When the new hardware store concept epitomized by Home Depots unique business model hit the screen,it was this location that fed my need for unlimited inventory,great prices and knock your socks off service. This was one of if not the first Home Depot north of Dallas. Alot has changed over the years but,they seem to be delivering a broad range of products at great prices. The service aspect struggled for sometime but,seems to be back on track. This is no longer my go to store but,I've spent a few bucks here over the years including Live Christmas trees! read more

This Home Depot is the best in the area and it's not even close. They put on an absolute clinic customer-service-wise and the selection blows my other Home Depot out of the water. Simply put, this Home Depot could bitch slap your Home Depot. Am I allowed to say that? Ok, cause it does. The store is immaculate, and they have several other varieties of every item I'm usually looking for instead of just one, and they have about twice as much inventory as I thought Home Depot's usually carry, at least compared to my hometown one in Richardson. They're very well-staffed and I was helped by 4 different agents proactively. That's not easy to do but this machine is well-oiled and humming along. I visited home depot central expressway for a weber grill. I was told there were 2 in stock, the one on the floor and one in a box. I bought the boxed grill and waited til the next day for it to be professionally assembled. I came back the next day, loaded it in my car, unloaded it at home, discovered there was no grease pan, no drip pan, the upper rack would not fit together AND the ignitor button was broken (I changed the battery to make sure) Plus, it was the one on the floor and I had specifically bought a new, boxed one. Loaded it back in the car, unloaded it at the store, no easy task, and was told there wasn't another one, although online still said there were two. Very disappointing, home depot. I hope your manager reads this. read more

Whatever you do, do not under any circumstances use their door installation. They were happy to take my money back in April. I was quoted 2-4 weeks for the process. It's been 9. Now they "forgot" to charge me for installation and can't get me scheduled for 6 more weeks. And this after I have to keep calling and reminding them. It's borderline extortion. Im just certain they'll find a way to forget the install or show up without the door. So incompetent. read more

Pretty good Home Depot, though in general I am not a fan of the big box hardware stores. But this lovation might have changed my opinion about some of that. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in every department that I visited, including the Garden area, the Seasonal area, the Light Bulb area, and the Flooring area. Stopped by Home depot looking for a M6-1.0 x 35 MM screw. I have never purchased a metric size screw so I wasn't sure where it would've been. I asked for assistance from an employee and he stated he would call someone over. I waited 5 minutes and the same employee passed by 2-3 times. So I went to the customer service desk to ask for help again. They called over Hector and he walked us over to Fasteners where we had been and asked us multiple repetitive questions about the screw we were looking for, pointed us in the wrong direction, tried to tell us we were looking for a sheet metal screw when we were looking for a machine screw then called over his manager. His manager, luckily actually knew what we were looking for, however, he didn't really address us. Only looked at Hector and responded to his questions, then proceeded to tell him why he was wrong and how he could correct it... which is great but could be done after checking if the item we were after was in stock (which it was not, even though it said it was in stock online) and preferably not in front of a customer. read more

Poor customer service. Waited 45 minutes for someone to help cut lumber. They overhead paged 5 times, and no response. Manager, Miracle, was then overhead paged and did not respond. She was called, did not respond. An associate saw her walking down the aisle (in the opposite direction from the register she was paged to), so I rushed to catch up with her, and she walked into the breakroom. I was really surprised with the level of apathy at this branch, particularly from the manager, Miracle. Usually, associates at Home Depot go out of their way to ask if you need any help. I placed a "pick-up" order for new shelves and when I arrived the transaction went seamlessly. I needed to find brackets, screws and anchors for the shelving project. You may OCCASIONALLY find what you need here if it's a common item, but this is my 4th or 5th project in 6 months and the people working here NEVER seem to know what I'm asking for or what they're talking about in response. Last time, I even had to go back and try to re-pick out items somebody "helped" me find, and eventually just said f*** it and went down the hwy to Lowe's even though this place is walking distance from my home!! Im finally posting this cause I called this morning and asked for a dowel/barrel nut (see photo) and the guy literally said, "I have no idea what you're talking about". Now I do my research on every project so I know EXACTLY what I'm looking for (maybe not the exact size) but who memorizes all those?? I always give them as much detail as my brain can muster and they still NEVER come up with a solution to my issues, even in person they'll say "we can't help you". PLEASE SAVE TIME AND STRESS AND GO TO LOWES!!!!! They have a military discount as well and I've never had to double back because the customer service is out of this world, compared to this crappy Home Depot. It is a Home Depot. If you have been to one, you have been to them all, with one glaring difference. This location has overly aggressive greeters. They literally stop you in your tracks when you walk in to ask you if they can help you. I understand the point of greeters and good customer service but they are taking it to an extreme. This has happened to me multiple times by multiple employees at this location. Everyone is different, I understand, but personally, I come into HD because I am need of something specific that I need immediately and to get in and out and on my way. This is hampered and makes for an unpleasant experience when I enter and feel pressured to stop and tell the greeter that I am fine and know what I am after. They continue until you either walk away or tell them exactly what you are there for. I personally do not like this. Other than that, I can get out quickly with the self checkout. The app is great and tells you exactly where to find your item (no need for agressive, nosey greeters). read more

This is a COVID issue so maybe it will be resolved but the way they have reconstructed their parking lot to cater to curbside and are trying to control the flow of pedestrian traffic has made this location awful to get in and out of. It would make more sense if they did the curbside pickup on the opposite side of the store from where the garden center is. There is parking there and the curbside traffic would not block up the folks who are coming in the store to shop. I hope they make a change. read more

Bought some kitchen appliances here, good service and very friendly. Followed up several times over the phone (problems with the manufacturer, not HD) and staff at the store solved all the issues without me having to call an 800 number for the appliance manufacturer. read more

Very upsetting my car was hit by an employee who lost control of his dolly cart and he felt he didnt need to apologize or take any accountability for what happened. If you've been to Home Depot before then you pretty much know what to expect. I've been to several locations throughout the Dallas Metroplex and this location seems very similar or comparable to the other locations. The staff have been very helpful when we. My hope has been restored in customer service in Home Depot. I have always been a fan of Home Depot so my wife and I went there to find a smoker grill so Eric saw us looking and ask could he help us find the things we needed. Eric was totally outstanding he explained the pro and cons of the grill we purchased. Mr Eric even showed us the best items to take care of the grill with. Mr. Eric explain even how to cook certain things. He didn't even leave us alone after helping us pick out the grill and items. He even stayed with us throughout the entire process. Not only was we please we were impressed With the level of service and knowledge that he shared with us I will always go back to this Home Depot for all my needs. read more

Albert, retired Electrical Engineer, explained to me how to replace different types of fixtures and different wiring configuration I was encountering. He even had made examples to show customer of various wiring connections. I had absolute confidence to do the work after talking to Albert. Ordered would flooring after "HD floor specialist" came to my home for measurements and site inspection of feasibility of project. When the installers arrived they stated that Home Depot could not find plans or information on my project, wanted to know if I had any idea why certain products were ordered for my particular project, and then with a quick inspection stated that the subfloor was not stable enough to support the floor. The installers were straight forward about potential problems of the install and also informed me that with upstairs installs, there is a 50% chance it may not be do-able without new subfloor; "Did they tell you that?" Usually pretty knowledgable and helpful- but the key is finding someone to ask in the first place. Sometimes they get it wrong and that can be costly but I guess that's the price you pay for not knowing the answer yourself, right? Like last night the paint guy told me to buy a certain paint roller and he was very wrong. It wasted paint and time and money because I was paying a couple of kids to paint my deck and they tried using the rollers and then had to sit and wait while I ran back to Home Depot to get the correct rollers which I discovered via a quick online search for tips when painting with Deck Over from Behr. Live and learn :( They have self check out (which I hate but know others love) as well as the traditional cashier check out and make sure you bring your receipt for returns but don't worry- they are pretty good at accepting their goods back. read more
