Ordered a large bowl with sushi rice, garlic oyster tuna, spicy miso salmon, krab salad, edamame, nori strips, and corn. The bowl was light and healthy, which made it a nice meal choice when you don't want something heavy. The garlic oyster tuna had a savory and sweet flavor, and the spicy miso salmon added a tiny bit of heat. The krab salad, edamame, and nori strips gave the bowl texture and variety. That said, the portions were small for the price, especially considering it was a large bowl. While everything tasted fresh, I expected a little more for what you pay.

Fresh poke but scoops are small for the price! Got a medium for $20 and managed to finish it all since the portions were not very big. Also got a hot bowl- roasted miso chicken, which was good but kind of weird to taste chicken in my poke bowl. Sauces are good though. Limited seating with chairs too low for the tables.

Overall great experience and great food! Just wished they had water available. The worker gladly got some for me, but had to get it from the back. Loved how fresh everything was! So refreshing and satisfying.

I think for poke, the price point is high for their serving size. I feel like they could give more protein. It was still good, but I think it's a bit overpriced for what you get. Food was fresh, store was clean.

Food: I LOVE POKE BOWL!! We got free crab (not part of the 3 protein scoop)!! Not sure if it was because it was at special time/day? Service/Ambiance: The workers were really friendly and fast!!

Poke House has been my go-to spot for poke in San Jose for yearsss. The quality of the fish is consistently fresh and delicious. They also have a wide variety of toppings and sauces. I normally get the Scottish salmon as my protein, but this time I decided to try the spicy miso salmon and it did not disappoint! Service is always quick and parking is pretty convenient, as there's a big lot in the front. There's not too much seating inside, but there are a few extra tables outside.

I can't remember the last time I stopped by Poke House but I know for a fact it's been YEARS AND YEARS. Since I was in the area and have been having major poke craving, convenience kind of took over and laziness won. The menu itself hasn't really changed too much aside from price increases- totally expected btw. Extra points because I like how Poke House offer bowls catered to kids. Order: Kid's Crab Bowl $13.50 Build Your Own Bowl- Small $15.70 [half sushi rice, half greens] The ingredients seemed pretty fresh, work station was tidy, but the portions provided are small. While I do not expect mounds of food being scooped- especially when it comes to your choice of protein- but the designated scoops aren't even filled as you move along the poke assembly line. My daughter's 2 scoops of crab was CLEARLY unmatched. Thinking the girl would grab a bit more, I was left dumbfounded as she moved further down to the other ingredients. My bowl wasn't much different but the protein portions weren't as obvious as the crab. Food Breakdown: The sushi rice was not good. Not only was the sushi rice missing the distinct tart undertone, the rice was mush and clumpy. Whoever was in charge of cooking the rice failed. Fish tasted fresh but the flavoring honestly didn't do it for me- normally I eat my poke bowl as is and in this case soy sauce was needed. Crab was good & tasted as you'd expect. Quality and taste has only continued to dwindle. 2 Stars overall. 1 star because the staff was nice and another star because of the kid's menu offering. I personally won't be back but I'd make a return for my kid's meal.

I did a BYOB here and i think it's pretty good! Decent size bowl and I like how they don't put a limit on the number of toppings you want. They also have a pretty big selection of toppings that some places don't have like corn, pineapple, tomato. The imitation crab was on the dryer side though. For the price I would come back and fish tasted fresh too Not a lot of seating in the restaurant but I think most people take it to go

Poke House has become my go-to spot in the North San Jose area, especially since it's conveniently close to my office. The fish is always fresh and high quality, and I love the variety of toppings and sauces they offer. My favorite protein choices are the miso salmon and the garlic oyster tuna--both are packed with flavor. I usually go for the #5 sauce combo, which has the spiciest options, and it always hits the spot. Prices are very reasonable for the portion size and quality, and the service has consistently been fast and friendly. Highly recommend if you're craving poke!

I've been coming to Poke House for almost 5 years now and I still love it every single time I stop by. The flavor of the fish, the toppings and the sauces make this place stand out so much. I've tried other Poke locations and places similar but nothing comes even remotely close. For my fish lovers out there, this is the perfect spot to visit every once in a while if you're craving Salmon/Tuna/Shrimp! Fair pricing and amazing service every single time!

Whenever I crave poke, I go to Poke House. It's the restaurant that began my addiction for poke, in part due to their fresh ingredients and delicious sauces. My sister loves Tuna, so she always gets the Tuna Lover medium bowl. But I'm a little more picky, always opting for custom build-your-own medium bowl. For those interested, here's my go-to: - Sushi rice for the base - Octopus, spicy tuna, and spicy salmon for the protein - Corn, mango, pineapple, and a (free) scoop of imitation crab - Topped off with furikake and the citrus ponzu, sriracha aioli, unagi sauce combination. Sometimes I like to add a scoop of seaweed salad, but they charge an extra $2.00 on top of the rather expensive $17.95 base price. But regardless of what I get, I always enjoy it, especially their fish, though mangoes can be quite sour at times. But despite all that, I'll likely remain a loyal customer anyway, at least until I find a place that does poké even better. Cheers!

It was pretty good. Better than I thought for sure. Got two poke bowls. Fish was somewhat fresh and soft. The rice was not too hard and not too soggy. We got one Tuna and one Salmon, togo. Small was perfect for me, not full but satisfying. It isn't cheap but I wouldn't consider them expensive. Inside was clean. We didn't get any sauce. There was plenty of flavor as is. Workers were ok. Sometimes I get someone really friendly and other times I get someone that isn't as nice. But this is our neighborhood poke place so we come fairly often. Good for when you're wanting poke quick.

I also liked how seaweed salad was included as a topping! The portion size is good for the price you pay. One thing I would change is that the sushi rice was more on the colder side and I would've liked it to be room temp/warmer like how other places have it. I had spoken with the owner at the time--who was very kind--and based on that interaction, I chose to take my earlier review down. Unfortunately, this experience left me just as disappointed as before. I placed an order through DoorDash and received it about 45 minutes later, which I understood since the app noted they were busier than usual. No issue there. The problem started when I checked the receipt on the sealed bag--it had my name and all the correct ingredients listed. However, when I opened it (and it was clearly still sealed, so not a driver issue), it turned out to be someone else's order entirely, with completely different items. This is very similar to my previous experience, where part of my order was missing altogether. At this point, it's hard to justify giving them another chance. It's especially frustrating because the food itself has been great when it's correct. Issues like this point to a lack of quality control, whether that's from insufficient training or not taking enough care when preparing orders. Poke isn't cheap, so when mistakes like this happen--especially more than once--it's incredibly disappointing. Sadly, this will likely be the last time I order from here.

I really appreciate that the team carefully followed my instructions and customized the bowl exactly as requested. However, I felt that the sauces were lacking. At other locations, this mix usually delivers a noticeable kick and depth, but in this case, it tasted under-seasoned. Additionally, some parts of the rice seemed a bit hard. Not sure if the rice was sitting out for a while. Overall, I'd rate this experience 4 stars. The accuracy of my order and the variety of toppings were great, but the flavor and rice texture could be improved. I will give it another try by ordering in-store to see if there's a difference.
