Came for some rolls cause we weren't too hungry for dinner and it turned out great. They have some rolls that were 50% off but for dine in only. A good deal! So we just got three rolls and and a miso soup. The miso soup was pretty on point. The place was pretty roomy and nice. The service was good. I heard folks hang with the sushi chef, saying they have been here with the chef for many years, so good to know they have many repeat customers as it was my first time here. I'll come again to try there other food items.

We came here for a sushi date night on a Friday. It was super busy! The parking lot was big but always full at this plaza. We ordered two orders of Sushi moriawase B Combo!! The food took forever because there were so many people but the food was amazing!! Each bite is fresh and delicious!! Highly recommend this place for date nights if you're craving sushi.

Dined here with my niece during a break from a tufting class a couple doors down. Great option of rolls, sashimi and bentos. Enjoyed and shared the 2-item bento ($17): beef teriyaki and CA Roll, Crunch Roll and Spider Roll. Niece didn't like the beef teriyaki as she's used to really sweet and smothered sauce to which I prefer less so it was prefect. Tender, flavorful and a generous amount for lunch. Specialty rolls were delicious, fresh with the rice nicely seasoned. Service friendly and efficient. Would return if in the area. Plenty of shared lot parking. If you're looking for a yummy spot in the plaza, stop by Tokyo Sushi.

Still consistently good on their sushi rolls. Great service and feels w/ the music and traditional decor.

Meh. Only star reduced for zero WiFi. We usually sit at sushi bar and there's no service. Food is steady and service is good. Consider a public WiFi maybe.

Very happy visiting this location on a weekday! They have a great deal on their rolls from Monday-Thursday all day which each roll is 50% off, so we saved so much money. We were a party of 5 and we sat down immediately around 11:30 am! Service was great, prompt, and attentive. We ordered about 7 rolls: Manila Roll Apple House Ultimate Shrimp Crispy Sandwich Flying Dragon Roll Sweet Crispy Super Crunch All of them were so good! Very strong flavors, great quantity of sauce on each one. The rice was overcooked for some, and some of the deep fried rolls were very oily. Nonetheless, great sushi + great service = great experience

Looks good but quality just so so

We ended up spending almost two hours at lunch--not because we were enjoying ourselves, but because the food came out incredibly slow. It would've been appreciated if the waitress had let us know there was a delay due to the kitchen being short-staffed. We were a party of seven and ordered two three-item bento boxes, three sushi rolls, and a sashimi plate. The bento boxes arrived in about 20 minutes, and thankfully we were sharing, because the rest of the food took much longer. We had already finished the bento boxes by the time the next items arrived. Two sushi rolls came out about 20 minutes later, followed by the last roll. The sashimi plate didn't show up until over an hour into the meal--by then, we were already full. The food and service were just okay. Nothing really stood out, and overall, it didn't leave a strong enough impression for me to want to return.

I had a great dinner here, one of my family's regular spots. We were a party of 9 and received great service. Some of our group ordered Bento Boxes and some ordered Sushi Rolls and everything was delicious. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Sushi is fresh, with lots of choices. Parking was easy and prices were fair. I will definitely be back.

10/10 stars if I could!!! This place is a hidden gem!! From the customer service, ambiance and delicious food, Tokyo Sushi delivers exceptional quality every time. We have made this our go to spot for date night. The waitresses taking care of you always make sure you are enjoying the experience from start to finish. They offer a 50% off menu which is RARE in the Bay Area. The fish is ALWAYS fresh and the service is fast! I'd recommend Tokyo Sushi to anyone who is thinking of treating themselves to a dine in experience.

Bento 2 item Chicken Teriyaki and Veggie Tempura

Good location, with plenty parking. Interior is simple, typical Japanese restaurant style. Prices are good, and servers are nice. The food was okay, nothing really special, the teriyaki chicken was good but the tempura batter was soggy and chewy reminded me of mochi texture. Nice presentation tho, still will come back but for the teriyaki chicken.

Sushi heaven at a local gem, serving up authentic Japanese flavors for over 20 years! Sail away to flavor paradise with Tokyo Sushi's boat special! This is the biggest sushi boat I've ever seen. This standout features an array of chef-selected sashimi, nigiri, and rolls. Enjoy thick, succulent cuts of salmon, albacore, and tuna that melt in your mouth, each piece fresher than the last. Get ready to feast your eyes and taste buds! Tokyo sushi is known for their wide variety of sushi rolls and I had to try a few: Dragon Roll: a taste sensation with shrimp tempura, cucumber, and crab inside, beautifully topped with unagi, avocado, ebi, fish roe, and a drizzle of unagi sauce. Andy's Roll: spices things up with spicy tuna and cucumber, crowned with albacore and crispy fried onions, all tied together with a special sauce. Sushi Boy Roll: combines spicy crab and cucumber inside, elegantly topped with salmon, avocado, fish roe, and sauce. For those who prefer a variety, the Sushi Moriawase offers beautifully plated nigiri on a wooden pedestal alongside fresh cuts of sashimi, providing a traditional and immersive dining experience. Bento Box Delight: This is perfect for those who love to try a few cooked items. I chose a 3 item combination of beef teriyaki, mixed tempura and maki. Plus, assorted appetizers like grilled squid and chicken karaage- perfect for those who want a bit of everything! Dive into the deep sea of flavors at Tokyo Sushi, and indulge in a casual sushi experience that's as visually stunning as it is delicious. Service/ food did take a while, as we ordered many items and they were packed on a Sunday night.

Tokyo Sushi is located in the Pacific Rim Plaza ll off of Murphy Ave and Lundy, close to Ma's Restaurant, Kingwuu, etc. It's one of the original restaurants when this plaza first opened up. I've been to this restaurant years before and thought it was just ok. They have had several owners over the years, so I thought I'd try it again. You were warmly greeted as you entered the restaurant. The place has been remodeled and upgraded. Booth and table seating. I placed a take out order of California Roll. Good imitation crab/mayo and avocado. (3.5/5)

Yes there Sushi bar is open for sit down

Is this place even open? I called them and they didn't pick up.

It depends on what time you called them. You can check their business hours. They probably updated their business hours but it would be best to always check the business hours.

Luckily for us, it was absolutely worth it! We called in for takeout about 15-20 minutes out from the restaurant and everything was ready by the time we arrived. It did feel a bit cramped but fortunately I was just in and out. Service was great too! We got the Lion King and a sashimi platter. The lion king was SOOO good. I always get worried ordering this at new sushi spots because I feel like it can be a hit or miss (especially when they load waaay too much spicy mayo on it lol) - this roll had the perfect amount where it wasn't too overpowering. The ingredients tasted fresh too! As for the sashimi platter - every piece was thick and fresh. I'd definitely come back for takeout! Make sure you call ahead of time.

The takoyaki was good and tasted like traditional takoyaki. We ordered the sushi pro roll, the unagi pro roll and BB roll. They aren't very accommodating for change as we asked to substitute unagi for salmon (as the salmon was raw, as mentioned earlier, needed fully cooked) and they delivered the roll without the salmon and nothing as a substitute for the missing salmon. If I knew that I would've just ordered a different roll as the price didn't change. Rolls were okay but overpriced at $18 per roll. And even more so with my missing topping. I'm happy that they didn't put sesame on the rolls as we have an allergy.
