The owners may want to review the performance of the current receptionist. I recently called to ask…read moreabout the plant inventory due to my busy schedule. I was polite in my request, and if providing that information wasn't possible, I would have appreciated being directed to the website instead. Unfortunately, the receptionist's responses came across as passive-aggressive, which made the interaction unnecessarily unpleasant. Providing helpful and courteous customer service is important, and this experience did not meet that expectation. And unfortunately, I'm not surprised, many people do not like to work nowadays.

We gave them an idea of what we wanted and sent pictures of the area (as we are in central Texas) and they drew up exactly what we had in mind from the windows to the doors to the leantoo added. A few months later we saw they had kid playsets for our kids. We got one ordered, was able to have options for things we didn't want, for example we wanted a swirl slide and not a straight slide. We also wanted to add monkey bars. They got it ordered for us and a quick delivery! When an issue popped up with the playset I informed the company and the delivery people. Shed Solutions made sure the company was on top of their mistake in a timely manner!! They truly care for their customers!! Don and Lisa have amazing customer service and get the job done right!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Haliburton Salvage…read more This is one of our favorite places to go to find fabulous high end unique New Windows, New Doors, Architecture Salvage, construction materials/building materials etc., We have purchased so many things over the last few years for all 3 of our cottages. We purchased a New very large Window for the dining room/sitting room area of cottage #1 here. It lets in just the right amount of light & is perfect for sittin a chair next to it to read & view the Gorgeous rolling hills of North Texas wine country. Fabulous. We also purchased a New craftsman style Anderson solid OAK inside, aluminum outside window for the guest room of cottage #1 that is stunningly beautiful. My absolute favorite window I purchased here is the speciality giant 48x72 Horizontal sliding (side to side) "cottage style window" that was installed in the master suite of Cottage #1 (in front of the clawfoot tub) so you can view the sunset over rolling hills of the North Texas wine country from the bath in the evening. Just lovely. We even installed solid wood Horizontal sliding (side to side) "shutters" inside to close off the "cottage style window" for privacy. I custom made those. I also purchased 4 sets of 14 light French doors that went into cottage #1, 2 in cottage #2 and 4th set will go into cottage #3 we are just breaking ground on, so they will all match. We have found so many building materials here also that we have used. It's good to keep checking as inventory comes in all the time. If you are looking for a certain size window or door, you can call them to check to see they have it in stock. They also have a 2nd location, you can ask them to check that location as well if you do not mind driving there to pick it up. We custom build. And this is our #1 place we enjoy going. Highly highly recommend.

Bonham Hardware/Fix and Feed…read more Lots of inventory in every category you might expect at a hardware/lumber yard/feed store. The problem is the staff. Not willing to get off their butts to help. I normally have to hunt down an employee and ask for help. Not particularly friendly. Most have a don't-give-a-rat's-butt attitude and have that small-town you're not from here so I'm gonna sit and stare at you or ignore you completely. There are exceptions. A few employees are friendly and go out of their way to help, but those are few and far between. Example: The last time I was in the store, I saw a plasma cutter that drew my interest. No price tag displayed. No employees nearby. When I checked out, I asked the girl at the register if she could check a price on an item. Please note that the cash register has a database where she could easily look up the price herself. Instead she picked up the walkie-talkie and yelled for a price check. Nobody answered. I got checked out and as I was finishing the transaction, an employee on the walkie-talkie finally answered and asked if anyone had taken care of the price check. My cashier told the other employee not to worry about it. I told the cashier I was still interested in the price. Her response "He's probably all the way at the back of the store" (which meant she wasn't about to ask this other employee to do the price check. This is typical of my experience at this store. Cool. I'll buy it somewhere else. I genuinely hate going into this store and avoid it unless it's the only place in town that has what I need.
