I have been a customer at FIO for 3 yrs and have always had the absolute best experience. They are always kind, professional and knowledgeable. Their selection of plants, pots, soil, fertilizer etc is the best. Every single plant is of the highest quality, with healthy roots, leaves and blooms. Highly recommend! read more

Extremely poor customer service. Thats what you get from a plant reseller just out to make a buck. Anyone can buy a plant and resell it, don't take your chances here. Do i need to mention the mealy bugs? read more

Absolutely love the staff and their care when shipping plants. Enjoyed the online grow light class to help link together everything and help me become more successful this winter. Ally keeps getting me in trouble though by not writing on the outside of the boxes "definitely not more plants" read more

I won't buy from them again. Unbeknownst to me at the time of purchase, they sold me a plant with over 95% root rot. I submitted pictures of the black roots. Customer Service refused to replace the $18 plant, but they "graciously" offered me 25% off my next plant. read more

I have been going to this plant shop for years. They always have the most high-quality healthy and unique plants. It is a great shop to visit if you want to add something new to your collection or if you are just venturing into the world of house plants. The owners are very kind and knowledgeable and are sure to set you up for success. I highly recommend visiting this plant shop whether it is spring summer or winter they will always have something good! Their prices are also very competitive compared to standard market prices. Rare plants can get expensive, but they seem to always price fairly. I also appreciate their selection of plant accessories, propagation containers, pest control sprays etc. Go and see what all the fuss is about! You will be glad you did. read more

Famous In Oregon has become my absolute favorite place to go when I have a little extra time in my day. I came in for the first time knowing absolutely nothing about houseplant care, and little by little I have absorbed their advice. I now own 6 different plants from them because of how easily applicable their care instructions are! Tanner and Erika care about their clients, and are very honest. Their store is kept so nice, and the placement of their plants is especially thoughtful. I know every time I go in that there will be new plants to see, and it always smells so good. They also have the cutest cat named Didi who is so friendly and sweet. I could go on and on, but wherever you are in your plant journey, I urge you to visit this hidden gem. read more

I came in a few days ago, and the service was extremely rude and unprofessional. I had been in town for a while and wanted to shop for some plants for my green house. The variety was extremely limited when I stopped by, and when I asked politely if there would be any more anytime soon, the employees gave a lot of attitude. Overall just unwelcoming, unprofessional people. read more

I had visited while on vacation and was disappointed. Customer service very rude while I was there.

Yesterday was the first of many visits I will make to this whimsical and beautiful little plant shop in Prosper. I love the whole experience, start to finish. The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful in picking out the best plant for a space. They helped explain lighting, care instructions and what to expect. On the bottom of the receipt is a link to a private Facebook group with videos and care instructions. Indoor offer so many aesthetic and health benefits, and I can't wait to fill more rooms with beauties from this store. read more

Famous In Oregon - The owners, Tanner & Erika, will help you grow a green thumb! First visit to this fresh plant shop with eclectic greenery - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Prosper, Texas

Amazing amazing company! I can't say enough about them! The only negative is they're a bit far away. I bought a philodendron Micans and it's absolutely the best plant I've ever purchased in terms of initial quality. No one believes that it just came from a store. I haven't met Tanner or Erika yet, but I'm hoping I catch them sometime when I'm in. I can't remember the name of the lady who helped me, but she was excellent as well and very knowledgeable! It felt like I was visiting a friend and not a store that I'd never been to. How many businesses can you truly say that about, even in the south? I haven't been to many. Please do check them out, whether you're in the Prosper area, or online. They're truly deserving of your business and so kind and humble. They even provide support after you've brought your baby home. read more

Amazing service! We went in for a Christmas tree last minute and the employees were super willing to let us leave the tree there to pick it up later and ended up offering to deliver it to our house! We got a nice discount and even picked up some more plants on our way out of the store! Amazing amazing amazing! read more

Tanner & Erika are extremely knowledgeable and kind!!! They help you every step of the way in caring for your new house plant! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised in the variety of plants they have. We were especially happy when Erika informed us that they ship plants out of state!!! Yay!!! We have friends that we love to send special gifts to and had been calling our friend's local nursery for gift cards they do not have for online purchasing, etc. it made it very difficult to send them quality house plants that say "Hand picked for you with love & care" Here at "Famous In Oregon" Tanner & Erika hand pick every plant with care for all of their customers. For them, we are not just a customer but friends & family. I just love this shop!!!! Life is so much sweeter with "Famous In Oregon" you gotta come inside and experience the beauty of their shop!!! So very excited to have such a wonderful treasure locally!!! read more

What a lovely little shop! I was on the hunt for a large fake houseplant and I'm so happy I didn't find one lol. So I passed this place by chance and thought what if I gave a real plant a try. I needed help as I've never cared for a real plant with any luck and they were very nice and helpful. I found the perfect plant with a perfect pot and I'm in love with her! They gave me very specific care instructions and I hope I can keep her thriving for many years to come! read more

Amazing, amazing, amazing! The cutest plant shop with some of the best costumer service ever. They are extremely knowledgable and also provide various resources to make sure you are successful at being a plant parent. Instagram, facebook, tiktok...Tanner the Planter is the go-to for all things plants! His wife is a dream! She not only shared with me which plant would be the best for my space, but also a little bit about herself and her family background. It oddly makes me feel like a member of their plant family lol. I love that she was so open and vulnerable to talk to me about her immigrant family and to share her gratefulness of now being a small/local shop owner in Prosper, TX. I'm in Frisco so luckily Prosper is not far from me at all and I now have the cutest plant shop to shop at when I feel like I need something to add to my space. It makes me miss my local plant shop back in Kansas City, but Famous in Oregon has so much charm! Glad for it to my new go-to plant stop and I'm glad to have their guidance via social media! read more

Very unfocused. Online plant sales are disorganized. Overpriced. I would not go back since they prefer cuteness to professionalism

Finally found a local plant shop filled with so many beautiful plant babies! So many options and well organized. I had a such a kind conversation with Julie, she really made the whole experience so much fun. Easily my one and only plant shop from now on! read more

I called Famous in Oregon to help me re-pot a plant I've been housesitting for one of my clients while they are out of town. They quickly responded to me and told me to come in. I certainly am not somebody with a green thumb but whether you're a newbie or you're a true lover plants this is a great place to come and find yourself a beauty for your home. I recently moved to Prosper and stumbled upon Famous In Oregon. Went in with my husband not expecting much from a small town store. The store was super organized and neat. I picked up a peperomia and a nice white planter to go with it. The staff were friendly and super knowledgable. They encouraged me to follow them on FB and TikTok "Tanner the Planter" to learn more on tips on indoor plant, which I did. It's super useful for me since I'm new to being a plant mom. I will definitely be back for more plants. Go support this local business, you will not be disappointed! read more

If you have a "black thumb" (which is not a thing btw) or an avid plant lover...this is the shop for you!! They are super helpful, knowledgeable and have LOTS to choose from. Famous In Oregon were the nicest people to deal with! I'm calling in from CA and they were kind enough to send me photos of the actual trees that they had to choose from. Erica and Julie were so nice and friendly, and helped me choose the perfect sympathy plant. They made it easy and with free delivery. The same day!! Wish they lived near me. The tree is over 3 feet tall with a ceramic pot. Very reasonable! read more
