The food is great! I always come to this place when im in a mood and it helps me get right back into my day. Me and my bestie come here REGULARLY. Best poke spot in the bay HANDS DOWN! :) And the people who work there are always so nice, some of them even remember my order by now haha Oh and we always sit at the same 2 chairs, the place isn't huge but my god it's such a find. Their ice cream is pretty bomb too. If you're a fan of matcha I recommend the Matcha one it is SOOOOOO good. read more

Ordered through Uber Eats a large poke. Choose spring mix as one of my base but it came with white rice instead. On top of that I also requested sauce on the side with gochujang but it didnt came in the bag. Called them and no one answer. read more

Got the tuna poke bowl and loaded it with all the toppings and all sauces mixed in. Extra Sriracha aïoli always ! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Great portions, lots of options, and definitely hit the spot. Made two meals from the portion given. Service was good and quick. I was in and out! Thanks! read more

I have been going to this place for years. One of the better poke places in Fremont. The fish is always fresh and they have expanded their menu choices. read more

Great poke spot with easy online ordering! I've placed two online orders and it was easy to pick-up. I had a craving for poke while pregnant but can't have raw fish so this spot was great as they have a lot of cooked options such as salmon, shrimp, eel, crab meat, etc. The topping options are good as well. I usually always get multiple sauces and ask for tsunami, which is a lot of sauce but my bowl is usually a little bland for my liking so I always add some soy sauce and sriracha. I've also ordered the spam musubi which isn't worth it as there's a lot of rice. Their pricing and portions are fair. Good spot for some decent poke in the area. Overall, I'd recommend this spot! read more

I got my pokē bowl to go since I was on my lunch break. But I was greeted almost immediately and was greeted warmly. I didn't have my glasses or didn't pay attention to the main board for poke options so I went with one of the favorites and chose the Ocean Mix bowl and have no regrets, it was so delicious and filling. I definitely recommend trying it if you're feeling adventurous! If I was able to eat there I totally would've. There was a long communal table and a table for 3 so hopefully next time I can enjoy the food, more fresh read more

First time trying this place with the temperature rising. It's going to be a debate whether I want to come back, which is a shame since it's so close to my place. The Good: - Generous servings - Good amount of topping options - Food tastes fresh - Clean environment The Bad: - The Ahi Poke mix tasted very sour, to the point that it started to overwhelm the taste of the other ingredients. - Seaweed salad, mango, and avocado all cost extra. - The corn had no taste. - The staff member who served me made it feel like I was a bother. read more

My children never want me to buy them poke bowls anywhere else. This is a very comfortable and clean place. I have been buying poke bowls from Sunfish for many years. Once a while I grabbed the poke bowls for my kids at other places. They were so upset and told me please only get them from Sunfish. Why? They said nowhere else make poke better than Sunfish. I even mentioned to other people and whoever tried before agreed with me. There are different types of bases with brown rice, sushi rice, salad, etc..and toppings to add on. Without advertising more, you should give it a try. read more

Fresh sashimi and great service. Good sized menu. Staff is friendly. Has ice cream in the same store which is a bonus!

I enjoyed their wraps. It's like a sushi burrito. I would describe it as a poke bowl in a tortilla. It's a small restaurant that gets crowded during lunch. The person who made my wrap was very nice. read more

This is the kind of poke place where you should get your meal to go, the space is small but the food quality is absolutely amazing. I ordered a regular bowl which came with three proteins, two bases (I got a mix of salad and white rice) along with the masago, crab salad, and various dry toppings. All items are fresh including the crab salad, which is a hard find since many crab salads that are offered in Poke places are either intimidation or small in portion, but with Sunfish Poke you get a bang for your buck. There was even a deal for onigiri for 0.99! It was a bit salty and I honestly wanted more tuna filling but it's still a great bite for the price you get. We also got the spinach wrap and it was huge. It was okay in terms of flavor, however I'd rather choose their poke bowl. If you were to get a poke bowl, you must get these sauces: creamy cilantro and sriracha aioli. Spicy, creamy, and packed with wonderful flavors. They simply mix so well together. I took it to go and packed it with more sriracha. The service was great, however, depending on the employee that serves you, you might either get a lack of protein, the right amount, or an overload lol. This is my go to place for Poke. read more

I've been eating here for years, this place is great! My company is right down the block and everyone comes here at least once a month (one of the guys is once a week). The Vietnamese coffees are very good too! There is usually never a wait, they are always quick. read more

Service is really good. Food tastes fresh and good! Workers are very friendly and portions are big.

The portions are quite rice-heavy, but overall, it's a good value. For $11.80, you get your choice of three different handrolls. I went with the California, Spicy Tuna, and Unagi, and the Unagi was definitely my favorite. read more

This is one of the best poke places I've been to. I really like how the place is set up inside since it matches the theme of poke. Though that it's quite dark inside, you can see how clean the place is inside. Poke bowls come in regular (3 meats) and large (4 meats). Not only that it serves grilled meats but also desserts too. I like how they serve it in a plastic container rather than a brown cardboard lookalike one. The food is really delicious and fresh. I can taste all the flavors from all ingredients. I probably should return for desserts soon. Maybe get the ones that are grilled this time haha read more

The ice cream was super creamy snd the ambiance was amazing!! The service was beyond good and helpful!

This is probably the best poke bowl I have ever had. Every part of this bowl was so well seasoned and no matter the combination you select it all worked really well. I had a regular bowl with half sushi rice and salad. 3 protein options were the cooked salmon and 2 portions of shrimp. The creamy cilantro sauce was sooo good, I didn't know creamy cilantro would go well in a poke bowl but it was perfect. The location is really clean and clean he service was quick. They weren't the friendliest but it wasn't unpleasant either. All and all I will definitely be back for lunch when in the office. read more

What a rip off of a place. Wanted to try a new poke spot out and landed on this place. Order: large bowl w/ half rice & greens. All Salmon The bowl was practically all rice. A tiny bit of greens. However, the worst part was the lack of fish they put in. You expect for a large bowl they would provide a good amount. If you reference the photos attached, The amount of salmon or lack of salmon can fit in my spoon. The food was decent, but seriously go to another poke place. The amount you pay does not add up to this lackluster of a "poke bowl" read more
