It was a good vibe here, we were already staying at Ponte Inn so they gave us free tickets to wine taste at their winery. I liked the wine, but I didn't enjoy the tasting experience as much because it was all standing. I definitely like their sister winery Bottaia more! The service was decent, there was a lot of people though so it did take a bit of time. read more

I had high hopes for Ponte, but unfortunately, it was a pretty disappointing experience overall. One major issue for me was their policy about babies--not allowing them at all, While I understand places might set age limits, allowing 21 and under but not babies feels inconsistent and unfair. What really rubbed me the wrong way was that this wasn't made clear **before signing up for a membership**. It's frustrating to commit without knowing such a key restriction upfront. The **members-only area** didn't live up to expectations either. It felt cheap and uninspired--definitely not the upscale vibe you'd expect for the price. The long lines didn't help, making the whole experience feel rushed and overcrowded. Service was underwhelming, with staff that weren't particularly friendly or welcoming, which only added to the negative vibe. Then there's the food. I was hoping for something close to the regular Ponte restaurant's quality, but what I got was a letdown. The dishes come in cheap takeout-style boxes and taste nowhere near as good as the main restaurant. The worst part? The prices were about the same, which just felt like a ripoff given the packaging and quality. Overall, Ponte didn't deliver on multiple fronts--especially when it comes to customer communication, atmosphere, and food quality. If you're considering membership, just be aware of the baby policy upfront and prepare for a subpar dining experience compared to their main location. Normally I don't leave 4 Star reviews for a restaurant where the server is rude, didn't really care that we were celebrating a birthday, and that we had to beg to be able to purchase a dessert but this winery is so beautiful.. Incredible views, well shaded outdoor area with misters and ceiling fans which summer to perfectly keep bugs away. We loved the food, we had a great time with a couple other guest tables who were very friendly to us. The cheese board is a fantastic and authentically local blend of cheeses, meats, olives, honey, nuts, and these strange yet delicious green things with a stem and a flavorful pouch filled with something spicy and crunchy (sorry, I just don't know what it's called but it was great!). I'd absolutely visit again. Just not with the waiter who served our table. read more

We had made a reservation a few hours before and arrived at 2:30. We were sat promptly in an amazing room with a large 9 person table. Service was great! I didn't run out of water at any point. Everyone loved their wine. I ordered the Caesar salad with steak kabobs. The salad was amazing and the flavor of the steak was very good, but there was a ton of fat in every bite that I was unable to swallow. The croutons though, by far the best! read more

We are currently staying at the Ponte for my husband's birthday I had booked this on July 3rd. I had added a few nice touches to the room such as rose petals and a flower arrangement The Ponte has a great staff. I was contacted a couple of times before our arrival to discuss flowers. I was so excited to surprise my husband with a getaway. Milestone Birthday We are staying here 4 nights. We did have a "little hiccup" on the room and the view I thought we were supposed to be getting. The front staff was extremely friendly and very polite about how to resolve this situation. Caitlin was amazing. She went above and beyond to help me. Thank you!! The room situation was resolved beautifully We did enjoy the tasting room with all of its charm and seasonal items to buy. There was live music on the back area of the tasting room. That was enjoyable. There was a tall friendly young man greeting and thanking patrons. He was great. We joined the Ponte Wine Club. We met fantastic people. Talked about wine and wine We are now Members The Cellar is very cool, it's a bar area to relax and enjoy sports Cozy and private. We had the Buffalo Chicken Flatbread and it was delicious. Pretzel knots were also good. Great service, once again. The grounds are beautiful here. The property is clean and organized. Vineyards are everywhere. This property is very Eco friendly and that is a plus for us. Don't forget that you are in the mountains and you may encounter a little fly/gnat/spider. Especially if you keep your room patio/balcony doors open. I'm so happy that I chose this Inn because my husband deserves everything he has been getting. I had the opportunity to spend some time today at Ponte winery and I felt very happy just by looking at the wondrous landscape and listening to the birds singing. It was truly joyful! What a nice jewel with fragrant roses everywhere. The gardens are so elegant and the hotel you would not think was built just in 2012, you feel like was there since the a Spanish revival style. Well done! Vineyards, olive trees, roses...this is the perfect scenario for a wedding for sure. Not sure if you can do picnics here, I saw the setting was more restaurants but no outside picnic tables for snacks you can buy at the gift shop for example. I have tried Ponte wines so many times, now it was time to know from where it came from! read more

Memorial day Sunday was overly crowded but fun. You almost have to fight over seating but people don't stay too so it rotates eventually. Another venue that allows pets which was nice, plenty of space just need to be patient. The food looked good didn't get a chance to try. We had the white wine which was nice, liked it better than their cabernet. Live music also a plus. You basically wait in a short line pick your wines and find a spot. Great for groups, we came with 8 and was just enough seating! read more

We came here as guests of some friends, who are wine club members. We did a wine tasting of sorts... by ordering a Three Varietal Flight at the restaurant, along with some individual selections. Our friends offered their ideas and everything turned out great. We chose the 2019 Sangiovese, 2020 Angry Wife Red (yes, that's the name), 2019 Bottaia Barbera, 2022 Chardonnay and 2022 Moscato. We shared, tasted and then decided to buy a bottle of the Sangiovese to take home. Mind you these aren't wines you would lay down or let age. But they are very drinkable and tasty. If you ever have a chance of doing this here at Ponte, I would certainly recommend it. read more

We visit Ponte Winery often and always look forward to dining at The Restaurant at Ponte. The setting is beautiful, especially when we sit outside in the shaded patio area surrounded by vineyards and gardens -- it's the perfect relaxing atmosphere. This time we ordered a delicious pizza paired with a nice side salad, followed by sorbet with fresh fruit for dessert. Everything was fresh and tasty. We also enjoyed a bottle of Pinot Grigio that paired perfectly with our meal. A big thank you to our server, Megan, She was incredibly helpful, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make our visit special. So much beautiful scenery. Had the pleasure of getting to photograph a surprise proposal. This winery is very special to the couple as it was Nick's late Mother's favorite winery where she was a member. Ponte has beautiful wine and their property looks like a mini getaway in Italy. Definitely a place worth visiting and spending some time. It was lovely. We came here for dinner and if happened to be a rainy day, so didn't get much chance to walk around the winery but heard it's one of the most beautiful ones in Temecula. The restaurant is mainly outdoor with cover and heaters, so the rain and the wind didn't bother us at all during dinner. We ordered the salmon cakes, Brussels spouts and mussels to share and all were fantastic. I ordered a halibut for dinner, but the passion fruit sauce was too sweet for me; overall, the dish was a little bland. But the ingredients was fresh though.... Desserts were all wonderful, we ordered pretty much one of everything on the menu and they were all very yummy without being too sugary. read more

Restaurant ambiance is super romantic, recommended to come during the evening. Reservations were packed so highly recommend placing reservation, seating is all outdoors but they have heaters. Service was a little slow at first since it took 10-15 min for our water and complimentary bread to come out. For food my fiance got the pizza ($23) , I got the bolognese ($30) and calamari ($22) appetizer to share. For drinks we got the 3 wine flight $20. Although initial service was slow food came out quickly. The wine was solid, pours were generous. Complimentary bread-was fluffy and fresh, the green sauce on side was bomb! (9/10) Calamari-fresh and good crunch, sauces were good but the calamari itself was salty (7/10) Bolognese-generous with meat, noodles were aldente but a bit too salty, good tomato flavor (8/10) Sausage Pizza-too much topping and bit too doughy (5/10) Some of the foods were hit and miss but the atmosphere is romantic and perfect for date night. read more

A friend of mine wanted to go to get some wine! Sooooooo being the planner that I am, we agreed on a date. A few days prior to the trip, I did a quick search on Temecula, and Ponte Winery pops up as the largest winery in Temecula. According to their website, Ponte Winery is surrounded by nearly 300 acres of mature vineyards. They have farmed their vineyards since 1984, opened winery in 2003, became innkeepers in 2012, and have become the benchmark for great service! My friends and I went for their Wine Tasting (6 tastings for $30 (1 ounce each)). My personal favorites are: - Super T2019 - Pinot Noir - 20th Anniversary Blend - Beverino Bianco - Port (Obviously!) - our host also had small pieces of chocolate on hand too! After the tasting, I had booked a reservation at the Restaurant at Ponte. I tried their Steak & Shrimp and my friends ordered their Beef & Risotto. And we ordered more wine obviously, our favorites from the Wine Tasting earlier in the day. Everything was perfect. Vibe was cool. On next trip, I will try again to see if we can get a wine tour, which I was unable to book for this trip. read more

It was very bland very boring. Nothing on the table. Nothing that would be reminiscent of a Christmas holiday. We enjoyed the scallops and the beet salad . I don't know if we would come back here. Wanted a white wine. They had a white pinot noir. Never had that before so I thought I would try it. It was a rose and sweet. I asked for a chardonnary instead which was fine. They did not charge me for the rose but my hackles were now up. Waiter said we will bring you bread. Bread was what a lot of trendy restaurants now do - a cross between pizza and bread. If I wanted pizza I would have ordered it. It had some weird oily green sauce with it. Whatever happened to crusty French bread and butter? The French are not stupid. I orderred salmon with linguine. It had lemon caper sauce which turned out to be full of butter and the linguine was swimming in it like a soup. I do not like butter or cream sauces and it would be nice if the menu said lemon caper butter sauce. Still, I did not ask what kind of sauce it was so my bad. The amount of sauce made the meal unappetizing. Still ambience was great and service was excellent. Manager asked me about the meal so I told him. He took it pretty well. I've been here a couple of times. Sitting outside in wine country is simply beautiful. The vibe is truly relaxing and peaceful. However, for me, the food just doesn't hit. It's ok, but it's not worth the hour drive for me. On the other hand, my husband is simply enamored with the food and would say 5 stars all the way. I got the seafood pasta this round and it was unfortunately really bland. The calamari was fried too hard. The bread may have been the best thing I ate, very tasty and loved that sauce. The cheesecake desert was also tasty. Service was good. Pro-tip: This place generally has a long wait, but you can go to yelp and hop on the waitlist. The reserve room was open for wine members only and we were stoked to have dodged the line and chaos from the main room to sip wine leisurely with the misters on and or enjoy AC. WARNING: check your bank accounts compared to your receipt. They overcharged me and did not amend the amount and after reaching out to their customer service with my proof, they ghosted me. From the moment we arrived at Ponte Winery in Temecula, we felt genuinely welcomed. The hospitality here is on another level, from the owners to the winemaker Arnaud and every single staff member we encountered, everyone made us feel special and cared for. We stayed one night at the hotel and it was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, elegant, and the perfect escape. Lunch and dinner at the restaurant were equally outstanding. The food was refined yet comforting, and of course the wines were fantastic. You can truly feel the passion behind everything they do. It's not just a winery, it's an experience. Kids are welcome. We brought our 2yr old. It really depends on age and what your kid needs to be entertained. There's a small grass area for kids to run around that he had fun with. No playground or anything though. Hope that helps

If you are looking for a winery that has an unprofessional, rowdy brewery atmosphere that attracts Entitled Stank Faced Boomer Temecula Wine Moms and their Snobby Little Cliques LOOK NO FURTHER, THIS IS YOUR PLACE. Our Experience: my Wife and I came over to sample some wines from this winery that was recommended from a friend. On the Winery Website, you can do 2 different types of wine tastings: Classic Tastings of 6 wines of your choice or a Private Wine Tasting of 8 different ones for a higher price. This is what initially attracted my Wife and I to this winery in the first place (big mistake on our end). Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that wine tasting is no longer being offered at all. The incompetent red haired bartender at the front entrance provided us with no other alternative other than "Yea we don't offer that anymore, you can do by the glass or by the bottle." Her tone changed completely when I asked her about the Club they advertise everywhere. She then tells us that they are booked for the day, however the BAR and LAWN area are open seating, after 8PM everything is open seating. It was 6:30/7PM so we decided by that point, we'll wait for a spot to open up and enjoy some wine then in the meantime. We figured, it's just the 2 of us so we should have luck finding a spot. At the bar area, I noticed that 3 seats were left unattended. The people there got up and left, no drinks were left behind or any "Reservation" placards were placed to notify people. I walk over, sit down and wave to my Wife to come and sit at the bar area. We sat down, sipped some of our wine for 10-15 minutes. Bar had 2 people working, a gentleman and heavier set Blonde lady. Both of them never said anything and nothing was ever exchanged between us and the heavier set Blond lady. I was even thinking about buying a beer or cocktail and thankfully I didn't. Shortly after this time, an EXTREMELY RUDE, ENTITLED, and VISIBLY DRUNK lady and her husband RUDLY went in between my Wife and I and COMMANDED we leave her spots. My Wife and I laughed at her and were genuinely confused because the BAR IS OPEN SEATING, THERE ARE NO RESERVATIONS FOR OPEN SEATING. She then gets even more angry and DEMANDS we leave or else, says to my Wife and I "YOU're GOING TO LEAVE NOW," I tell the lady to kick rocks, it's open seating then she enters the bar area to talk to the heavier set Blond bar tender that we wont move. The Blond bar tender THEN has the AUDACITY to tell us "They have been sitting here all night, YOU TWO need to leave immediately." My Wife and I look at each other and absolutely laugh it off at the sheer absurdity of everyone's tone towards us. Who do you think you are to blatantly kick us out ON OPEN SEATING? Either you are severely undertrained from the Owner or you as a staff member play favorites with other entitled customers. Both of which are absolutely absurd. Upon this interaction, my Wife and I leave and go right down the street to Europa Winery and sampled several wines and had a $250 dinner at Bolero. Here, the experience was a complete 180° and we should've never wasted our time at Miramonte Winery being subjected to the nastiness from the Temecula Trash. If you are a large party, or wanting to host private events, I STRONGLY recommend ANYWHERE else besides Miramonte Winery. The Staff here is atrocious, rude, immature and ugly. I pride myself in never leaving nasty reviews but this experience changed everything moving forward.

At one point, I accidentally dropped my glass of sangria and the wine glass shattered. Philip appeared almost instantly with a broom and took care of everything. Then, without me even asking, he asked what I had been drinking and went and got me a brand-new glass of sangria to replace it. When I thanked him, he simply said, "My pleasure," and you could tell he truly meant it. He genuinely seems to enjoy what he does and taking care of guests. That kind of service really stands out and made an already great event even more memorable. Great job, Europa, and a special thank you to Philip!

However, one of the servers was able to put another table at the end with extra chairs which was perfect. All of the staff provided excellent customer service and our server was on top of everything! We had a large group and she made sure to get us everything we needed and made sure to refill our water carafes since it was hot out. Not only was their service fantastic, but their food was also delicious! I ordered the mango habanero wings which were sweet and not too spicy, as well as their cajun fries. The fries were perfectly crisp and seasoned. My friends ordered pizzas and salads and they enjoyed their food as well. I will definitely come back here for the food and also try their wine!

No server in sight I look over to the bar no drinks. So I go up to the Hose stand to ask where our drinks are it appears there might've been a manager there, but they ran away. The host said where are you pointed at our table. Got our server. She came over to let us know that they were waiting on juice. We now have our second course and luckily our drink. I probably would've ordered another cocktail, but it was already 25 minutes into our meal. So I did order finally a glass of wine. To go with our paella. We had a tomato salad with that was lacking in flavor and very underwhelming. The paella comes we have the seafood one. It is hot. It is also overcooked, and I saw no calamari and we had very little seafood. I would say this was not the best paella I have had. Which is unfortunate as my friend kept saying this is the best she ever had when she had been there before. I asked her if she ever had been to café Seville. Where they have what I consider the best paella. But this is also Temecula so I really don't expect much from this area. We stopped at Ponte Winery for lunch after spending the morning exploring several wineries throughout Temecula, and it was the perfect place to slow down and soak in the beauty of wine country. After finding the restaurant, we were promptly seated on the outdoor patio. The restaurant is entirely outdoors, and honestly, I can't imagine it any other way. The grounds are absolutely stunning--lush landscaping, beautiful architecture, and an atmosphere that feels like something out of a dream. The estate is expansive, yet it still feels peaceful and inviting. The service was excellent from start to finish. We were welcomed with warm bread served alongside the most incredible aioli, which was so good we found ourselves reaching for "just one more bite" before our meals even arrived. I ordered the truffle mushroom pizza, and it was phenomenal. The flavors were rich without being overpowering, and every bite was absolutely delicious. My mom chose the salmon sandwich, which was unique and unlike anything we'd had before. It was a creative dish that was both flavorful and beautifully prepared. Of course, being at a winery, we couldn't leave without enjoying some of their wines. They offer an impressive selection, making it easy to find something you'll love whether you're a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply looking to relax with a glass during lunch. Between the exceptional food, attentive service, incredible wines, and breathtaking setting, Ponte Winery was everything we hoped it would be. It's the kind of place where you could easily spend an entire afternoon enjoying the scenery and taking your time. I look forward to returning on my next trip to Temecula to explore even more of the estate and sample more of their wines. read more

While the property is absolutely stunning, my 1 star review is mostly because of the rude staff. I was here over the weekend with my mother in law, who is a member of the winery, so we were lucky to be able to escape to the back patio that is reserved for members. Upon arrival, I was surprised to see the entire tasting room in the front of the property completely jammed with people with barely any breathing room. So my MIL and I went to the back of the property and began our tastings. I wasn't really in the mood to just "taste" some glasses of wine because after each tasting you had to get up and go to the tasting bar and wait in a long line for your next tasting. So I asked if I could simply purchase a glass of wine. The staff told me that this was not possible which was rather shocking to me. I inquired about purchasing a bottle of wine and then asking to open that, again NO. They said the only way I could actually enjoy a glass of wine uninterrupted was to dine at the restaurant. So I went and spoke with the hostess who let me know that there would be a 1 & half hour wait for a table. Mind you I asked at 3pm, not really peak dining time and there were plenty of open tables which I do understand may not have had an assigned waiter, but still 1.5 hours at 3pm. In the end we decided to leave without finishing our tastings and went down to Avensole Winery right down the road and had a wonderful time. Avensole Winery is as stunning a property as Ponte without all of the pompous attitude and rules. read more

BE WARNED!!! PONTE IS DELETING ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!! THEY WANT TO LOOK GOOD. I POSTED AN ACCURATE REVIEW OF MY EXPERIENCE AT THIS WINERY, AND RECEIVED AN E-MAIL THAT IS HAD BEEN DELETED! BELOW IS MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: Where should I begin?!?! This place is INCREDIBLY OVER RATED! They only care about signing up Wine Club Members so they can send them over-priced, awful wine each month. The cost to taste a few samples of wine is $15....way more expensive than other wineries in the area. The wine servers are so busy that they don't spend any time explaining the wine samples to you unless you are interested in their Wine Club. They quickly pour you a sample and move on. Horrible customer service! While waiting to eat lunch at the cafe, we noticed several employees were goofing off during a wedding. If I were getting married there, and paying for quality service, I would be very disappointed in the level of professionalism by their employees. Everything here is expensive...the gifts (you can find the same crap at Ross for half price), the wine (come on...$40 for a bottle of red wine???), their cafe (and so not worth the wait!), and the wine tasting. Save your money and go someplace else, where the customer service is friendly, and they actually care! read more

I just stayed 2 nights at Ponte with 2 friends celebrating a 40th birthday. We were underwhelmed with the entire experience. When we got to the hotel to check in my hands were full with my bags. The front desk clerk asked for my ID and I asked if there was a cart somewhere I could put my stuff down on. He told me there might be some outside, otherwise they were out. It seemed so strange to me that he wouldn't grab it seeing as our hands were full. Then we got to our room and there was only 2 wine glasses and 2 of everything even though the reservation was supposed to be for 3. I made the reservation over the phone and when I got the emailed confirmation I noticed it said 2 people I called back and made sure they knew there was 3 of us. We ate brunch at their restaurant on Sunday and the hash browns came out cold and my friend had an entire egg shell in her Benedict. They remade her dish and didn't charge but the new dish was made so quickly they didn't even toast the English muffin. We didn't want to send a plate back twice so she just ate it. But we all thought our food was so lacking and the prices are high. The price is too high for the level of quality. There was no wow factor and when they are charging those prices that's what I would expect. read more

At first they tried to seat us outside on tall top tables that would not work for wheel chairs. We were then moved to the way outback corner of the property with filtered shade and some misters. No help arranging table and chairs. Meanwhile they never offered to seat us in the air conditioned space when they could have easily accommodated our group. We then discovered that there are no food servers-you have to order food at the bar and then someone eventually delivers it in phases. Plastic hardware, condiment packages. There are MUCH better places to enjoy in Temecula.

There was at least 1 or 2 wines that we really liked, but it was our 3rd stop and we had to travel home with 2 other bottles of wine, so we ended up leaving with a bottle of the marinera sauce because it was that good.
