I was so excited to see a new nail salon pop up in my neighborhood. Until I went for the first time, not a very welcoming environment at all. The nail ladies seem so Un professional as if they do not know what they are doing. Service that day was so bad some lady walked out without paying! I went for a full set white tip acrylic and a pedi. The ladies could NOT find the white tips so she wanted to attempt to draw the white lines.. I said no and they finally found the white tips after 20min. At first my full set was $19 by the time she was done she decided to change it to $25 I was so pissed! I left without giving either lady a tip because they are rude and don't have it all together. Definitely will not be returning.. I don't see this place lasting very long. I also noticed that they do not have any cosmetology licenses up for display at every station as they should be. Definitely a RED FLAG! read more

I've been going to this place since they opened in Pico, & have never had any problems with their work until recently. I had asked for matte gel with a design. Less then two days after, the gel matte coat was peeling off & taking the design with it along with chipping, When I had went back to ask for them to fix it about 5 days after they told me they have a 3 DAY guarantee on their gel polishes and her way of fixing it is to just reapply another coat of matte top coat... when the matte is what the problem is. I've never heard of any nail salon with only a 3 day guarantee on GEL POLISHES. They blamed me using my hands a lot when The only job I have is being a mom. Won't be returning. read more

After posting my first review of this nail salon I was messaged by the owner who asked if I could return so they can fix my chipped nails, which was a very nice gesture. So I returned exactly one week from my first visit. The salon was not too busy so I was seated quickly. This time I chose a different color (lavender blue) just in case that particular polish was the problem. This time she only put 2- 3 coats of gel nail polish as opposed to 4-5 like last time. Also, she made sure to paint the edges, which I don't remember her doing last time. Anyway I just wanted to mention the great customer service. Horrible service. They take too long here! I get that it's busy but they have about 9-10 employees on a busy day so I just don't understand how it can take that long. Today I arrived at 6pm and by 8pm they had just done my toes and hadn't even started on my nails yet which is ridiculous!! I had to leave without getting them done and they didn't apologize or anything. Also, if you say no to manicures, callus scrubs, etc. They treat you differently. When I chose the color I wanted the lady was like "no no that's too light" "too clear" for you but I know my skin tone and how colors look on me. When she put the color on it was a very visible pink. So I decided to come here because of the advertised discount for the grand opening. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. Everything is brand spanking new so it's nice, clean, and obviously microbe free. I paid $26 for my gel manicure and regular pedicure since they had their promotion going on. Obviously everyone has different experiences, but some of these Yelp reviews make me questions their validity. I got my nails done 4 weeks ago today and my nails have kept up very nicely. The nail tech clearly did a great job with how well they've stayed intact. I got a piece of lint stuck to my nail while they were under the UV light and I was hesitant to say anything because I tend to be shy, but the nail tech insisted on fixing it and reassured me it wasn't an issue. Also, I had seen 2 ladies talking up a storm and being the eavesdropper I am, I asked, "do you guys know each other" and the jolly customer said, "no! We just met" but it seemed like they were so into their conversation. Turns out she was talking to the owner. Clearly the owners care about their customers and top notch customer service. It just seemed like a very genuine conversation between the two. As I mentioned, everyone has their own experiences, but go and have your own so you can give a new local family business a shot at thriving. Will not be coming back. The salon was not busy but all nail techs rushed through manicure and pedicure for my group. All of our pedicures were less than a mediocre experience. My feet barely even touched the water for a few minutes to soak. The nail tech then stuck the nail clippers too far under my toenail and drew blood. I chose a regular acrylic set for my hands afterward. This other tech was visibly annoyed, sighing very loudly and hurt every single one of my fingers. I told her she was being too rough but she seemed more focused on finishing quickly and continued to burn and scrape my fingers roughly. She didn't even bother to clean cuticles. The nail polish is visibly uneven and I have developed a rash - something I will be monitoring closely. Hopefully I will not have to report salon to the health department in the near future... horrifying. read more

This past weekend I went in to get a pedicure and came out with an infection. The nail technician cut to deep on my pedicure and ended up causing a deep ingrown. Recently I came to get my nails done here. I got some acrylics before going on a trip. The acrylics looked great but took about 2 hours to get. I went back a few weeks later to take off the acrylics and they left my nails looking horrible. The person taking off my acrylics kept telling me she took them off when there was still a thick layer left. She shaved off my skin on 4 fingers and she left my gel looking terrible. A client of hers came in and she rushed me off before my nails dried so that she can get to her client. She also kept insulting the fact that I wanted black gel and would call people over to look at my nail color selection and laugh. Lastly, she left my hands peeling and did not bother asking if I wanted oil or lotion to help with the peeling from the acetone on my hands. Rude and disrespectful. read more

Originally my shape was stiletto and the nail technician shaped them roundish. Asked for matte & it's like a dull regular polish. I've done matte @ other nail places it's beautiful and actually matte. I gave up on her since it seemed she had never done a set before. I've been here a couple of times and the techs were really nice. But the last time was a horrible experience. I went to just get a gel polish change (I had a manicure 6 days before at Bella's Spa in Monterey Park) the tech Amy was trying to tell me I HAD to get a mani. I refused, I just needed a color change. Well 5 nails chipped in 4 days. I called and spoke to owner Yvonne and she said to come in and they would fix it. I go in and the only tech there was Amy the one who did my color change. She had the worst attitude telling me my nails chipped because I didn't get a full manicure. I told her I shouldn't have to get a manicure if I just had one! After going back and forth with her she basically wouldn't fix my nails unless a manicure was done first. Against my better judgement I got the manicure (which she charged me for!) because she swore my nails chipped because it had to be done. I called to speak to Yvonne about the matter and she basically didn't want to hear it. Well here it is not even a week later and my gel polish chipped/lifted again! So her "manicure first" theory was proven false. I've been getting gel polish for a long time and have always had them last a least 2 weeks. read more
