We finally resolved ourselves to the pair received and eventually received a refund. One year later I am finding that my new house is always filled with dust. Why? Well, today I discovered that the 4" round dryer hose is not fully attached to an oval-shaped vent. Aldridge jimmy-rigged the hose to stay semi attached, allowing dryer dust and air to escape into the laundry room and eventually throughout the house. I went to Home Depot and found the oval to round attachment. No more floating dust particles escaping from the dryer hose. Alldridge Allhome needs to provide better service.

Their answering system has a days old message about week before Christmas 12/19/22 closure. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at this place. They are probably okay for professional painters that know what to ask for & have no need for professional opinions. I went there because of buying paint for exterior & interior walls. Only problem with that experience was one question pertaining to ceiling paint. I asked them for their best ceiling paint & bought the only one they mentioned. Turned out it had a very pronounced gray tone & we had wanted a very bright flat white. For this I consider 1/2 my fault for not saying I wanted a white ceiling & not one with a gray appearance. Anyway it cost twice as much as it should have because all the ceilings had to be repainted. The reason I'm writing this review is for two reasons. First I asked them for an acrylic primer that would be the best one to use on new wood trim for doors & windows. I specifically mentioned that I wanted a sandable primer. They gave me PPG SEAL GRIP Interior/Exterior Acrylic Universal Primer/Sealer ( 17-921 ). After spraying the trim & letting it dry for five days, I tried to sand all the trim to make it smoother. After seven hours of trying to sand the trim to make it smoother I gave up. It was not 'sandable' to get a smooth surface. I had to scrape a few areas down to wood & then apply a lot of pressure to remove the primer over a large area to even approach a reasonable smoothness. Second reason When I went in to complain the manager was defensive & arrogant. He also belittled me because of the time I had spent on the internet researching the problem. "So you think you are an expert now because of looking at the internet" "Just because you read comments by professional painters doesn't mean they are right" etc..... He said all primers are sandable. I told him if they don't create a powder & they quickly gum up the sanding blocks. They should not be sold as a sandable primer (especially if it has detail like trim) I think because I was getting pretty upset he chose three gallons of a different primer & gave them to me. As he put the primer in the back of the car he just had to give me another "zinger" about my knowledge derived from the internet. Just for your information, my research indicates that the oil/solvent based primers are typically more sandable than the acrylic ones. Also if you want to use a really good sandable acrylic primer & don't mind paying a little more. Eurolux, C2, & XIM seem to be the one's favored for giving the best results. Finally today I called technical support for Pittsburg Paint. The person I talked to said the 'Universal' acrylic was not a good choice for trim & would result in the sanding media to be gummed up quickly. I suggested that they try to find a way to educate their retailers about which products are better suited for specific projects. Trim, walls, exterior, etc... Total cost to us, about 1/3 of the trim will have to be thrown away or used in low traffic areas. Three gallons of primer ( I won't use what they gave us ). About 20 hours of time more than what should have been required.

They are so much more than just flooring. The work they have done for me on two different houses has been top notch. I had two extensive remodels. One in Anna that we had just purchased earlier in the year and then one in Plano we moved out of. Shaun is my contact and project manager for Anna Flooring and design. He is amazing to work with. He always checks in with you during the project and makes sure the job is done right before sending you the final bill. He always personally checked the work that was being done and made sure that the people doing it fixed any issues. If there is a problem, he figures out how to fix it. That's the test of a great company. I would 100% hire them again. He even would bring me samples to choose from rather than having to go in myself. He has several different contractors he uses for different projects. They aren't just flooring, they can take care of most any remodeling or renovation needs you have. I had cabinets refinished, new plumbing run for a second sink in the master, new countertops and sinks, lighting, exterior doors, carpet, luxury vinyl, tile, drywall, and painting. Probably some other things I forgot. The work was so good I started adding more and more for them to do. All of the contractors were very good but two stand out. Mark and Jackie are a father and daughter team and let me just say wow. They did most of the drywall repair and painting, as well as miscellaneous things on my very long list. His long experience took into consideration a lot of the things that we found with wood and not matching supporting structures. He completely renovated two bathrooms and partially renovated my kitchen. Bathroom seem larger completely functional and absolutely beautiful. Well the quality of the work is very good one of the other things is that every day that he said he would be here he came at the time he said he would come. Professional reliability is extremely important. Every time we found something unusual it was discussed decisions were made as a team with his input as well as mine. Watching him transform these deteriorating bathrooms allowed me to develop a trust in his judgment. We used Floors Touch about 5 years ago for LVP installation. The floor panels look nice. That is…read morethe only positive I can provide. The installation job was sloppy at best. We have had issues with cracks, dents, separation, sub flooring, you name it. They came and made a few poor effort repairs but said we must have a water leak. Called a plumber-- no leak. We have also had our house inspected since then. No leaks. They just didn't want to own up to the shoddy install job and do what needed to be done to make it right. We are not having some painting done on our baseboards and the painter has commented that they were so poorly reinstalled after the flooring install. These people seem to care more about making a sale than doing a quality job. Their Google reviews are better than Yelp and that makes me think there's some in-store offer to leave a good review on Google. Don't use this place!
