I picked up two pillows that were on clearance and some bird seed. The bird seed was all in plastic containers and was difficult to get to and there were things on top of the boxes. I went through self-checkout and the associate came over to help me because the pillows rang up as normal price. She told me to take a picture and she would have a manager change pricing. I went and took a picture and she attempted to change the price and it needed a manager override, I waited in line for 5 minutes for a manager to come. As I was waiting the associate peppered me with compliments and asked me if there was a baby in my stomach. I am not pregnant, just fat. I had a miscarriage several years ago and found the question extremely inappropriate and offensive. The parking lot was full of inventory and because of that there were limited parking spots available. Definitely was not a good shopping experience today. read more

Good service is hard to come by but at this Lowe's location that's not the case. During a busier time, they greet you upside entrance and I received multiple offers of assistance. Vernon assisted me and he was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. My visit was fast, efficient and cheap. The store was neat as well without all of that aisle clutter. read more

I purchased Levelor blinds through Lowe's. Once paid it took weeks to finally receive them. Then several additional weeks file their contractor to install them. One of the blinds was damaged and long story short took over 2 months to get this handled. I would never go through Lowe's for any service they offer. The manager Darrin is a real jerk! I have spent over 30,000 with this location and company but I am done this time. I have given them several chances and the customer service there is horrible. I am redoing my review of this Lowe's because on saturday we went totally different than any other visit to this Lowe's. I have always walked in and never had anyone help me even when I had to lift something that says team lift on it the guy watched until I was done and then asked me if I needed help in the past. These visits however we a complete different situation. I walked in and everyone was super helpful and nice. I had numerous people ask me if I needed help. Every worker I passed by spoke to me which I was shocked by. The cashier was great! I ended up having to go back for more supplies and it was the same then. I was pleasantly surprised! They didn't have the smoker I wanted in stock not put together so i ended up going to the other mckinney one. read more

I'd rather stick toothpicks under my toenails than shop at this store ever again. Not once but twice I've had the worst customer service experience here. It you're going to hire someone to run your customer service desk, they should be able to bring a half way decent attitude. I tried to buy a dishwasher here - posted price 729, cool. Also tax free, also posted... even better. Sike! Rang up at 779 and hit me with tax and refused to make it right, gave me a whole 70$ off and continued to blame the appliances sales guy. Fast forward - 1 mile down the road is a store call Home Depot and you know what the understand? CUSTOMER SERVICE! Not only did they treat me with respect and a valued customer they got me the exact dishwasher ordered for almost $200 less. I'll save you some time but my second experience was with a nest camera - also pretty horrible experience. read more

I loved Lowe's for years I have been shopping in Lowe's for all my home improvement products. BUT this time the worst experience I've ever had with Lowe's or any other store. My delivery date was delayed once and on the actual delivery day, I waited the whole day and no one showed up, but they sent text to me the day before saying it's ready to be delivery the next day. When I called the customer service, they couldn't find my items and have no idea what happened, just asking me to cancel my order and reorder something else. That's just ridiculous, I purchased the washer dryer and fridge online 2 weeks ahead before I move in to my new house and lived in the house without a washer dryer and fridge for 5 days (and not end yet) already, no fresh food no ice not able to cook. And they just told me nothing and ask me to reorder again and wait for another two weeks or even more days to have my fridge delivered. Not only that, they have my items fulfilled by three Lowe's stores and third party delivery trucks came with items and their appliances all separately, so I had a dryer without the power cord and then a washers with no connecter, the workers were not willing to help me install them. I talked to someone and was put on hold for 1hour with no apologies. Now It's 9pm and I've been in store waiting for 40min for them to find my missing fridge and they just couldn't find it. They asked me what I want to do next and I was like "what the ?" Someone should tell me what I should do now! What I know is I will never shop in Lowe's online. Oh btw the dryer they delivered to me was damaged hahaha I almost forgot to mention that part! read more

I would avoid dealing with Lowes if it entails their delivery service. Terrible. They left my appliance which I paid to be picked up and never contacted me with a delivery time. I then scheduled another delivery time. They missed the delivery day. I wasted another day waiting on them. I now have another appointment scheduled tomorrow. I was told they have delivery issues and I need to call the store if they don't contact me to set up a time. They should be paying me. 3 days of sitting around. read more

We got a new ceiling fan and very good advice from associate. He was very knowledgeable and courteous as we shopped. We stopped at this store as we were enroute and planned to visit another Lowe's store in Frisco. Good change of plans. They offer to install the fan for $100 so unless you are ready to get up on the tall ladder and mess with electrical connection get the service. BTW: we saved $$$ by being part of their military discount program. Check it out. UPDATE One week later. Fan installer called day before and requested if he could install in morning vs. afternoon which was better for us. He arrived within projected time and said it would take 30 minutes. Which it did. Home owner has to dispose of old fan but no problem as it was disassembled and scraps/packing from new fan repackaged in new fan box. Neat and tidy. read more

We bought a driveway stain from Lowe's and it ended up being much bluer than anticipated. I had spoken to several "paint experts" at different places and they basically said that unless we wanted to grind our driveway down we were stuck with this color. Today I walked into Lowe's and it was quiet so I thought it might be a good time to go to the paint department. I hit the jackpot, Jordyn saw me standing at the paint counter and heard my story and saw the color it was and brainstormed what to do. She called Lilly over and together they added orange to make the color less blue and the color is PERFECT now. They 100% went above & beyond to help me and I couldn't be more grateful. Horrible service. You buy something and they don't put your name on it so they sell it to someone else. By the time you get back to pick it up they respond with "oh we will have to order that" not only that but they take THREE weeks to put up a fence that's not even on half a acre. Stopped in looking for removable wallpaper. They do not carry any wallpaper in store. However, i went to tile department to see if the peel and stick tile would work for my project. Denny was stocking flooring but stopped to offer assistance. He asked me about project. I told i actually have time but not confident in cutting it and didn't have a wet saw. We had been searching for interior french doors, but also wanted a matching single glass-paned door for a nearby hallway in the same style. Due to the unusual size of the hallway doorway, it was proving to be much more difficult to find a reasonably-priced solution. Imagine our surprise when we not only found the perfect french doors at the Prosper TX Lowe's, but on top of that they were custom order returns so we got a great deal on them! To make it even sweeter, Rose listened to our struggles in finding a matching single door, quickly went about finding it in the system and ordered the exact same style for our hallway. Rose also came out to the loading area to make sure the french doors would fit into our truck. This store opened in January 2017 and is considered a " showroom store" meaning they do not stock everything you see at the regular Lowe's store. Great if your shopping for appliances, kitchen remodel, or flooring. Not so great if your looking for let's say "solar screen" material, you won't find it here because they only stock the standard screen material. So you will have to buy the solar screen at a regular Lowe's....ex: Lowe's in McKinney/Frisco. read more

This Lowe's is not veteran friendly. I was checking out of the line and asked the cashier if they had a veteran discount. I showed her my military veteran ID and she stated they do not accept the government ID. She asked me to go to the other counter and fill out a bunch paperwork to prove I was a veteran. I left due to the offensive behavior and went down the street to Home Depot. I purchased all the same merchandise and asked them if they have a veteran discount. She politely said yes and I showed her my ID. She accepted the ID as proof and thanked me for my service. I will be shopping at Home Depot for the foreseeable future. read more
