On behalf of the PTA at Prairie Children Preschool, we partnered with Asada Mexican Grill to cater our Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week luncheon, and the experience was outstanding. We ordered the buffet-style package, which worked perfectly for accommodating a variety of dietary needs, including vegetarian, gluten-free, and halal options. The pricing was extremely fair for the amount and quality of food we received. We ordered double portions to serve 118 people, and the setup filled four rows of tables, as shown in the photo. The order came with everything we could have needed. I worked directly with the owner, Sharif, who was incredible throughout the entire process. His communication was excellent, he helped recommend the best options for our specific needs, and he was very understanding of the limited lunch breaks our teachers and staff had. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. Even with the generous portions, everything was gone quickly because everyone loved it. Sharif truly went above and beyond with both the quantity and service. Next time, I'll definitely plan to order even more because it was such a hit. It also means a lot to support a local business owner who has children in District 204. That community connection made the experience feel even more personal and meaningful. read more

A Halal Restaurant Posing as a Mexican Restaurant. The only thing Mexican themed here is the name of the place. You want Falafels?! You got it! You want Tamales or Chorizo? Forget it! I truly had high hopes for this establishment when I saw the sign. Once I walked inside and took one look at the menu board, I knew this wasn't going to be a good experience. Asada has an extremely limited menu and the food is crappy. I ordered tacos to go and ended up throwing them out after a couple of bites. I can't seek about the Halal food, however, Taco Bell serves better tacos than this joint. The staff also looked "less than thrilled" to be working that night. The only thing going for this place is that the establishment has a large, comfortable dining room. Plenty of other Mexican restaurants in the Fox Valley area to go to than this. read more

This is the best Mexican food I have ever eaten, the burritos are 9.6/10, the steak tacos are 10/10, the nachos are 9.4/10, they serve as many chips as you want, great fries and rice and beans, the food is always hot and fresh. I have passed by this restaurant on 75th on the NW corner of 59th. The restaurant is cute and slightly decorated in the Mexican theme. I ordered 3 tacos (birria, steak and chicken) plus the rice and beans. The birria was very good. The steak was tasty and not chewy, and the chicken also very tasty. Good seasoning! The rice and beans were also good. The guacamole had more than just avocado! You order at the counter, no waitresses, no tip add on, reasonably priced. We were fortunate to try out the new Asada on its second day of opening. I love Mexican food, and this place offers a fully halal menu. It's located at the corner of 75th St & Route 59 in a small strip mall adjacent to a larger plaza. The interior of Asada is large and looks amazing. They did a great job with the tables, chairs, and decor. We ordered fish tacos, chicken tacos, and a steak burrito. The taco dishes include 3 tacos by default, and each dish includes complimentary tortilla chips. Of course, they also included salsa, both the red and green varieties. You also get to choose between corn and flour tortillas for the tacos. We went with corn tortillas for both, but in hindsight should have selected flour for one set of tacos. I'm not a huge taco person, but the fish tacos were pretty good; the fish was nicely seasoned, though perhaps a bit too salty. The fish tacos had red cabbage and avocado, which is nice. The chicken tacos were okay; the fillings for this included corn and diced tomatoes, not the most exciting of toppings. The burrito was excellent. It was filled with ingredients like beans, rice, and sour cream. It was flavorful, but I would have liked more meat. I definitely prefer burritos to tacos, but would love to try the bowl next time. The horchata drink also sounds interesting. Overall, a nice meal. Each dish we ordered cost $11.99, which seems reasonable. The food took about 12 minutes to come out. Service was good. read more

Well, if I hadn't been so famished I could have snapped a picture but I just dove right in! I was in the mood for tacos! After trying the steak, chicken and fish, I'd really like to try the barbacoa, too! The fresh guacamole is what made everything better! It was delish! Now, I'm not a big fan of spicy so the rice and black beans were fine for me, with really no hint of heat...if you like spicy there were red & green salsa options on the table. Tried Asada Mexican Grill and had a really good experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant itself was very clean and well kept. The service was quick without feeling rushed, and everyone was attentive and polite. The food was the highlight -- especially the birria tacos. They were flavorful, juicy, and clearly made fresh. 5 star. phenomenal burrito. I got the shrimp burrito, it tastes better than all the other places and affordable. It also came with free chips and sala (To go), and all the workers were kind. This is my go to for burritos now, fuck other places. The rice in the burrito tasted really good too, it's the perfect rice, it's not simple brown or white rice like chipotle, I think there's seasoning. And there was a perfect amount of lettuce unlike that one burrito place I went to one time. I feel misled by the many yelp reviews for this Mexican restaurant. Yelp users give the most positive comments for this type of eatery in the neighborhood. I ordered a couple of steak meals that were dissapointing and a seafood taco meal. All three tasted like generic meals with ingredients sourced and prepared by a fast-food chain. The steak consists of tiny, overcooked pieces if meat the size of peas. The beans and rice were also cold and lacked flavor as if they were prepared earlier in the day. The staff are friendly but that doesn't make up for the generic, overpriced, lackluster dining experience. Mexican food can be so delicous and satifying. I wish peaple living in this Naperville/Aurora area would raise their standards so that other yelp users can better rely on their experiences for guidance. read more

The food, the carne Asad burrito we ordered was $11:99 which not the worst case of this burrito. It is a very small in portions cut in 2 filled overly with beans and a sprinkle of carne. We also ordered the 3 taco dinners for $12.99 got all chicken tacos . Again the were super small portion size tacos for Around $4.50 each. The green and red hot sauces wasn't all that.
