Had asked for extra gravy and had my eggs over easy. The potatoes tasted like they were made from scratch. Everything was very delicious and there was so much food. My friend had French onion bowl with cheese. Definitely recommend to get the cheese and it is melted on the side of the bowl. Cutest breakfast/brunch spot in a corner of a strip mall. We came in for breakfast and decided to get lunch. We started with a cup of French onion soup that was included with your order. If you love French onion soup this one is very good. Great flavor, lots of cheese but I would have liked the onions sautéed more. Even with that said, we'd order again. My husband had a burger which was a great size but way overcooked to being dry. I had the Malibu chicken which had no dressing or mayonnaise, cooked to well done on a just passable croissant. Saturday a.m. @ 9:15. No wait. Promptly greeted and seated. Ordered coffee to start. Was offered flavored creamer, and coffee urn was left on table. Absolutely love restaurants that do this. Ordered chicken and waffles, and hubby had veggie omelette. Food came pretty quickly. Omelette was piping hot...waffle was cold (chicken was nice and hot). So here's the glitch. Our server, Linda, who was very nice, delivered our food and our check at the same time because she had to "step out" for a bit. She told us Sean would check in with us. He did not. So I was unable to send my waffle back to get heated up. By the time our server returned, we were almost done. I did not complain or make a scene, but this was not acceptable. Both entrees were delicious. I loved the chili syrup that accompanied my waffle. Had it been hot, it would have been even more amazing. The Oreo pancakes were not too sweet but had plenty of Oreo taste. The chicken waffles were amazing! The waffles were perfectly crispy on the inside but fluffy on the outside. The chicken tenders were crispy, not greasy, and had very tender chicken inside. Nice little family type restaurant that is very busy during the breakfast hours on the weekends. On this date it was during the week and very quiet in there. The parking is free and right on sight in front and in the back. We were greeted by a very nice lady who also our server. They have a very extensive adult beverage menu including several Mimosas. The choice made on this day was a pomegranate mimosa which was enjoyed. We ordered several things made differently than they were on the menu and they were fine with it and they were made perfectly. The omelet was made with half egg whites and half whole egg. The Hawaiian omelet was ordered to be made as a skillet. The Hawaiian was supposed to have ham, bacon and pineapple however it had very little meat or pineapple so if you are wanting to taste the pineapple you will be disappointed. The Eggs Benedict was good except the Canadian bacon tasted more like ham than Canadian bacon and the poached egg was very over cooked, the yolk was not runny, it was just softish. I opted for the lunch menu instead of the breakfast menu and I probably should have done breakfast. I had the gyro sandwich and I have to say that I didn't care for the meat on the gyro that much. It felt a little dry. It came with fruit salad and a french onion soup. The soup was delicious - especially since I paid a $1 to add cheese to the top. That was the saving grace for me. Came here on a Sunday morning. They were pretty busy. Service was very friendly. Only hiccup was they had tons of tables outside (where we requested to be seated) yet they made us and others wait 10 minutes to be seated. We ordered brunch for delivery on a Thursday morning and received our order in just under an hour. I was really pleased that the coffee we ordered was still very warm and the fruit side was really fresh and delicious. Other highlights of our order were the chicken and biscuit with a side of sausage gravy and the California style omelet with avocado.
