Poki Run is definitely a Milpitas staple for good poke! Every time I come in, the staff is always really sweet and they prepare your bowl pretty quickly. The fish always tastes very fresh and the quality is consistently good. They also don't skip on the toppings, which I appreciate, making the price worth it in my opinion. Definitely one of my go to spots in the area for poke!
Oh man, do I wish I lived closer to this place so that I could have it a bit more often. I had just recently learned about this place and would definitely be coming back. I like how simple of a process it is to build a bowl. I found mine to be pretty filling and I only got the regular three scoops. ~~Parking: The restaurant itself is located in a strip mall. And there is plenty of parking. At least when I went on a Saturday morning around noon, there was plenty of parking. ~~Service: Good. The only interaction that you have with the employees is when they're building your bowl and checking you out. So nothing to complain about. ~~Best Part: The fact that you can get unlimited toppings. And the fact that they don't charge you extra for avocado. ~~Worst Part: Nothing. ~~Return: Definitely.

I came here with a friend on an early Tuesday evening. I got the large poke bowl, and it was delicious. I found it interesting that this place does black rice, which had a nice texture. Also, I've never seen blueberry mayo as a sauce choice, it was pretty and also deliciously brightening to the bowl. They also do an avocado scoop for free which was pretty neat. The place was very clean and basically empty, but we did come pretty early on a weekday, and that just meant no line for us. There is plenty of parking in the lot. I would come again if I were in the area and craving poke.
It's tucked in a large strip center. Clean place. Several seats inside. Simple menu for Poki. And a handful of rolls. Interesting choice of black rice. I asked for a sample. It was tasty and nice texture. Prices are fair. Bowl and roll was $29 which included my tip. Angelina was my poki barista. Pleasant and serves a good bowl. it was fresh and filling. Will stop back again when in town.
This place never disappoints! Whenever I'm in the area, I will stop by and grab myself a Roll Combo meal. Their fish tastes very fresh and they dont charge you for avocado or seaweed salad as a topping! I always see the same group of people working there when I go and they are very nice and accommodating to your requests! It's a local mom and pop poke shop so please stop by and give them a try! They will not disappoint:)

They also have one complimentary scoop of imitation crab and avocado- where most places charge extra. The portions are just right! It will definitely have you satisfied at the end of the meal. Plenty of seating for groups or solo dates with yourself. The staff will always greet you and they're very welcoming as well. Would definitely recommend!
I love going to Poki Run for guaranteed fish quality, unique toppings/sauces, and friendly staff! I've been coming here for years and it's still one of my favorite poke spots in the South Bay. One of the best deals for poke imo as they do not charge for avocado, seaweed salad, or crab meat for the first scoop. Small bowl includes 3 scoops of protein and large for 5 scoops. The ingredients are always *chef kiss*. Fish is always fresh and has good texture. My favorites are the spicy tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and ahi tuna. I specifically love their mango and blueberry mayo! I know the blueberry mayo may sound questionable but trust -- it pairs so well with the poke. The interior is always clean whenever I decide to dine-in. Plenty of seats and parking as well. I love how home-y the restaurant feels, a true mom and pop shop!

Great little mom and pop shop that serves poki and sushi. Lots of spacing and parking is great, service is A1 and poki was extremely good. They had varieties and fishes that other spots do not have. They are extremely clean and thorough. Portion size is a bit smaller than expected but the taste in quality makes up for it.
This place is becoming one of my go tos for sure! I chose the large bowl and it came with 4 proteins. There's a lot of variety and hamachi and spicy shrimp was up there for me. There were other options like edamame, corn, etc. I loved the spicy mayo sauce drizzle they leave at the end. Service was really quick and their staff is friendly. Definitely recommend!

I wanted to try more places besides Poke House and I love that this place's poke bowls are always so fresh!! Finally got to check out Poki Run and was very impressed with how fresh their salmon was. Their regular bowl comes with 3 scoops of protein, which was nice! The people running the place are super friendly and come up with great suggestions for any food/sauce preferences you have. I got the regular bowl with a mixed base of brown rice and greens. I was pleasantly surprised by how the first scoop of avocado and crab salad is free! Each additional scoop comes with a surcharge. This is such a great spot to sit down and enjoy your lunch. read more

Decent price compared to how expensive poke bowls have gotten these days. 3 scoops of protein for ~$15. Free avocado is a huge plus too! Service was good and employees were friendly! I got the salmon, tuna, and shrimp with a mix of the house and spicy sauce. Got the wasabi mayo on the side and it was pretty good! read more
So there are a few things I look for in a good poki place: cleanliness of the restaurant, freshness of the ingredients, and the price. Poki Run is outstanding at all three. You walk in and the place is immaculate. I ordered a large bowl and you get five big scoops of protein. The ahi, salmon, and the rest of the ingredients were very fresh and tasty. They had a lot of options on the menu and I really appreciated that the first scoop of avocado and crab were free. The large bowl was plenty of food and was price friendly. The service was fast and friendly. Overall this is a fantastic poki place and the best one I've ever been to. read more
Poki Run has truly ruined it for myself when it comes to my poke cravings. No other place can compare, especially when it comes to taste and quality of that sushi rice. Let's be real- if your rice is trash, the meal itself couldn't possibly be any better when it comes to this type of dish. Poki Run is a bit of a drive compared to a couple of poke spots located a lot closer to home but I'd easily make the trip. 5/5 stars!! Seafood, protein, and ingredients are always fresh, tasty, and the pricing is 100% justified. Flavorings as a whole is always spot on and satisfies all my cravings completely. Having a few recent fails at other establishments have only solidified my love and high praises for PR. read more

I was interested in trying some new poke restaurants in the area and decided on Poki Run. I appreciate that they have some unique things on their menu such as the black rice, mango mayo sauce, and blueberry mayo sauce. The regular poke bowl is also fairly priced and the portions were great. My poke bowl consisted of Black Rice, x2 Salmon, Ahi Tuna, House Sauce, Cucumber, Onion, Avocado, Seaweed Salad, Crab, Edamame, Green Onion, Masago, Wasabi, and Ginger, Sesame Seeds, and Furikake. I asked for Spicy Mayo and Wasabi Mayo to be drizzled on top and got the Mango Mayo and Blueberry Mayo sauce on the side. I definitely would come back for another meal, the mango and blueberry mayo sauce were interesting, I would probably get them on the side to try again. read more

Since our usual poke place had been disappointing lately, we decided to look for another poke place to try. Saw this place had pretty good reviews and decent pricing, so we had to try. It's located in a shopping complex where there are plenty of parking spots. Not many people there when we got there so we were able to order right away. As we looked at the menu, we noticed the pricing was higher than what we saw on the menu in the photo section from about 5 months ago. Not happy with that, but oh well we are already here. We ordered 2 regular bowls. Each regular bowl receives 3 scoops. The employee scooping for my daughter was quite generous with her bowl compared to the one serving me, but the scoops felt small. Perhaps that's how much most places scoop nowadays. We like that they have a house sauce they and other options you can choose from to mix the poke with. We both chose the house sauce which is good. I thinks it's a sweet soy base sauce. As for the toppings, we like the toppings they offer and a big plus is that a scoop of avocado is free! Most places charge for avocado. We also like that they offer aside from spicy mayo, a mango sauce. There are other interesting flavors as well such as a blueberry sauce, but I chose the spicy mayo, mango sauce, and unagi sauce. All the flavors mixed together created a very tasty poke bowl. Both of us like this place better than our old go to place. We will be back again. read more

I LOVE POKI RUNNN!!! It beats Poke House slightly because they offer up to five scoops and have a variety in their menu. I usually go for the bowls, and the biggest win for me is how consistently fresh the fish is, along with their great variety of sauces! In the bowl pictured, I opted for unagi and decided to try the blueberry mayo. Initially, I was skeptical (because blueberry mayo?!), but it adds a light, unexpected sweetness without being overpowering. The restaurant is spacious with lots of seating, the staff is always welcoming, and the area is kept clean. Highly recommend! I come here often and will definitely keep coming back :) read more

This is my go-to poke spot in the area, and every single time I go for the roll combo with a California roll. The fish always tastes fresh, and I love how they offer black rice, which is a great healthy option! They have a variety of choices for protein, such as Izumi tai, albacore, tofu, spicy shrimp, and of course, salmon and tuna. To add onto how amazing their selection is, they also have avocado for free, which is always an extra charge when I go to other places. The portions are fair, giving me a satisfying amount of food to feel full. They have different sauces to drizzle on top, including unique ones like mango mayo and blueberry mayo! The owners and employees here are always so kind, one time even giving me free miso soup. This place is always super clean and organized with their food items as we get to build our own bowls! For a great experience and a delicious meal, I would absolutely recommend visiting Poki Run to meet their wonderful staff and try their quality food. read more
I'm a big fan of Poki Run! It's probably second only to Poke House in my book. I love the variety in the menu - you can get a side of sushi rolls with your bowl or opt for a few rolls instead of a bowl. The fish is always fresh, and the toppings are great! I also love the various sauces. The one in the picture is a blueberry mayo, which was really unique and surprisingly good! The toppings offered are pretty standard and always good. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable there is ample space to sit and eat. read more

This was my first time here, and Kevin was awesome! He took the time to explain how everything works. I went with the regular poke bowl, and it was delicious! I chose salmon, spicy tuna, and ahi tuna for protein, and they were super fresh. Even though the regular bowl looks small, it's really filling. Highly recommend this place! read more

We've been going here for four years and we always enjoy their service and food... My kids are very picky with raw fish, this place always serves fresh poki bowls. They always finish they regular size bowl that is serve fresg and good amount of fish and sides in it, I would recommend this place. read more
This shop has been around for years, and I used to frequent this place a lot with coworkers. Now, it's been a while, but I appreciate the freshness of their fish and that they also have rolls like California Rolls, Avocado Maki, Inari, or Spicy Tuna Rolls. This is one of the few places that doesn't charge you extra for the seaweed salad or masago. Nice and clean. They provide complimentary chilled water for their patrons. Service is nice and friendly! read more
