I want to express my sincere gratitude to the team at this poke restaurant for consistently delivering an experience that goes far beyond just good food. Every visit feels like a small moment of calm and care in the middle of a busy day. The ingredients are always incredibly fresh -- the kind of freshness you can taste immediately. The fish is clean, tender, and perfectly chilled. The toppings are vibrant and thoughtfully prepared, and the sauces are balanced without overpowering the bowl. You can really tell that each component is handled with intention and pride. What stands out even more is the kindness of the staff. They greet you warmly, take their time to help customize the bowl exactly how you want it, and never rush the process. The portions here were so big and the fish tasted very fresh! I definitely recommend a mix of spicy salmon and regular salmon. The service was very friendly and the ambiance was very casual. Great quick place for delicious poke!!
Fantastic little poke spot in Milpitas. Friendliest owners I've ever met, and the toppings are fresh and delicious. You start by picking your base: sushi rice, brown rice, or greens, then add your proteins with variety such was spicy salmon, tuna, shrimp, tilapia, tuna salad, tofu, etc. You can choose a spice level, and additional toppings such as edamame, corn, seaweed salad (so good), macaroni salad, crab, etc. I love to add spicy mayo and yuzu ponzo, plus eel sauce. Do not pass this place up!
This place hit the spot! I appeared a little indecisive when I first approached the counter to order but the lady was very good at suggesting the regular bowl (vs large) and helping me along. My bowl was standard sushi rice, ahi tuna, spicy tuna, edamame, Ginger, corn, onions, soy sauce, sesame seed and furikake. Very good poke bowl!
I honestly thought this place was closed down years ago, but I'm glad it's still around! It's located near Great Mall. .I ordered half sushi rice and half mixed greens, with one scoop of salmon, one scoop of tuna, and one scoop of spicy salmon. They had a lot of sauce options here which definitely made me want to come back to try out the different combinations. The fish tasted fine and had a decent texture. I ordered almost all the toppings except the ones that cost extra (avocado) and the pineapple. The poke bowl was very flavorful and it was a good quick grab & go meal. I ordered it spicy and it was definitely spicy. I wished they had wasabi as a topping though. This was the first time I'd seen a poke place have macaroni. However, the macaroni was okay and wasn't anything mind-blowing. I enjoyed the chipotle mayo sauce which I haven't seen at other poke spots. It gave it a good kick. The owners were really friendly and the portion sizes were really generous. I'm surprised they were able to fit the lid on after putting on everything. I couldn't even finish the whole bowl in one sitting so it was nice to have 2 meals instead of one. It's not my favorite poke place, but it's definitely a very solid poke spot with large portions.
I usually go to Poke House for poke but I was in the area and saw good reviews about this place. I would actually rate the food 4/5 but I think (not certain) this is a mom&pop restaurant and the service was super nice. They also sell boba here but I didn't try any. I got a medium bowl which comes with 3 proteins, and the large comes with 4. We also got a rainbow roll to-go just to try the sushi here. The poke bowls were a 4.5/5 for me. The fish has good texture and there was a good amount of it, and they had a variety of sauces and toppings. I got the shoyu and ponzu which tasted great with the fish. I wish they had more dry topping options like furikake or seaweed strips, I feel like that was what was missing from my standard poke bowl. I got edamame, cucumber, crab meat, and seaweed salad as toppings and I liked how the seaweed salad is a free topping, at most places they charge you extra for that. Additionally, they had hamachi as a poke fish option which was great. I'd rate the roll a 3/5. On the roll they had salmon, hamachi, and tilapia where usually on rainbow rolls there's additional fish such as tuna and red snapper. The roll pieces were also a little small, but overall it tasted fine. I just think the poke was much better in comparison.
A must try!! Super fresh ingredients and delicious toppings. I will definitely go back and try more. Support small businesses! They've been open for 10 years now. The owner was super sweet and helpful. Service was fast and the restaurant was pretty.

A friend of mine recommended me to this place for lunch in Milpitas. Best choice I made in a while for lunch. The parking lot is small but I went after lunch time. It looks locally ran like a mom and pop shop. The service was great I felt like they made my food with love and care. I got a 4 scoop protein and I was stuffed and the topping was a game changer. If you find yourself in Milpitas make sure you swing by and get a bowl get all the toppings. read more
Poke Xpress is a cozy mom & pop store. The parking lot is small, so it is hard to find a spot. The interior is nicely decorated and Hawaiian themed. I stopped in only for a drink. *House Milk Tea - it was ok. The service was super nice and friendly. I'll be back to try their poke bowls and/or sushi rolls. I stopped in for a late lunch, and even though it was my first time here, I was really impressed. The woman who helped me, who I think might be the owner, was incredibly patient and kind. The salmon and tuna in my bowl were extremely fresh, and the rice had just the right amount of moisture, making every bite perfect. Prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely be back. read more

The owners are very friendly and the portions are generous! It definitely hits the spot when I'm having a craving. They have a lot of options and you honestly can't go wrong. Even people who I've taken here who aren't big fans of poke have enjoyed their sushi too! read more

I've been coming to this place for over 6 years. Huge portions, excellent service, the owner is super sweet and welcoming as always. My bowls are stuffed, I can't even see the protein. I highly recommend you get poke here!!!! read more

We came around 8 pm. Never been here before but I've seen it around for a long time. It's tucked in a plaza I don't really drive by often so I never got to try it. Fish portion was really good. The regular size bowl is kinda flat and I feel like I could have used more rice. Overall the fish and topping portions are good, but it's like smushed in a really tiny bowl. Avocado is extra and it looks like a lot in the photo but it was a very tiny avocado thinly sliced, and spread out before they put it on the bowl. The mango sauce was surprisingly really good. One thing that I didn't like though was some bites of yellowtail tasted kinda fishy. I didn't notice this til the end and then i lost my appetite. The salmon is good though. They had dine in tables and everything was pretty clean. However we decided to take it to-go. The lady serving us was very nice. read more

Sometimes when I'm in a hurry and just want a quick but healthy lunch, I'll swing by a poke bowl place where patrons can choose their base (rice or greens), several types of fish, toppings, and dressing. This restaurant offers friendly service and a generous amount of toppings. Lady working the counter is very sweet. Simple interior with a beach/surfing theme. read more

Not a bad spot, just not my favorite. They really fill up your bowl here with fish and toppings, which is really nice! Also give lots of sauce - I usually have to ask for more on the side but whatever they gave was enough. I actually did request some extra on the side, but they said they don't do sides here, which I thought was a bit odd and hasn't happened to me at any other poke spot. I got sushi rice, two scoops of salmon, one scoop of tilapia, seaweed strips, spicy sauce, and macaroni. For sauces, I ordered spicy mayo, shoyu, and miso dressing. I had to take a break when eating my bowl to finish it because there was so much. I wish they had octopus as a protein option though. Sauce was alright but wasn't spicy enough to my liking, even with the spicy mayo and spice level adjustment option they have. The woman who made my bowl (the owner, I'm assuming) was really nice and friendly. The large portions were definitely a standout of this place. read more

The food tasted good, and they both were friendly. The environment looks clean as well. But we both had diarrhea after we ate poki. That's not a good sign that maybe something is not fresh since we never had diarrhea eating poki elsewhere before. read more

Found this little hidden gem I am a huge fan of poki and my poki bowl was just perfect it was so good I took pictures of it after super delicious I Definitely recommend this place and I will be coming back custumer service was great as well!! read more
Great value and Quality taste. Big winner. Udon $8.95, yummy soup base, large bowl of noodles and full of veggies and tofu products. It's better than the ones in other Japanese restaurants. Poke $10.95 for 3 scoops of protein, plus free avocado and seaweed; that is the best price in town. Fish is fresh, that is important point. read more

Stopped by to grab poké bowls for lunch. I normally go to Poki Run as it's close to Teasociety and grab both. I decided to branch out today to try poké here, located close to Great Mall. The shop had a variety of options aside from poke, including sushi and boba. I'vehad the boba here and would say it's mediocre, but their poke is the star of the show. There were a variety of options, and I started with a half and half base of brown rice and lettuce. I noticed their brown rice seem to be the Korean purple rice, which is a nice change from what I normally see at poke spots. My proteins of choice were ahi tuna, salmon, and yellowtail - all seemed fresh and were tasty. I topped it off with various veggies, crab salad, seaweed salad and their mango sauce. They also had some more unique toppings such as macaroni and Hot Cheetos. All ingredients were fairly fresh and tasty. Portion for a regular bowl was very filling, I was stuffed! I'd come back. I would recommend skipping the boba and coming here for the poke bowls. read more
It's no surprise that Poke Xpress is growing in popularity serving healthy low calorie meals at an affordable price and generous portion size. So I came by this morning and was greeted very warmly by the young lady as she had her face mask on and social distance is in place. I chose the regular bowl $13.95 with three scoops and for drinks I had the apple green tea regular size for $3.95 which was far cheaper than its competitors. Hoere's what I had starting with the base: Sushi rice with a hint of vinegar Toppings: Crab meat (mild) Avocado four slices (free) other places will be an additional charge Sweet corn Pineapple Macaroni Edamame Seaweed salad Protein: Ahi tuna Salmon Cooked shrimp Tofu Sauce: miso dressings Sesame shoyu Dry toppings: Furikake Fried onions Sesame seeds For a regular size bowl it was more than enough lots of protein low in fat and carb along with all the toppings and definitely a good workout meal. Will be back and check out their sushi menu. read more

I had a little picnic by myself in the grassy area in front of the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed my lunch on a beautiful day! The poke was delicious and fresh aside from the spicy salmon. Was not a fan of the texture. I also would have left off the macaroni and the pineapple. That's on me though! I went wild haha HUGE portion. Loved it. I would definitely go back and eat there again. read more
Not a fan of this place. It's edible and decent, but I got tired of it. The crab salad and spicy crab texture was really dry. When you bite into it, it feels dry and poofy-like sort of like blue cheese texture. Don't like it. The fish felt okay, but not insanely fresh. I was not a fan of the sauces. I think that house should be their iconic flavor, but this is not too good. Their house spicy sauce tastes like sriracha. The flavors do not blend too well together. Was not a fan. The fried onions were not crispy enough. Felt a little too chewy. I must say that they have macaroni salad, which is unique. Overall, not a favorite. Would not come back. read more
