    Scallop

CUTEST PLACE EVER! I miss this restaurant so much. After looking hours for a place to eat that's either not too crappy and cheap or too painfully expensive, we found Pomze. Cute, homey like venue with live piano music in the background. This place is all about incorporating surprises in their dishes especially with apples. I thought they succeeded in mixing various flavors with a hint of Apple! We got the fixed price of 3 orders on the menu (1 appetizer, entree, and dessert). I ordered the scallop appetizer, beef, and raspberry cheesecake. Not gonna describe the taste because there's no point but they were A+!!!!! (see pictures for more deets). I loved our servers. They were all extremely nice and accommodating and let us try several ciders before selecting one to drink and take home. And yes, the ciders were delicious! :)

The foie gras as an appetizer- this was the best dish of the House. Had great flavor with a apple jam- delicious. They gave us an amuse bouche of apple slice, blue cheese and scallion on a crostini- good but apple wasn't crisp, which is sad being apple is the signature note of each dish or so I thought. I had the duck and squash as a main, which was disappointing, it had a thyme cream sauce which I've only had with fish and really ruined the dish for me. The duck was a little tough even at medium rare...didn't love. There was no one there on a Friday night..maybe 3 other people but the service was good.

Excellent last minute decision on my part to go here. The dishes all have apples incorporated in it and they can come accompanied with a cider. I had the apple curry lamb, which was fantastic. Next time I'm in Paris, I'm coming here again.

One of the finest meals I have ever had in my life. The theme of the restaurant is apple and it is infused from the homemade cider to the apple butter to the grilled apples with lamb and the tarte tatin

Well done with the apple theme! There's a subtlety of the apple concept in every dish that isn't over bearing. Not to mention the apple cider that is processed champagne style. The scallop was great, the mash potatoes had me in awe, and love the Tarte Tartin. Great meal with ease of friend's living room atmosphere.

Simply put one of the finest dining experiences my wife and I have ever had. From the service, to the atmosphere, to the attention to detail and most incredibly to the intricacy and abundance of flavor of every dish this was a meal we'll never forget. Mere words don't do this Michelin worthy establishment justice.

This was what they brought to us before our starter. It was some kind of veggie purée.

Great food! We were looking for a place that was fancy and it was! We loved the apple juice and all five of us loved what we ordered! The staff was also very friendly.

We found Le P'tit and when we inquired if they would serve us they said yes if we ordered immediately. It was a few minutes after ten. We ordered at the bar then were seated at our tables. The waitstaff were incredibly nice. They brought whatever we needed including ketchup which, despite being American, we didn't want or need. :) The food was delicious. I had an almost perfect poached egg -just a little too cooked. They had a fair amount of vegetarian options for the person in our party to get a decent meal: eggs, salad and beignets de mozzarella, which I hate to burst your bubble in advance, is a very French and more appealing way to say Mozzarella sticks. They were still good for the record. Perhaps everyone should call them that and aim for that level of taste. Fried just right and a fair amount of cheese. I ordered the duck legs-no complaints there. It was tender and the side of potatoes weren't the top of my list for the evening but there was more than enough of them to share with others. The chocolate fondant was voted best dessert by the table. It won no contest. I'm glad we stopped in for an authentic food experience.

This place was okay, located in the Paris area yet somehow not very accommodating to tourists? So weird. Anyways, my friend and I came in here after a day of traveling and were starving. We wanted something light and decided to try the cheese that everyone talks about, and it was pretty decent. The prices were a bit wild (like everything else in Paris), but I guess that's what we get for stopping into the first place we saw on the street. The menu is pretty eclectic, so don't expect to stop in here with children and be able to get a grilled cheese and fries, it's more of that stuff that people in America eat when they come into some wealth and acquire a new money accent (you know the type).

We booked over the phone while on the Bateaux Mouches river tour as we were tired and hungry after a day of sightseeing and we wanted a neighborhood bistro for great unpretentious food where we could stagger back to our beds around the corner after. It was late when we arrived but the bistro was still bustling, our server was super friendly and the food came super fast, which was great as we were ravenous by then! We ordered what was probably one of the cheapest bottles of red wine on the menu but it was so much better than anything we pay twice the price for at home... because hey we're in France, right? Excellent food, friendly people, great service - couldn't ask for more, go there! Side note: walking past next day on way to the metro we were in need of a bathroom and the barman was so nice to let me use theirs even tho I'd just walked in off the street: I made sure after to thank him for the amazing dinner night before so he knew I'd been a customer and most important, the loos were nice and clean (again not the standard in much of Paris!) which was great as you know what they say about clean toilets = a clean kitchen!

A huge dose of fresh cracked pepper was in order, and on the creamy shallot sauce as well. The thick wedge fries were quite good, but I never turn away a fried potato.
