I collected the chlorine from the front desk and made a separate purchase for the seasonings. I didn't use the seasonings until this weekend when I fired up my smoker. It was then that I noticed the "best by" date was from May 2023. While I understand that a "best by" date is just a guideline, two years past that date is quite excessive. I called the store to request an exchange but was told "NO" due to their 30-day policy, which I understand. However, the "manager" repeatedly informed me that seasonings don't expire; they just lose their smell, potency, and flavor. He emphasized multiple times that they were not "expired." Having cooked for over 20 years, I know what happens to seasonings past their prime. When they lose their intended qualities, I typically discard them as they no longer serve their purpose. So, I ask you this: What do you buy seasonings for? The smell? The flavor? The potency? All of these attributes diminish over time. The fact that this store sells products with dates from two years ago is quite concerning. Since the manager offered no assistance, I will be leaving reviews to inform the public that this location sells outdated products and is inflexible with their "policy."

It was ready a day ahead of what they said. We got there about 5 min prior to closing but were so nice waiting til the truck arrived to load it (SIL was getting off work and rushing over). Even though it was after closing they loaded it and I never heard a harsh remark or saw a roll of eyes. Definitely will always see if I can buy from them as needed.

The owners and staff at this location had full knowledge of my medical condition and disabilities, yet they chose to ignore it. Their actions directly triggered a serious medical episode, causing me to black out, require an ambulance, and end up in the hospital. Let me be absolutely clear: This was avoidable, and they knew it. Instead of showing even the most basic level of human decency or concern, they acted with a cold, profit‑first mentality. There was no compassion, no urgency, no respect for my health, and certainly no accountability. Their behavior made it painfully obvious that this location values profits over people, even when someone's well‑being is at stake. No customer should ever walk into a store and leave in an ambulance because the staff refused to act responsibly. When in the gardening section the gentleman there was giving great advice, but mentioned he wished that someone else was there. He stepped away to call the person whose day off it was, who agreed with his advice, and then came back and followed up with us to ensure that we were doing the best thing for our new landscaping. I am not sure if Lowes makes their employees ask people if they want to do random surveys etc. but it was annoying to be asked if I want to buy solar panels in the paint section.
