Le Hide is a dinner only restaurant open from 6:30-11pm located near Arc de Triomphe. The French likes to eat late compare to U.S. I highly recommend making reservations as this is a smaller restaurant like limited tables. We came on a Thursday night and it was packed with customer waiting outside. For Appetizer, we had to get the Foie Gras because we are in Paris, which is a French delicacy. Portion was very generous and it paired with an orange/citrusy sweet marmalade, which offset the strong flavor of Foie Gras. The crispy brick crab reminds me of a Indian samosa but stuffed with crab filling - very good! My fav was the Escargots, traditionally version. It was served out of the shell in a puff pastry that almost taste like a pop over. It was so unique and delicious. For Entrée, I had the duck breasts with sweet & sour sauce that was addictingly good. My sister had the lamb shoulder. It was fall-off the bone tender meat. I didn't like the dessert. The apple torte was very tangy/sour. The ice-cream helped but it wasn't what I had expected. Service was excellent!

Have dined at this restaurant several times over the years, always enjoyed the delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommend if you are looking for a low key place with superb food.

I was near the Arch de Triumph and was looking for an authentic French restaurant and came across Le Hide which had great reviews. It did not disappoint! Even as I was standing outside reading the menu I had three people pass by who said I've ate there and it's great. That was the final push to get me through the door. The ambiance is nice, the staff is great and are very patient considering I don't speak French. They do have the menu in Wnglish which was helpful. I ordered the Rabbit as a starter- delicious! It was my first time so I can't exactly rate it. It was soft and honestly I felt like I was eating shredded beef. The mustard sauce was tasty and the bacon on top was a thick cut which had a little too much fat for my taste. For the main course I had the duck in apricot which was very tasty! My mom had the beef tongue with mashed potatoes. The meat was very tender. Both dishes were full of flavor and quite savory. The food is very reasonably priced. The couple next to us order the Sea Bass and that looked amazing. Definitely give this place a try.

Wonderful atmosphere, food, and service! Even though we are visiting from America, the staff was courteous and assisted my aunt and me on a journey of french food. The pan seared foie gras was perfect temperature and the white wine was an excellent pairing! Then for the main dish my aunt had the scallops with potatoes and I had the beef stew with risotto. We had to leave quickly and the staff helped us be served quickly so that we would make our bus back to our hotel. 5 Stars all the way!

My mom and I had a lovely dinner at Le Hide last week. The staff did not speak much English and unfortunately we do not speak much French, but the service could not have been friendlier. I had a starter, entree, and dessert - each item was better than the next! My dessert was some sort of chocolate mousse with flaky dough and it was amazing. My mom loved her duck and said this was the best meal she had the entire week we were in Paris. I'd highly recommend Le Hide!

Absolutely amazing! We are staying at a nearby hotel and on our first walk we bumped into it. It was closed but it caught my eye. Thankfully I made reservations for the same night and I was not disappointed! In fact we are thinking of booking this place for another night! Delicious food, friendly staff French vibes!

I've tried this place twice now and have been impressed by the quality of the food and service both times! They also have a wonderfully curated French wine list with a region map. It is a quaint restaurant with less than ten tables. I would recommend a reservation or to arrive right as it opens to get a seat. Be prepared to spend 2 plus hrs on dinner here, trust me it's worth it.

Lamb, 27€, meat was tender, flavorful

Took a long while for food to come. There was only one server. Friendly staff. Small restaurant. The taste of the food made up for the wait. Highly recommend the duck meat.

These smaller bistro type eateries are the lifeblood of the local cuisine. They consistently offer reasonably priced dishes that are full of flavor and technique. The wine and drink options are well catered to the menu and they provide options for most price points. The service we experienced was exactly what you want... our server had plenty of suggestions based on the offerings of the day. The service was attentive and responsive... not much more than you could ask for. I had the duck breast being offered... it was served alongside crispy potatoes, green beans, and a salad. Adding in the onion soup and a glass of wine... it quickly became a King's dinner at a very reasonable price. I would be more than happy to eat here again and look forward to exploring the rest of the menu offering many local and classic French options.

Like others have said, it's super small inside, so you'll get to know your neighbors really well. But your attention will be more focused on the food they bring out. I had the lamb with thyme sauce and my wife had the confit duck leg. Don't be afraid to pick the sauce of the day over the regular honey sauce. The sauce of the day on the day we went was a blackberry sauce which was crazy good. With a bottle of wine at 24 euros and both entrees under 20 euros, you couldn't really beat a meal of that quality in many places around Paris for that price. It was only after I ate at Le Potager did I see it had a bunch of great reviews on Yelp. It's definitely earned all those stars.

We found Le P'tit and when we inquired if they would serve us they said yes if we ordered immediately. It was a few minutes after ten. We ordered at the bar then were seated at our tables. The waitstaff were incredibly nice. They brought whatever we needed including ketchup which, despite being American, we didn't want or need. :) The food was delicious. I had an almost perfect poached egg -just a little too cooked. They had a fair amount of vegetarian options for the person in our party to get a decent meal: eggs, salad and beignets de mozzarella, which I hate to burst your bubble in advance, is a very French and more appealing way to say Mozzarella sticks. They were still good for the record. Perhaps everyone should call them that and aim for that level of taste. Fried just right and a fair amount of cheese. I ordered the duck legs-no complaints there. It was tender and the side of potatoes weren't the top of my list for the evening but there was more than enough of them to share with others. The chocolate fondant was voted best dessert by the table. It won no contest. I'm glad we stopped in for an authentic food experience.

This place was okay, located in the Paris area yet somehow not very accommodating to tourists? So weird. Anyways, my friend and I came in here after a day of traveling and were starving. We wanted something light and decided to try the cheese that everyone talks about, and it was pretty decent. The prices were a bit wild (like everything else in Paris), but I guess that's what we get for stopping into the first place we saw on the street. The menu is pretty eclectic, so don't expect to stop in here with children and be able to get a grilled cheese and fries, it's more of that stuff that people in America eat when they come into some wealth and acquire a new money accent (you know the type).

L'atelier des Batignolles - Delicious steak frite: juicy, perfectly cooked steak and gorgeous fries... salad beautifully dressed. Excellent, reasonably priced wine. Go!

We booked over the phone while on the Bateaux Mouches river tour as we were tired and hungry after a day of sightseeing and we wanted a neighborhood bistro for great unpretentious food where we could stagger back to our beds around the corner after. It was late when we arrived but the bistro was still bustling, our server was super friendly and the food came super fast, which was great as we were ravenous by then! We ordered what was probably one of the cheapest bottles of red wine on the menu but it was so much better than anything we pay twice the price for at home... because hey we're in France, right? Excellent food, friendly people, great service - couldn't ask for more, go there! Side note: walking past next day on way to the metro we were in need of a bathroom and the barman was so nice to let me use theirs even tho I'd just walked in off the street: I made sure after to thank him for the amazing dinner night before so he knew I'd been a customer and most important, the loos were nice and clean (again not the standard in much of Paris!) which was great as you know what they say about clean toilets = a clean kitchen!
