When I began loading my vehicle, two workers picked up bad pieces from the pallet and wanted me to load them. I reminded them that the person that accepted my payment said I could select and load myself. They got mad when I refused to take their bad pieces (yellow grass and missing dirt). They had the nerve for reference my age as the reason why I was angry and persistent that I be allowed to select and load myself as they initially agreed at the point of sale.

We ordered A LOT (25 cubic yards) of compost for our property. When we went to use it, we realized the compost was nowhere near finished, and it hadn't been screened even once. Our compost was filled with large leaves, big sticks/twigs, and trash. At first, I really thought they accidentally gave us mulch. This is compost that's advertised as being ideal for top dressing lawns. I tried reaching out to Living Earth to come to a resolution, and I received no response despite multiple attempts. We'll be needing large amounts of compost at least 2x/year for lawn maintenance, and we'll certainly be getting it elsewhere moving forward.

It was my first time using this place, but they seemed nice enough when they delivered my hay. As the owner was leaving my property he said " when you get down to two bales give me a call so I can deliver more". I got down to two bales and called him as he had said ( keep in mind two bales lasts me roughly 3 days). I called him on a Thursday to inform him I was down to two bales and would need him to deliver by Monday at his convenience. He was very rude to me on the phone and said "yea, I don't deliver nymore especially just for ten bales cause it's not worth it." Keep in mind HE is the one that put the 10 bale MAX. I would have gladly bought more. Again he told me they can only do ten bales at a time. So let me get this straight? You only let us buy ten bales MAX but then you complain ten bales just isn't worth it? Keep in mind I also was paying him a hefty delivery fee and EVEN OFFERED MORE MONEY to deliver even though I am just down the road and he rudely said "no". The fact that I am offering up a solution to make it worth his while by giving him more money and he still won't take it just leads me to believe its laziness. Anyway, I was practically in tears because hay is hard to find here and I didn't want my horses to starve. I also told him he could have called me to at least warn me and give me time to find another provider (he had my number from when he delivered). Finally he says " I will give you a call Monday by 8:30am to see if just this once we can deliver since you are on the way of my liquid feed routes. Remember it's thursday and I only have 2 bales left, but I thanked him and said ok. Monday rolls around and it was 9:30am and still no call so icalled. He answered the phone and said " I don't know anything yet!! I will call you later in the afternoon!!". I explained that I was out of hay because he told me to wait til Monday and HE HUNG UP ON ME!! So I waited for him to call back and he never did!! That was my experience with the owner of this place. When did it become ok to treat your customers this way? What happened to people being kind? It's not like he was doing me a favor, I was paying him all his ridiculous fees for delivery and whatnot. I feel bad for others in the area who also relied on hay delivery.
