I was given a price of $ 250.00 a ton to $ 315.00 a ton with variations of stone. I told him we would be there to pick-up on Tuesday. He was very nice & I told him my needs for the stone & he even offered suggestions on the leveling with decomposition granite. My husband, son & I arrive on Tuesday as planned with our 16' trailer, as discussed with Scott as well to accommodate the weight of the stone. We are helped by Matt & he starts figuring up how much it would cost us & another worker states that they just had increase to $ 375.00 a ton. Long story short, it cost me $ 750.73 for this paving stone. Go to Good Earth Soil & Materials folks. They sell the same stone for $ 250.00 to $ 265.00 a ton for the same stone. I called this morning to see if I could bring it back & get my money since it is still on the trailer & has not been touched. I was informed no returns or exchanges! Bonham Hardware/Fix and Feed…read more Lots of inventory in every category you might expect at a hardware/lumber yard/feed store. The problem is the staff. Not willing to get off their butts to help. I normally have to hunt down an employee and ask for help. Not particularly friendly. Most have a don't-give-a-rat's-butt attitude and have that small-town you're not from here so I'm gonna sit and stare at you or ignore you completely. There are exceptions. A few employees are friendly and go out of their way to help, but those are few and far between. Example: The last time I was in the store, I saw a plasma cutter that drew my interest. No price tag displayed. No employees nearby. When I checked out, I asked the girl at the register if she could check a price on an item. Please note that the cash register has a database where she could easily look up the price herself. Instead she picked up the walkie-talkie and yelled for a price check. Nobody answered. I got checked out and as I was finishing the transaction, an employee on the walkie-talkie finally answered and asked if anyone had taken care of the price check. My cashier told the other employee not to worry about it. I told the cashier I was still interested in the price. Her response "He's probably all the way at the back of the store" (which meant she wasn't about to ask this other employee to do the price check. This is typical of my experience at this store. Cool. I'll buy it somewhere else. I genuinely hate going into this store and avoid it unless it's the only place in town that has what I need.

I'll fast-forward to say the entire experience was superb!! First I called their customer service line to inquire on their pre-lit wreaths. I was on hold for about 30 seconds. The rep answered my questions and made me feel more secure. I placed my order, immediately received an emaiconfirmation, and got a tracking number within 2-3 days. The packages arrived within a week. Upon initial inspection I quickly realized they've got quality products. This isn't your Lowe's or Home Depot stuff people! Unfortunately as I opened up the box of wreath decorations I noticed one of the ornaments broke during shipping. I quickly called, spoke to a rep who took my info and created a ticket. I was even able to submit a picture via email to show the damage. I was told I would hear back from someone shortly. Being a bit skeptical I thought I'd never hear back and would have to go back and forth but I'm very happy to report that was not the case. I got an email about 5 biz days later advising a new ornament was being shipped and a tracking number was provided. If you're looking for quality holiday home decorations look no further.
