I love my nails! The service from the ladies is always great. I always come with my bestie and we love it here. They always are super polite and friendly here. They always ask what we want to drink and start conversations with us. The only issue I ran into today was that the guy at the front desk attempted to charge me $70 when I usually pay $50. I was paying $35 + tip for regular fills but then I did chrome so I expected it to be more and was paying $50 + tip for chrome since it is special and takes a couple extra minutes. This was all FINE. But today, I go to pay and he told me the extra $20 charge is because they helped my cuticles and used cuticle oil at the end? (Like they always do). I just was sad the front desk person tried to scam me when I'm a regular here. If I decide to come back, I will probably ask first for the price written down before I get my nails done. If I have to make a suggestion, I would just make sure to ask the price before getting started every time. read more

Polished Bar - Chrome Pink - Nail Salons Near Me - Orange, California

I've been getting my nails done @ Polished Bar for a few months now and I love it. I really enjoy all the nail techs whether it's a fill or a pedi they all know what they're doing and really take care of you. I do have a favorite nail tech and I do make all my appointments with her now (Thi). When I show her a picture or talk about an idea I have for my nails, she's on top of it and makes my nails look amazing! read more

I came here looking for a new place to get my gel pedicure. Came in at 5:45 and they close at 6:30. We were seated right away and after a short wait (no big deal) we were served. The ladies that did our pedicures were very nice, talkative and treated us very well. My feet feel and look good, I will be going back. read more

This was the first time I had been to this nail salon. I had made appointments for myself and for a friend. My appointment was for a full set and pedi, while hers was for a regular mani/pedi and a brow wax. This salon has the most non-gel and gel selection I have seen in quite some time. The color range is amazing, and they even have chrome colors. I went with three different gel colors for my nails and a OPI pink for my pedi. I love how my nails came out! They look amazing. Cindy took a lot of time shaping and filing and they look great. My friends mani and pedi also came out great! Ask, her eyebrow shaping was amazing. They serve complimentary drinks and have varying levels of pedicures depending on what your needs may be. If you are looking for a place that is local and do a great job, this is the place for you. I have a hard time finding and recommending a place, but this one I would. My only complaint was the wait time. Took 2 hours from the start of my appointment to get theoigh everything, but that is most likely because they had been closed for a couple days before due to a floor renovation. read more

I have been going to the polished bar since they opened years ago. Mary is the BEST NAIL TECH! Very detailed, kind and not pushy at all. She always does a great job. I've actually had a great experience with all of the nail artists and the owner/manager is very attentive and hands on as well. There was an instance I went out to my car and messed up my pedicure, I went back inside and asked for the polish to touch up myself but they took great care of me and fixed it on the spot, no questions asked! Services I've done - acrylic full set with gel, gel manicure, gel pedicure, regular pedicure and gel x full set manicure. I also love that they offer you an array of beverages when you sit down! My favorite nail salon. read more

Please don't ever let Michael do your nails. I've been coming here for years and I think he is new. I legit felt like I was being pranked. He was all over the place and I feel like he had no clue what he was doing. Meh. I went in for a gel manicure. Sat on a high top chair at the counter- not super comfortable. The manicure looked great, no complaints there. But for $45, there was no extra. My nails are painted and that's it. No massage, no soak, just painted nails. Won't be going back. read more

Ugh. I love this place. I have had such terrible experiences at nail places since I was a teenager. I probably only had 5 pedicures my whole life and the last time I got fake nails I was 18 years old. I had an engagement shoot and needed some nails to make my hands look amazing in pictures so I swung by here. For about $55 I got a full set and it wasn't painful or uncomfortable. Now I've been here three times and got a fill plus a polish change so they have converted me. Yay for pretty hands! read more

This is long overdue as I've been coming here for about two months. Amazing nail shop and I am now a loyal customer. I've been going to Mia for the last few times but May also does excellent work too. Mia is such a perfectionist which I love. She perfects the shape of my nails and she is so detailed with my designs. I usually get some type of bling on several of my nails. Let me tell you, not once has a stone fallen off! Nor does the gel fade or chip! I can go three weeks or longer and still get compliments on my nails. It is pricey but the cheap comes out expensive. So I might as well get it done correctly the first time. Added bonus, They offer you a complimentary alcoholic or non alcoholic beverages while you're getting your nails done. read more

Manicure 5/5 - KIM IS AMAZING :D Employees 5/5 - really nice & friendly Cost 4/5 - pricy but worth it I've been going to super super cheap nail salons for MANY years and I usually leave feeling meh, "I could do a better job." This place left me in awe and I've never EVER rec'd so many compliments on my nails and it's only been 1.5 days since I got my nails done here. I have two friends that already made appointments here because they loved my nails so much! I would recommend an appointment!! What is the point of making an appointment here?!!! Made an appointment for dip and a pedicure at 3:00. They started my nails at 3:47. Nails were finished then had to wait until after 5:10 for them To start my pedicure. I would have left but I was leaving on vacation. There were sooo many unhappy customers who had appointments. They kept apologizing saying they were so busy. I understand it is a Saturday and Covid was challenging so I tried to be patient. Maybe if they had designated technicians for walk ins and designated technicians for appointments things would run more smoothly. The staff was very friendly and tried hard to do a good job. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this nail salon and I do not plan on returning. read more

I wouldn't go back. I've been few times and it gets worse each time. I asked the lady to buff thinner multiple times and has to ask her to even out the acrylic a few times because she wanted to just leave it. I asked her nicely each time, not to be rude. But she never asked if it was okay. Only for length and after she was just gonna start painting it, and I had to stop her to thin some nails and even some nails out. She didn't clean my cuticles or push back my cuticles, and was rushy. She was with me for an hour and the owner walked by and did his walk and told her to take the next customer (I assume before he pointed to the girl in front of me, and she looked over at the girl who was waiting). The nails are bulky, bumpy, edges aren't clean. I asked her few times to clean it up, but I knew she didn't care. I paid $50 for these and I tipped her, but yea... i think they try to be great with drinks each time I get there, champagne and sodas, but they just have mediocre skilled technicians. read more

Update: Got NYE mani by my fave Eddie. And as I was paying Cindy mentioned about my red chrome chipping and gave me a discount 15%. Great Customer service. Even puts up with my boys when they are with me Updated update: Cindy is the best. Keeps customer service and quality as her top priorities. That's why my sister and I keep coming back every 2-3 weeks ;) Updated Review: After frequenting this Salon for about two years (since 2 mo after it opened) I have quit going.. here's why. 1- my nail tech is no longer there 2- not everyone can do a hard gel manicure and get the gel even, not thick and super smooth. I don't care if you say "everyone can do it" ... Hard gel is not like acrylic. 3- I didn't like the techs talking sh!t about me to each other in Vietnamese saying that I'm picky. You bet I'm picky.. if I'm paying 70-80$ every 2-3 weeks for my nails I want them done a certain way. And I didn't like the front desk person rushing my tech because there are more customers and they do a crappy job in the end just to finish fast. read more

I have been here a few times and what I am finding out is it's better to just walk-in instead of make an appointment. I walked out once after making an appointment to get my nails and toes done and an hour after they finished my nails they wanted to do my pedicure! Not acceptable! You make an appointment so you don't have to wait and the people who don't have appointments are supposed to wait till there is an opening, not here. Appointments or walk-ins all treated the same! So my pedicure person went and did someone else's pedicure who just walked in. Sorry my time is valuable I'm going to where I am treated with respect. read more

Updated review: I came here recently and maybe it was just an off day but I wasn't that satisfied. The owner immediately contacted me, went above and beyond to make sure I had the nails i wanted when I walked out. I am floored by their customer service, how kind some of the artists are, and genuinely the owners interest in her customers happiness. I will def be coming back and sending all of my friends and co workers there. Wow seriously. Came today 2/7/20 and was severely disappointed again. I gave them an hour for a pedicure and if they were taking their sweet time because they were doing a good job, I wouldn't have minded. The girl who was doing my nails did the worst "massage." She kept stopping , chatting with her friends, staring off into space, and hardly touched me. Her parafin wax never even touched the souls of my feet... it was so underwhelming. Form start to finish. I just finished and touched the bottom of my feet. It hasn't even been 5 minutes and the sound of my feet are rough after a supposed callous treatment. Really upset yet again. This place is hit or miss for sure. Depends on who you get. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. I just left this place and I have never been treated with so much attitude because I didn't want gel. The lady then threw a tantrum and made me get up without helping move any of the stuff to pick a color barefoot from the wall after she had already cleaned my feet. They then proceeded to clearly talk poorly about me while I sat there. Never again. It was also $72 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure with nothing special. Expensive and not worth your time or money! Highly don't recommend this place. read more

I've been here a bunch of times before, but my review is about my last visit, which was earlier this week. My sister and I went to polished bar for pedicures and literally both ended up with infections, which has made us both question the cleanliness of the tools used at polished bar. Overall service here is perfectly fine, and all of the nails techs working there are nice, but having to worry about infections when you're paying a premium price for this service is off putting. We won't be back. read more

I wish I had a better overall experience here. After all the great and highly rated reviews on Yelp, I definitely had higher expectations. I had an appointment and was seen pretty quickly. The workers seemed to be staring and whispering at me for some odd reason - I definitely felt uncomfortable and a bit weird. The lady who did my nails, I wish I remembered her name, but she seemed to be doing a pretty good job. She even seemed like the go-to person in the salon because all of the workers were asking her questions when they didn't know what to say to the person they were working on. When I was done, the manicurist seemed to rush me to move out of my seat so she could rush the next person in the chair - I eventually realized that she knew the next person and wanted to hurry and work on her nails. RUDE. I get it, you need to work on as many people to make money, but its also one of the reasons they just lost a customer. By the time I got home I inspected my nails, like I normally do, the ends were crooked on each nail. By day 2, the top coat (clear gel) was peeling off - this is why I HATE when manicurists put gel on top of dipping powder... I also realized that the manicurist didn't completely remove the previous dipping powder on my nails so you could see a dark purple underneath my current dipping powder. Then to top it off, only a week and a half later, the dipping powder starting lifting from my nails! One of the main reasons I switched to dipping powder is because it sticks to your nails and doesn't lift. I have never experienced this before. I figured that I went to a place that cost me $45 for a manicure, they'd last longer or stay decent looking after a few weeks. I've honestly had better experiences at places that have costed me much less. I guess it's time to find yet ANOTHER nail salon.... read more
