However, this time the service was terrible and the communication during the time of service was little to none. FOUR times they came out and dumped chemicals in our pool and called it good to swim in when it most definitely was not. Chemicals we were willing to pay for since they were used in our pool. Not only was our pool still dirty, my husband had to help the technicians. We should be charging a $75 cleaning fee for that by their standards. During the time of service it was never communicated to us that the filters of our system needed to be cleaned. It was 4 months after service that we were told it had to do with our filters. NOTHING was told to us during the time of service. If we had been told that we would have done it. Our bill was over $500 for a still dirty pool with debris still in the bottom. With just cleaning fees alone $75 x 4 = $300 which is over half the bill. This is ABSURD. I told them I would pay for all the chemicals and for 1 of the $75 cleaning fees, but not 4 of them. The GENERAL MANAGER has poor customer service and fails to recognize when a customer is unhappy with the services performed. He got an attitude with me about the amount owed for the terrible work done. All aside this company and Don choose to lose a customer over $225 (3 cleaning fees of $75) instead of swallow his pride and help with a solution on how they can do better. Don threatened to take us to court... Don tried to tell me that they came out TWICE the first time to clean our pool yet the total for that service was $125...less than 2 cleaning fees of $75 This company doesn't care about the customer they care about being right and the money. 25% clarity from start to finish. I did not have a good experience with this business. This was my first time using them…read more I called for service and was told they would have someone call me back. No one ever did. I called two more times before I could get someone to respond. They scheduled a time to come out, but did not show up. I called back, they rescheduled and on that day I was waiting all afternoon but they did not show. I called them and they said they were in Sherman, right by us, and that they could come on over. I had a pressure gauge to be installed on my pump. All they had to do was screw it in and look at our light in our pool to see why it was not coming on. They were at my home less than 15 minutes, screwed in the gauge and told me that I would have to upgrade to their $500 light fixture. I then later received a bill for $160.00 in the mail for labor. This has been a very frustrating attempt to establish a pool repair service for our pool. When I called to ask if the $160.00 was correct, they simply said yes and were not very nice about it, acting as if I was bothering them. They do not seem to care about customers or customer service. I would not recommend them.

The quality, attention to detail, expertise, advice and most importantly, delivery of commitments were second to none. Every aspect of the project was delivered on time and as expected. Even after our pool remodel and resurface project was completed, we had a few very small items that popped up and Darren jumped in and took care of things as if it was his biggest project. We had a $10 plug in our pump that broke off during a major freeze. Darren jumped in, called his supplier 5 minutes before they closed on a Friday for the weekend. I was able to run over and pick up the plug and get the pump running again within an hour of calling him. Without this our pool equipment would have frozen over and who knows the mess this would have caused. Darren and his team are worth every penny. The owner came out right away and gave us a price which was the going rate. I informed him it was just cut by another person and when asked to trim around a vehicle in the back area of the house he was rude and acted like I asked him to cut another acre. This is why I was looking for a replacement. The owner of Timberjack Steve was the person I had contact with. I had called Steve after he came out, a couple questions and he wanted to come back out again. This was not convenient for us to repeat. It's just mowing grass. So he never came out again or called the owner to reschedule. The home owner called him and after telling her to text him. He never got back to her. When I texted him he tried to tell me the whole we have to come look at it. I told him we already did that. He text me back and told me it wasn't him!! ‍ YES it was!! This guy is real nice but it just doesn't seem like they can get it together enough to take new customers. I finally responded maybe we should look somewhere else because it seems like you don't want the work he basically told me that would be best because he has to many tree jobs. Then do trees instead!!! Beware!!
