Fair warning, if your new to the lash experience be prepared for service to take an hour and they provide a pillow to prop up your legs while you lay down and a blanket if you get cold. Tell them exactly what you are looking for and they can walk you through options. I love how professional they are and from what I've experienced from other places I regret they actually have the most reasonable prices. I encourage you to give them a try as well and there is a discount for new clients I believe but I don't remember now.

I explained my previous experiences and very proud and confident said " well that won't happen here". I thought well we will see about that. lol Well here I am so excited to say my eyelashes are beautiful, exactly what I wanted. I forget that I even have them until somebody compliments them. I definitely recommend this place and I will be coming back in two weeks for my fill.

The fact that this thousand square-foot place was basically empty should've been my first sign. My appointment was at 4 pm. She didn't complete the appointment she previously had until 4:45. When I asked the owner and her staff what the hold up was, she kept telling me she was almost finished. 45 minutes later I finally started my pedicure. When I checked in, no one notified me she would be running late. They have pedicure menu options upwards of $75. Laughable. My gel pedicure was $75. I asked my pedicurist to do my pedicure with hot water. They had no hot water. THEY HAD NO HOT WATER!!!!! So my entire pedicure was done in cold water. I let the owner know and she said it was because they have been doing head spas all day. Again, laughable. My pedicurist insured me that she was going to give me a discount. At this point, I didn't care I just wanted to be finished. When I go to pay, the lady at the cash register hands me a gift card for $10. I asked her what that was for and she said that was my discount. I said why the hell would I want a gift card for $10? The service you provided was terrible. Why would I wanna come back here and how is this at all the compensation for waiting 45 minutes and then having to do a pedicure in cold water? She then said she could take five dollars off of my treatment. I just hugged my lady and told her to call me when she's left this place, left after paying, and will never look back. This business won't last long. Not even the people who live in this area should accept this kind of quality.

She appeared defensive and, at one point, spoke to a colleague in another language during the appointment. While I want to assume she was asking for help, the lack of transparency made me uncomfortable and unsure of what was being said. After the "fix," the lashes looked even worse -- very heavy and spiky, giving a tarantula-like appearance. When I expressed concern, I was told this was the "doll look," and that the reference photo I showed (from the company's own website) was different because it was a cat-eye shape and the model had different eyes. This was confusing, as I've had similar styles done successfully by other lash technicians in the past. Overall, it was disappointing to see lash styles advertised that the technician didn't seem comfortable or experienced executing, and even more disappointing that this wasn't acknowledged. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

However, she still recommended doing a chemical peel and because I'm not that educated in skin treatments I proceeded with her recommendation. About a week later after my facial, I I noticed 2 burn marks on my face, which I assumed were from the chemical peel. While one healed, one has still not gone away, and this is a facial I received late in December 2025. I went back a month later and asked the technician(different one) what the mark was. She said it was like acne post mark because of too much exfoliation with both the dermaplane and chemical peel . She said it should fade away and recommended me one of their expensive skin resurfacing products. I did not buy it and this was my last visit here. 3 months later, I still have this mark on my face so I have an appointment with the dermatologist soon. I would still recommend this place for maybe the basic $70 facial, it's pretty cheap and worth the money. I do not recommend any other special services because it seems some of the technicians may not be as educated and it's not worth messing up your skin.

Never coming to this place again I do not like when the nail tech told me one thing and then charged differently. It is a very predatory tactic. Highly disappointed with my experience. Also for me they put something on my feet and it burned. One of my toes was left with a burn mark. The nail tech also didn't really understand English so it took her awhile to take off the product so I had to dip my foot inside so I wouldn't burn the rest of my toes.

To say I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism and responsibility at this nail salon is an understatement. I came here to get my pedicure done and was scratched and cut by Cindy when she used a buffer for nails on my skin to get nail polish residue off instead of using acetone. This was after my nails were done and initially felt the roughness but did not say anything as I was moved to a nail station to begin my manicure. While getting my manicure I felt some burning and pain on my feet but hoped it was only irritated. After coming home I immediately returned to the salon with my husband, I am 4 months pregnant and was scared that this would become infected and harm my health and my baby's health. We spoke to the manager Mike and the Owner Jenny and they needed to "look" at the cameras as Cindy denied using a buffer on me and said she never did that. After about 25 min they returned to show me she used a yellow sponge on the bottom of my foot and I asked them to if they had watched the video in it's entirety as I mentioned earlier she did this after my pedicure was complete. They went back and reviewed the video to come back and say that what she used was a buffer and my skin was only irritated and they would not refund me my money because of this and would give me 20 dollars off my next visit. Why would I come back? We went back and forth and ultimately they told me because my feet were just "irritated" that if it became worse the next day to come back. The night of I could not sleep because my feet hurt and would burn when I rubbed them along my bed sheets. We went back the next morning as you can see that this was more than just irritation and we were told to call the manager or the owner because they would not be in until 4pm and we needed to come back then since the receptionist can't "refund money" the receptionist was im disbelief and said "yeah that's really bad" If I was a business owner my priority would be to stop what I was doing and go to my salon if I was needed... we called and texted Mike and Jenny to see what time they would be in on Monday since Sunday was the day of my gender reveal and I could not walk around comfortably without my sandals or shoes irritating my feet, let alone work around their time and cancel my plans bc it was convenient for them. At this point I paid over $100 dollars for service and they are not willing to take responsibility for cutting me. Save yourself some time and money and don't come here. read more

I cant put a ZERO ! BUT not even a 1 star do they deserve. I put a deposit for a time slot ! with Jennifer for a full set . it was my birthday so I was so excited to treat myself .On the day of I confirmed my appointment and headed that way . I arrive and the receptionist (main guy ) I suppose . starts to get snappy with me , oh we called you 4 or 5 times and you didn't answer . I'm over here confused because I confirmed with a woman and turns out she did not rely the message , so basically I paid a deposit for what ? Jennifer wasn't even there and I had to wait on her if I still wanted my nails done . they said she was 5 min away . I waited 30 minutes and still no show , I was fed up cause I could of went to my regular nail spa but I made the drastic mistake of giving them a try on my bday for it to be a disaster .I asked for a refund of my deposit ,and they hit me with oh only Jennifer can refund you lol so I had to keep waiting , finally she gets there and shes mad at me cause I showed up lol and her staff didn't do there job , oh now she wants a refund , she was mad . but I didn't care , they didn't seem to value there customers time and money . don't let that social ,media fool you . they are money hungry and honestly that spa will do your nails anywhere , in the corner , on the floor , probably even in the restroom lmao cause it gets so packed they just want money oh sit here we do for u , and people are pushing you, stepping on your feet , its to ghetto for me and you want to charge 100 dollars and I cant even sit at a proper booth. thanks for saving me my money tho ! read more

I am extremely disappointed with Topline Nails. I took my 16-year-old daughter to get her nails done for prom, expecting a beautiful and professional experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst and most traumatizing experience for her. The nail technician, Monica, was incredibly unprofessional and had a terrible attitude. While I was sitting next to my daughter, I heard Monica instruct her to position her hand a certain way, which my daughter did. However, Monica repeatedly moved my daughter's hand rudely. I initially gave her the benefit of the doubt, but then I heard her accuse my daughter of moving her hand, which wasn't true. When I looked, my daughter's finger was bleeding, and she was crying in pain. I immediately told Monica to stop and called the manager, Michael. Despite letting Monica explain her side, which was full of lies, Michael did not seem to take our complaint seriously. Monica never apologized, and I had to request a different technician to finish the job. Michael assured me I would get a discount, but when I went to pay, I was shocked by the total: $164 for acrylic nails. Michael then offered a $20 gift card as compensation, which I refused. This entire experience was unprofessional and disappointing. The staff failed to keep their promises, and the service was appalling. I will never return to this establishment and am baffled by how they remain in business despite numerous bad reviews. read more

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this nail salon! From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming, friendly, and professional. The staff truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy throughout my visit. I had came in from another salon that ruined my nails and toes and made me feel so humiliated and unwelcome. But TOPLINE is definitely the place to go for a great experience! My nail technician KATIE paid incredible attention to detail and took the time to make sure everything was perfect. Not only did my toes turn out beautiful, but the level of customer service was exceptional. The salon was clean, relaxing, and had such a positive atmosphere. I had such an amazing experience at Top Line Nail Salon in Pico Rivera! Marco did my nails and absolutely exceeded my expectations. I came in for a fill and a reshape -- I had extra long stiletto acrylics that needed to be shortened and softened for work. He carefully removed the length, reshaped them into the most beautiful, pointy almond shape, and finished with a flawless French tip. They look elegant, clean, and still have a point which I love. Marco was so thoughtful throughout the entire appointment and kept checking in to make sure I was happy with the length and shape. You can tell he genuinely cares about his work and his clients. Van did my eyebrow wax, and I can honestly say it was one of the best wax experiences I've ever had. My eyebrows are naturally very straight and thick with almost no arch, and she effortlessly cleaned them up and gave me the beautiful arch I've always wanted. I've even tried Botox in the past to fix how flat my brows look -- and this whole time I should have just been coming to her! Both of them are incredibly talented. If I can give now rating I would . I feel this review is needed ! This place is extremely overpriced. Only good thing is the eyelash extensions by ""Julia. " wish she can go somewhere else and leave this place filled with a bunch of UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE AND DIRTY ENVIRONMENT. 1st. That girl in the picture dresses like a slut she has no respect for herself , shows how much respect she will have for customers, this is an old photo. She stares you down from head to toe. Makes u feel uncomfortable. I'm sure they all all shit about us in there own language. 2nd.The receptionists, very rude , and no customer service nor money skills . They are 20 year olds who drink Starbucks and are on there phones all the time . the skinny tall girl with white hair who thinks he shit doesn't stink and the 4 eyes girl who literally hangs up on whoever calls I know because I seen and heard it . 3rd. I came here in Sept 2023 for microblading with shading ($500) and a Procell skin treatment package ($2,500 for 5 sessions paid in full). Total waste of money and a frustrating experience. The microblading was terrible -- I left with uneven brows (one too high with a bad arch) and no visible shading, even though that was part of the service. The Procell treatment was worse. After just 2 sessions, I had bad skin irritation: bumps, closed pores, fluid coming out, and extreme itchiness. I tried reaching out multiple times to schedule the rest but got ignored -- calls, DMs, everything. I finally asked for a refund for the 3 sessions I didn't get and got a message that said: "No money refund love" After that? Left on "seen." I did a credit card dispute, but the owner lied and claimed everything was completed. BBB couldn't reach them. I was told to take them to small claims. This place is now opening a third location, while they leave customers like me with nothing but debt and regret. Avoid this place at all costs -- especially for expensive services. the owner Jennifer is a terrible woman she does not appreciate the customers who pay money to her business I've been a long time customer to this salon since the location that burned down and today she treated me to rudely when it came time to pay simply because I asked about a discount text that was sent to my phone yesterday and because I wanted to use a gift card she had given me last month when she asked me to write a good review for her business I have no problem paying the amount it is because the technicians who do my nails treat me kindly and do good work but the way this woman spoke to me was so condescending and patronizing then she had one of her male employees approach me and tell me that she THREATENED to ban me if I left a unsatisfied review after the way SHE treated me a long time customer who drives over an hour and juggles care for my baby to get serviced here this woman is beyond superior and arrogant it's such a shame because customers and long time customers should be valued they are who keep a business growing. read more

I recently visited Top Line Nails and Lashes in Pico Rivera for eyelash extensions, and my experience was extremely disappointing. During the application, I informed the technician multiple times that I was feeling pain and discomfort. Unfortunately, she chose to ignore my concerns. After the application, I continued to feel significant pain along my waterline, and I requested that the lashes be removed. During the removal process, I told the technician that the lash remover serum was burning my eyes. She acknowledged that she knew it was causing discomfort but did nothing until I was practically screaming in pain, begging her to remove the serum. Although the technician used protective pads, they were not applied correctly, resulting in an abrasion and a broken blood vessel in my eye. I ended up having to go to the emergency room for treatment. This level of neglect and disregard for client safety is unacceptable. I strongly advise others to be cautious when considering this salon for eyelash extensions. read more

I was visiting family in the area for a family gathering event and also going out with some friends. Needed to get "cleaned up" desperately, so my cousin took me to this place. My cousin got herself a Mani pedi that looked really nice. I didn't need a Mani pedi at the moment, but I did get my bikini line and eye brows waxed. I got it done by a girl named Mercedes. She was very friendly and very good. She was funny too because I remember her by her introduction, she said "Hi, I go by Mercedes, but unfortunately I don't own one." She's too cute. When working on me, she used some cool spray on me before the wax and it felt like it numbed the pain.. I hardly felt anything. It was a great experience here. Before I went back home, I came back here to get a Mani pedi also done by Mercedes. She once again, did a wonderful job. I got a lot of compliments on my nails when I got back home. I will definitely come back here to look for Mercedes the next time I visit. Great job girl! read more

I am posting my interaction with my conversation with the owner. I was very professional throughout my conversation with her, and she hit me with a rude response at the end, which I thought was insane considering I was being very nice and felt that things are being handled not to mention the gift card situation I have so many gift cards, but I have not been able to use simply because they tell me I can't use it. As far as I'm concerned, gift cards are a form of cash payment. What is the point of them having an incentive to leave a review for a gift card if we are unable to use a gift card at the end? I also saw a recent post on their Instagram, which made me go back and really want to share my experience as well. I see that the post has been taken down, but I managed to take a few screenshots before they remove the post. Then just to see that they thought it was important to post someone's review and be mean about it as a business. It's crazy. read more

BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS ON THIS PLACE. They are SPOT ON. Each time I've gone there they've let me down. I had the unfortunate experience with having Jennifer work on me. I came back 2 days after I had gotten my nails done there (due to a broken nail) and of course she wasn't happy, but what business person would be? That was understandable. But did she really have to yank on my arm each time she had to move me? Of course she kept blaming me for the broken nail. Ladies, if you had your service done properly, wouldn't they at least last you a week before a nail breaks? I've tried a number of places, and I finally found my saving grace. I hate to tell people about it, because I hate that they get so busy. They knock this place out of the water. Nail Bar of Laurel Square is the place to be. They're not very far into Whittier, and it's not as big as Top Line, but they're the best around. read more

You can see the two pictures. The one on the left is what I want it. I understand no one could do it the same exactly but every time I come here, they match it to the best they can. Kyle, who did my nails look like he didn't know what he was doing he couldn't color match whatsoever and asked me to pick the colors I want After I said I don't like the way it's coming out. He got an attitude and told me he didn't want to finish my nails. The owner did not take any consideration and told me to pay the full amount and come the next day for someone to fix it. She could've told me at least pay half and then the rest the next day not everybody has the time so after getting this fixed I will tell my friends who do go there not to go there at all anymore. The owner is money, hungry and does not care about the customer. Is better to find somewhere else. read more

I visited the nail salon on 6/22/25, and I believe Jennifer was the technician who worked on my nails. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. I regularly drive over an hour to this salon because I've trusted it in the past, but this experience was unacceptable. She frequently stepped away, took personal calls during the appointment, and took an unusually long time to complete the service. I also suspect I was overcharged. Most concerning, she cut my hand in four different places without offering an apology. Despite all this, she still asked me to leave a positive review. The next morning, I woke up with my hands sore. We attempted to contact the salon for a refund, but no one has returned our call. I'm extremely disappointed in how this was handled. read more

I followed this place on Instagram since last year in 2018 and I decided to try it out for myself for my BDAY, I did do my research and read both good and bad reviews but I think they did a really great job. At first I wanted to get my nails done with JENNIFER but I was told she does her own nail forms and gel-x so they would be more expensive ($100+) so I made an appointment with DOM and he did an amazing job, he took about 45 minutes to do my nails and they came out great! I showed a picture of what I wanted and I got a full set of gel acrylics , they turned out to be $64 . Also HEADS UP, there are 2 top line nail places around Pico Rivera so this one is the one in Whittier. read more

Absolutely loved my experience at this nail salon! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and felt totally welcomed. The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and relaxing - the perfect escape. The nail technicians were incredibly skilled and paid close attention to every detail, ensuring that my nails looked flawless. DO NOT GO HERE... This has to be the worse nail salon experience ever! I decided to go here because of their instagram images but it's all false advertisement. Overly priced, for the quality of their work.. They push you get more expensive services. The owner is abusive to her employees in front of customers. The employees "receptionist and the bartender" were talking about another customer in front of customers which was very uncomfortable..... overly priced, very crowded, poor quality work... waste of money seriously. $236 for a small set of french tip nails which is horrible, looks nothing like the inspiration image.. and a pedicure... read more

I like coming here ... But I might find a new place. Jennifer the owner is a HORRIBLE boss to her girls. All those ladies that work for her amazing and fall apart for the customer and go beyond the help for there customers and she mistreats hear employees. Listen here Jennifer WE ARE NOT IN YOUR COUNTRY ANYMORE . Treat your employees AND customers accordingly or I WILL CALL STATE BOARD.... The regional manager is a very close friend to me. So pay attention to the rules of how to treat your employers including YOUR CUSTOMERS. Your reviews aren't as good.
