The massages and ultrasound therapy help with lymphatic drainage, reduce swelling, and can help prevent fibrosis. I purchased the 12-session package, which included both the post-op massages and ultrasound therapy, and I'm so glad I did. Every time I went in, she paid attention to how my body was healing and would use different techniques and machines depending on what I needed that day. I really appreciated that she didn't just do the exact same treatment every session--she focused on helping reduce my swelling and supporting my recovery. I could really see and feel the difference as my sessions progressed. She is knowledgeable, attentive, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I always book my appointments with Iliana, she is amazing at what she does. She also gives me great advice on how I can take better care of myself and my body when I'm not doing the massages. I recommend sticking to one girl, or try them all until you find the one that you like and are the most comfortable with and especially like the work done on you. One of my visits I chose another girl because Iliana was not available, huge mistake, the girl obviously did not know my preferences or how sensitive my body was therefore she did the ice massage and I was in pain. My advice is always let them know your preference in advance. But if you only stick to one girl it will be easy peasy and each visit will be customized to what you did or what the last visit was.
