This is my honest review of Fejjab Spa. First of all, the front end staff was really great! Very friendly and accommodating! I got a massage and a back facial. The massage was not very relaxing. Juanita used short quick motions that made my muscles tense up... kinda reminded me of the same forceful motions that one would use on a manual washboard. And candidly, it felt like she was in quite a rush. (No, I didn't say anything to her because I wanted the full authentic experience that Fejjab Spa offers.) But she was very nice but not very skilled. Also, my massage ended way before my time should have. (I arrived a few minutes late, but even then, the massage ended at least 15 minutes earlier than the original time and there was no clarification if my time would be cut short or allowed to run for the amount of time that I purchased.) This was my first back facial. I was really looking forward to it because I knew there was a bunch of interesting things that I could not reach. The whole experience would have been immensely more enjoyable if they offered a heating lamp. What I discovered during my first experience is with all of the liquids, creams, lotions, and mask, my entire back was exposed and I was cold the entire time. I think the cold from the facial undid any relaxation from the massage. Perhaps the quality of service could have been given more grace, if the services weren't so expensive. I recently had my second visit for a facial. My first visit hadn't gone so well. I had expected more out of my facial and I was really let down. Second visit reminder came in and I was going to cancel it however, I attempted a little past the cut off mark and couldn't cancel with out a fee. So I attended the facial with low expectations. Let me say, I came out really impressed by Julie's technique and communication skills. She asked my skin concerns and then did a quick scan of my skin before we started and gave me a few options and the benefits to the different options. We never had down time, while we had skin product on my face she massaged my scalp and at another point did neck and shoulder massage. Felt like I really received my moneys worth this time. I'm Considering the membership just to come back to see Julie for another excellent facial. I love that the spa has little snacks at the entrance. I was surprised to find this spa in my neck of the woods. It's tucked away in an unsuspecting plaza and I did judge a book by its location. LOL. I came because a good friend of mine bought me a gift card and I wanted to use it. First and foremost, it was pretty nice and tranquil when I entered the waiting area. There were complimentary snacks and beverages in the waiting area. I loved the relaxing, intimate vibe it was going for. Points for using teal, because I love teal. Anyway, I checked in and the reception staff were very courteous and nice. Even though I'm not a dad in the sense of having human children (will never due to obvious reasons of societal degradation), I snatched up their special of their dad massage. Well.... at least I have developed a dad bod that I'm slowly deflating (since I can't afford Ozempic) and opted for that 50 minute massage with cupping and a deep tissue upgrade. I met Hector, who was very personable and professional. He asked about areas I wanted to focus on and proceeded with my requests. I have to say he was amazing. I asked for deep tissue and he manhandled me in the most perfect way possible. The pressure was perfect and he sure did loosen all the resentment/anxiety I carried within my back muscles. He did not talk to me much and just focused on the task at hand. He performed his craft with high effectiveness. I haven't had a massage that deep and thorough in a long time. At the end, he did comment on how tight I was and I'm not surprised (tell me something I don't already know). Upon checkout, I was told that I get a 10% discount on my next treatment for being a new client If I booked it then, so I took up that offer and scheduled my next appointment with Hector for July. I hope the Hector stays consistent so I can keep returning without having to go West. It doesn't have the fancy amenities like the other fancier spas (complimentary lounge, hot tubs, and showers), but I care about the treatments way more and Hector has it down! I surprised my Mom with a Christmas massage for her and a CBD oil massage for myself. We arrived about 15 minutes early and the sign on the door said to come back later. We were let in about 5 mins before our appointment time, we checked in and signed our waivers as first time customers. The waiting area has free snacks and beverages, also smells really good. We both had great massage experiences. I would definitely recommend the CBD oil massage, there really wasn't a scent it was just a relaxing experience that helped to alleviate some tension. I like to try massages at different places from 5 star hotels to more humble businesses. I've had good and mediocre massages from both and discerned that what you're mostly paying for is the ambiance/amenities and rarely the actual massage itself. For Fejjab I knew not to expect sitting in salt room or anything like that, but for their price point, I was expecting the massage to be damn good and feel a little luxury. The website's interface and exterior made me a little worried I was going to overpay for a service I could find cheaper (building looks old so nothing they can do). I also was a little turned off by some of the woo-woo language around "x detox", but whatever I'm here for a massage so I'm going to judge off that. Dakota is great while she did my tranquility massage. She checked in often at the start and once she got a sense of my pressure preference, didn't have to speak as much towards the end. She's very professional and aims to address any areas of pain or tension. I also really got a sense from her that she was actually planning and adjusting what she was doing versus going through the motions of giving a massage with 0 thought of what works for each client (experienced this at both luxury and non luxury massage places!). It was clear there was an actual methodology to this massage than just adding oil and pressure on someone. I said earlier I knew not to expect like a luxury spa setting, but they didn't skimp out on getting a high quality massage bed and using soft sheets and blankets. There's a lot of bargain massage places that opt for a much cheaper bed and it makes a huge difference. Not only is the bed heated, but the face head rest nicely padded in a way I found it actually supporting my neck. These might feel like small/basic touches, but it elevated the experience for me. Some things they can work on: the lavender oil used was so strong it burned my eyes even though it was only applied to my hair. I also wish they provided like a moist towel to wipe yourself off after because they utilized a lot of oil during the massage. Maybe some ways to sound proof a bit more? I wasn't bothered by hearing the occasional cough or some quiet voices, but I know some people would be lol. Overall, I'm definitely coming back for a massage! read more

I had a gift card and called to make an appointment for my daughter and I. I got an anti-aging facial. I liked it. My face looked great. I really liked the enzyme mask and Brisa was very informed. I'm not sure what products they used, but I did not like the aroma and had to wash my face when I got home. Even though I did, my face still had an amazing glow. My daughter got the Valentine's massage. I paid for the upgrade and when I asked her how she liked it she said she really liked it. I asked her how she liked the hot stones, and she said there were no stones. Hot stones were part of the Valentine's massage, but she said she did not get them, but she did get a hot towel, which felt great. I was a little upset that she didn't get the stones. I should have told her before everything that came with the package, but she's young and I don't know if she would have said anything.
