I feel it is necessary to address my concerns with Treeland Nursery, having spent a considerable…read moreamount of money on its products (over $6,000). I was disappointed by the company's response when the only tree that failed was a 65-gallon live oak that cost $598. When I contacted Treeland regarding the tree, I hoped the company would work with me toward a reasonable resolution, such as a replacement tree or even a smaller replacement. Instead, I was offered only a 10% discount toward a future purchase. Given the amount of business I have done with Treeland, I found this offer disappointing and insufficient. I was also disappointed by the tone of the communication I received from Derek. Rather than feeling that my concerns were being addressed constructively, I felt the response was somewhat condescending and focused more on explaining planting techniques than on finding a satisfactory resolution. I recognize that trees are living products and that there can be circumstances in which a tree does not survive. However, I believe customer service is demonstrated by how a company responds when a customer experiences a problem. After spending thousands of dollars with a business, I expected a more customer-oriented approach and a genuine effort to reach a mutually acceptable solution. Unfortunately, Treeland's response has left me with little confidence in its commitment to customer satisfaction. I would much rather do business with a nursery that values customer relationships, stands behind its products, and offers a reasonable warranty or replacement policy. Based on this experience, I will be taking my future business elsewhere. I hope Treeland will reconsider its approach to customer service and recognize the importance of retaining loyal customers, particularly those who have made substantial purchases.

Bonham Hardware/Fix and Feed…read more Lots of inventory in every category you might expect at a hardware/lumber yard/feed store. The problem is the staff. Not willing to get off their butts to help. I normally have to hunt down an employee and ask for help. Not particularly friendly. Most have a don't-give-a-rat's-butt attitude and have that small-town you're not from here so I'm gonna sit and stare at you or ignore you completely. There are exceptions. A few employees are friendly and go out of their way to help, but those are few and far between. Example: The last time I was in the store, I saw a plasma cutter that drew my interest. No price tag displayed. No employees nearby. When I checked out, I asked the girl at the register if she could check a price on an item. Please note that the cash register has a database where she could easily look up the price herself. Instead she picked up the walkie-talkie and yelled for a price check. Nobody answered. I got checked out and as I was finishing the transaction, an employee on the walkie-talkie finally answered and asked if anyone had taken care of the price check. My cashier told the other employee not to worry about it. I told the cashier I was still interested in the price. Her response "He's probably all the way at the back of the store" (which meant she wasn't about to ask this other employee to do the price check. This is typical of my experience at this store. Cool. I'll buy it somewhere else. I genuinely hate going into this store and avoid it unless it's the only place in town that has what I need.
