool has had leaks like crazy. I do have a lifetime warranty on the shell so each time I request a leak check they send someone but they do tell me that if no leak is detected then I will have to pay for the service. Well each time there has been a leak. My skimmers leaked, as did my main drain. Well the skimmer box was fixed and the main drain was "fixed" but in the process they cross treaded the screws that hold the main drain cover in place. So I keep texting their service company and they say they will send someone out (usually no one shows) this has been going on for close to a year. The main drain leak was detected the middle of 2023 and the cover hasn't been fixed since then. In addition my spa grout needed to be replaced after just 2 years this wasn't covered under the shell warranty but the guy who did replace it said it looked like it was very thin (too much water) when it was done so it just dissolved over time. All of my LED pool lights went out and had to be replaced this past year- so they lasted 4 years not sure if that is good or not. But it wasn't cheap to replace them. Overall this experience with this pool has been nothing short of horrible and while I felt I got great service the first time around this time I can't get anyone to fix or follow up on issues. Very disappointing, I had recommend and suggested Hobert to many of my coworkers, friends and neighbors but from now on I will not. Update 6/28/24 They sent someone out and so far (2 weeks of using the robot cleaner but no one has gone swimming yet) the cover has remained on.

It's getting more and more difficult to find honest service companies these days. I have Hobert in my contact list and they'll be the first to hear from me when/if I need help

We were babysitting our 3 grandchildren for the weekend so they had a blast checking out the pond display and yard decor inside. The pond display has a few fish but the highlight was watching the turtle! We went outside and saw all the baby fish in the tanks and lots of pond and bog plants to choose from. We saw Sid who was working outside and we had a few questions for him. Sid was great! He was very helpful and kind, answered all of our questions and even offered up some suggestions! After we chose the plant we wanted, he carefully wrapped it up for the trip home. He made sure to tell us how to fertilize the plant and we bought some tablets to use in the future. We had a great experience!

I had even scheduled a landscaping project and agreed to pay the $135/hr for 7 hours of work. He blew that by not even bothering to show up to mow. I don't have time for this. My house is the first near the entrance of my community and I have to have a nice lawn and landscaping. I would give ZERO stars if possible.
