If you're like me and get a basic manicure and pedicure, this is not the place for you. For both, I paid $80, and I left feeling so unhappy. My toe nails were so unevenly cut and my nail technician was on the phone the whole time, literally having the phone to her ear the entire time. I dont get color on my finger nails, so I'm super easy - all I want are clean nails - and cuticles weren't even removed. It maybe took 12 min and that's including the 'masage'. The lady was really sweet, but they were just okay. I won't be going back. I already need to go somewhere for another pedicure because the nail polish is chipping away after only two days. read more

Sad to say I'm actually pretty disappointed in today's nails. I've come here a couple times before covid because I was super pleased and even recommended this place to quite a few people but there's inconsistency with the quality of nails offered by the technicians. I was wondering why the lady (not going to say her name) was so familiar and realized that she was the one that did my nails the first time and I was really displeased back then too. She eyeballed the tips for my full set so it didn't cover the whole nail and there's bubbles in the builder gel on literally almost every nail. She didn't even out or really center the point of the v french, even the tails aren't the same length. To have paid $100 for these nails, I feel like she should've put more effort in how the nails turned out. Their Yelp page says walk-ins, but it's appointment only. From far away they look nice, but for someone who constantly looks at their nails and is very detail-oriented, these nails are going to drive me nuts. For 55$ I got the builder gel and an added 35$ was for the French and 8 pieces of butterflies. The builder gel price I get, Bc I would get it all the time, but 35$ for a French tip and butterflies???? I feel like I got conned, and I'm not sure if I'm coming back if there's inconsistencies like this quality and I have to pay 100$ every time for less than satisfactory nails. Nail artists on Instagram charge around the same as this place and have way better quality experiences. I really liked this place because I never payed more than 70-80$ for my nails and they always lasted a long time, but man did I just get whiplash. read more

I went here once for fake nails. I've gotten them done before and have always been happy with the results. When I went to Polished Bar, I had high expectations based on the reviews. I had a picture of the nails I had in mind and the nail tech tried her best to replicate the picture. I didn't like the feeling of the fake nails, or the fact it covered my entire nail. Usually it's just glued onto the nail portion. Then I requested a French tip with gold and a ribbon on one nail. The ribbon looked more like scissors but that was the least of my concerns. I thought it was okay while I was at the nail salon and hadn't really noticed the differences between the picture and my nails until I left the salon. I was a bit disappointed but they looked okay and I didn't want to ruin nails that cost me almost $100. So I decided to stick it out. But later when FaceTiming a family member, they confirmed my concerns which were that they didn't look as good as my previous nails and did not look like the picture. I ended up going to a different salon to get them redone. The reason I'm giving three stars and not less is because I DID think and say they looked okay in the nail salon so I'm partially at fault as well. read more

I love my nails! The service from the ladies is always great. I always come with my bestie and we love it here. They always are super polite and friendly here. They always ask what we want to drink and start conversations with us. The only issue I ran into today was that the guy at the front desk attempted to charge me $70 when I usually pay $50. I was paying $35 + tip for regular fills but then I did chrome so I expected it to be more and was paying $50 + tip for chrome since it is special and takes a couple extra minutes. This was all FINE. But today, I go to pay and he told me the extra $20 charge is because they helped my cuticles and used cuticle oil at the end? (Like they always do). I just was sad the front desk person tried to scam me when I'm a regular here. If I decide to come back, I will probably ask first for the price written down before I get my nails done. If I have to make a suggestion, I would just make sure to ask the price before getting started every time. read more

I felt stinging after the tech sprayed alcohol on my toe, didn't realize how bad the cut was until I got home. Now that I am home I realized two of my toes were cut due to filing. I asked for a new dip manicure and the nail tech named Ivy decided to do a gel manicure instead, insisting it was better. I was charged $80.00 with an upsell of this chunky glitter on top even though I hated the color and said I didn't like chunky glitter, but felt she worked hard so I just dealt with it. And the shape was great! A week later my nail breaks. I'm floored to see mold growing under my nail after only a week. Turns out she didn't take the old clear dip base off my nail and start over she just layered the gel on top. Then the gel polish on top of that. Just a mess! $90.00 for a painful nail a week later. I've actually had a great experience with all of the nail artists and the owner/manager is very attentive and hands on as well. There was an instance I went out to my car and messed up my pedicure, I went back inside and asked for the polish to touch up myself but they took great care of me and fixed it on the spot, no questions asked! This was the first time I had been to this nail salon. I had made appointments for myself and for a friend. My appointment was for a full set and pedi, while hers was for a regular mani/pedi and a brow wax. This salon has the most non-gel and gel selection I have seen in quite some time. The color range is amazing, and they even have chrome colors. I went with three different gel colors for my nails and a OPI pink for my pedi. I love how my nails came out! They look amazing. Cindy took a lot of time shaping and filing and they look great. My friends mani and pedi also came out great! Ask, her eyebrow shaping was amazing. They serve complimentary drinks and have varying levels of pedicures depending on what your needs may be. If you are looking for a place that is local and do a great job, this is the place for you. I have a hard time finding and recommending a place, but this one I would. My only complaint was the wait time.
