Happened to be in the area today and noticed a poke spot that I haven't tried. The inside is clean, plenty of seating, and had cute decor. The great part is that it wasn't too busy, but at the same time I'm wondering why? The lady working didn't come off as friendly at all, and I felt pretty awkward choosing my food items. The poke is tasty, the add ins are fresh, but the bowl is smaller than some places and she was pretty stingy with the raw fish proteins. I came here for raw fish, not rice and salad! Overall for the price I paid, probably wouldn't come back again. There is another poke place closer to home for me and larger portions.

What a cute little hidden gem in the shopping center. Great poki, great selection/ choices for toppings. Superb and super kind customer service. I love this place, highly recommend. Busy shopping center location but plenty of parking. A few tables inside. I love that they have additional items with poki such as miso soup and a couple of rolls. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try.

Hands down the best Poki I've ever had! Okay, so I'm not a Poki enthusiast but I know what good food tastes like and if something is fresh or not. Poki Run's bowls are made with extremely fresh ingredients with zero smells or the old fishiness flavor. I ordered a large bowl with half rice, half mixed greens, crab, hamachi and tuna. You get 5 scoops with the large bowl. For sauce, I had the spicy mayo. I ordered over the phone and the gentleman helping me was extremely helpful and patient with me. When I arrived, the bowls were bagged and ready for me. The service is really good and they are friendly. The restaurant is very clean, well lit and welcoming. I love the simplicity of the overall white theme, easy to read menu and ordering. For two large bowls with avocado, the total was about $46. Although that's a bit pricey, what isn't these days? I think Poki Run Fremont should be rated higher than 3 stars. My constructive criticism would be to make the portions slightly larger without increasing the costs. It seems to be the main issue most people are having. Nobody likes to eat out and still be hungry when their meal is done. I will definitely be back in the future when I'm craving Poki.

My new go-to poke place to cure my poke cravings during lunchtime. Friendly staff, clean seating area, and fresh ingredients. This is your typical poke parlor, nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary. The price can be arguably high for the portion size but it was enough for me. No complaints here - will certainly return :)

My favorite thing to order is the mixed greens Poki bowl. Amazing!!! Customer service is on point and the place is overall good vibes!

A place that started out okay despite being on the pricier end but was filling is now very stingy on their portions. I come here occasionally because I always forget why the previous experiences weren't that great =] After every visit I remind myself to visit other shops instead lol... so here's a note to me in the future .. go somewhere else $13.95 for 3 scoops and this includes crab and seaweed salad.. SEEMS like a good deal, but it's really not. I was focused on my options for toppings and didn't pay attention to how my meal was prepared ... they are extremely stingy on their protein scoops.. I wouldn't even call it a scoop .. safe to say my bowl was filled about 75% at best. I distinctly remember the server putting on gloves when I started my order. But some how towards the vegetable section they disappeared...

I love Poki Run! The fish here is always fresh and somehow tastes so much better than other poki places. They have a variety of different proteins including snapper, hamachi, spicy salmon and tuna. Service is always quick and friendly. I ordered the roll combo that comes with three scoops of poki and California roll made to order. Prices are fair - regular bowl is $16 and the combo with the Cali roll is $20. Makes me sad that those who gave poki run a poor review because of small portions for the price don't understand that these are different times and supply chain prices are up everywhere. Parking is easy and conveniently close to many grocery stores and shops.

Comparison for how tiny the bowl is. $20.

Came to Poki Run on a weekday afternoon. The line was short, and i was able to order immediately. I chose a "small" bowl. Which was definitely "small." I chose salad with shrimp and octopus as my proteins. Won't name all the toppings, because there are way too many, but i did add the extra $1.50 avocado. I got to the register and i was shocked that the tiny bowl came to about $20. I would never in my life pay $20 for a poki bowl. Especially as small as that. Also, where it said "tip," i guess i pushed the wrong button, and then my total was $24. I could have had a steak lunch for that price. Will never go to that establishment again.

Nice little spot in central Fremont at The Gateway Plaza that has been here for a few years. They have great Poki bowls with fresh proteins which is the primary reason I like them. They don't have pretty much the standard selection one would expect for a Poki bowl. Clean restaurant, average prices, good food and nice people.

Their menu & prices as of April 10th, 2020.

They are located in the busy plaza in downtown Fremont, at the north corner of Paseo Padre Pkwy. & Mowry Ave; near Walgreens, Chipotle & Peet's Coffee. Parking is plentiful here, but it can get busy during the lunch hour. This Poki place is pretty similar to other locations in their style & food item selections. The interior is pretty small, so they're not designed to have too many people to dine-in, but they are perfect to take your Poki bowl to-go. They are a little more expensive for their smallest bowl, which was $13.06 out the door; but it does come with a 3rd protein item and avocado is a free side item. Their portions are decent and they are delicious. I will definitely return here for my lunch breaks, but just occasionally; whereas $13+ for their smallest Poki bowl is pretty pricey.

Hmm.. $17.95 for a regular bowl now?! seems pricy for three scoops of protein, considering the fact that they skimp on the protein (such small scoops). Quality is still great, but probably not worth it for the price anymore. Sad :(

Large bowl to go for 17.40 after tax. The bowl is filled up only 70%.

Bad customer service and super stingy with their portions, as previous reviews have mentioned. They use small plastic spoons for the toppings instead of the normal scoops that other poke places use, and will charge you if you ask for extra anything. Paid $17 for a large bowl that wasn't even filled up all the way and I was still hungry after (for reference I am a 5 ft girl with not that big of an appetite). I can honestly say that I get a bigger bowl with more food when paying for a regular at other poke places. Save your money and go somewhere else that'll actually give you your money's worth.

Yummyyy, got the regular size with mixed greens, salmon, & tuna!

I don't know why I didn't start coming to this place sooner! The quality is great & the service is wonderful. Quality/ Food: The quality was great & yummy. The fish was decently fresh. My favorite part about it, complimentary seaweed salad, avocado, & crab! COMPLIMENTARY. Haha I'm so frugal at times, so any free add-one, I'm all about it. A lot of places tend to charge for the add-ons, especially the avocado so this place is amazing for going the extra mile & making it part of the free add-ons. Lots of choices to to choose from too here! I got my go-to salmon & tuna. Service: The lady that rung us up was so so sweet & helpful. I have a soft spot for sweet older ladies, so had to give her an extra tip. Even though they were close (ish) to closing, she was still so helpful & in a good mood. Parking: This place is in a plaza with lots of other stores, so parking is super easy & there's lots of parking. Love this place! Love the sign!! Haha. I'll definitely be back! :)

I almost wanted to gatekeep this place, but it's too good not to share. Poke House in Warm Springs…read moreis hands down one of the best poke spots around. First off, they're very generous with their poke and topping scoops. The fish is fresh and the sauce combinations are very delicious. Just a heads up that avocado and seaweed salad are extra here, but they also give a free scoop of crab salad with every bowl, which is a great bonus. They're also super generous with the toppings overall (pineapple, mango, etc.). The staff is incredibly friendly and happy to let you try samples if you're deciding between options. Another great perk is their points/rewards system, so if you come often you can earn a free bowl. There's some indoor seating for about 12-15 people, and usually there's space, but it's also a great spot to grab takeout and enjoy at home. Highly recommend if you're craving a solid poke bowl in the area!

I've come like twenty times in the last two years and the food never disappoints!…read more Pros - Super fresh fish - Lots of toppings like edamame, corn, cucumber, crab salad, seaweed, sliced almonds, etc. etc. - Brown/white rice AND salad as base, very flexible with combinations too - Rice is a good texture - Zoodles - Veggies are all very fresh - Great sauces, I recommend the shoyu - Clean and friendly atmosphere - Friendly staff, not much interaction (Chipotle levels for reference) Cons - A little pricey, so I don't go often Overall a must-try as it really scratches the poke itch, and does it even better than all the poke I've had in Hawaii.

UPDATE, My last…read moreupdate was flagged because I did not include details, so here it goes. This was my exact reply to the owner who reached out to me only AFTER my update 5 years later. Hello Sir, The sentiments I shared in 2021 were pretty descriptive and I don't think I left any room for assumption. The extremely unprofessional service, sub-par food and the entire experience till this day, nearly 5 years later makes me so upset. I have young children that I take to get ice cream at Cold Stone right next door and whenever I see your shop it brings me back to such a poor example of how a small business should treat residents in the community. The fact that it took you a second bad review as a follow-up goes to show that you didn't care about my review the first time and its purely "optics" that matter to you. I see that you flagged my follow up, but I'll be sure to update it properly without the hateful messaging. For that I do apologize. For everything else, I do not. I'm a firm believer that your staff and team are a direct reflection of you and your business. If the kids working for your shop are family or personal friends, or they still work there, then I rest my case. And to add, the food wasn't horrible, It was mediocre. What made such a lasting and NEGATIVE IMPRESSION on me and my family was the way your employees treated YOUR customers. Rude, without care and as if it was a burden to serve them. Again, I was a new homeowner at the time I visited your shop and had such high hopes it would be a place I could take my family for many years to come. Rest assured that will never be the case. Like my first review mentioned, I don't come on here often. And if I do, it's because I want to really thank the service of outstanding businesses and business owners. Till this date your shop is the only place I've ever taken the time to write a negative experience. Good Luck to you and your business and I hope you train your staff to remember that all human to human interactions matter.
