The cutest little spot, that has more to offer the. Just mochi donuts!! Quick service, good food.

We tried the raspberry swirl and blueberry mochi donuts - both were great and had a nice bouncy, chewy texture. Service is fast and they accidentally brought out the wrong flavors and were quick to change it for us. Great spot if you're in the area although they are pricey compared to a traditional donut.

This mochi donut shop is located in the Fremont food hall along with two other storefronts. We ordered on the kiosk and got our donuts pretty fast. I'd def recommend eating this when you get it right away. It tasted very fresh - light crunch on the outside with a chewy inside. I ordered a box of 8 for home and it still tasted good but the next day, the donuts were a lot softer (still tasty though!) I'm hoping they'll have different flavors as they get their footing, but the assorted flavors they had on grand opening day were pretty good!

Soft opening yesterday at Fremont Food Hall so we gotta give it a try since Gronut is closed and we need to get our mochi donut fixes. Clean environment and next to the Korean corn dog and Cafe. Maybe it's soft opening so on my 5 flavors available, we got the 8 donuts option, average to be $3.5/donut. Donut texture is more soft, good balance of chewiness and the glaze. Staff service to be improved, not very well trained, initially gave me the order with broken box and let the order sit on the counter for a while, she didn't call me until I ask if that was my order. Overall, all acceptable soft opening mistakes and hope they continue to improve.

It's a really good donut shop to go to. They also serve snacks and rice plates. They may have limited items from the menu for now just like the rest of the vendors in Fremont Food Hall. The glaze from the donut isn't as hard and I quite prefer to put them in a paper that only side was left open (not two) to get the donut. The yakult tastes good, but they also let us have an option to remove the sprite soda. Not really that great tbh, but it's good enough for people to try mochi donuts if they never tried them yet. Probably should remove soda the next time I have yakult again to get more flavor from it.

We got three mochi donuts for sharing this past Saturday, ube, strawberry, and dark chocolate glaze. They were the perfect texture, nice and chewy. The glaze on top added just the right flavor to sweeten these yummy treats. It was a good snack before our drive out to Sacramento for the day. And service at the counter inside Fremont Food Hall was quick and easy, with plenty of seating available for dine-in.

Our kids absolutely loved the donut! The shape was adorable, and the texture was incredibly soft with every bite. The cream on top had just the right amount of sweetness--not overpowering at all. We also loved the packaging--the cute pink box made it feel extra special. Our daughter even thought it was a gift box with a toy inside!

I got a blueberry mochi. It was a perfect simple dessert. The mochi consistency was good and flavor wasn't overly sweet.

Smochi is located inside the Fremont Food Hall. A cute little place that I wish got more recognition. Inside you'll find 3 businesses, and friendly people with lots of seating. I ordered a 4 pack for $15 of mochi donuts. They were delicious and I always stop in when I'm in the area. Definitely try this place.

Wow, the blueberry bits mochi donut is the best so far. Tried the orange creamsicle the other week and that was nice. Definitely would come back to try other flavors. Easy ordering at the kiosk and they'll call out your name when it's ready. Staff was friendly.

good mochi donuts! friendly service who told me what the best selling flavors were and her favorites and quick waittime. they taste like what youd think theyd taste like but what i really like is how the frosting on top isnt too sweet!! love the fruity oebble one

This is a worthwhile donut shop, also offering snacks and rice plates. Like other vendors in the Fremont Food Hall, their menu may currently have some limited availability. The donut glaze isn't overly hard, and I prefer storing them in a partially open paper container. The yakult is flavorful, and they offer the option to exclude the sprite soda. While not exceptional, it's a decent place to try mochi donuts if you haven't before. Next time I have the yakult, I'll likely opt out of the soda to enhance the flavor.

Donuts were fresh and tasty. Purchased six donuts and a variety of flavors. Especially liked the churro flavor.

My boyfriend got the fried chicken steak plate and it was good and a really big portion. I got the spicy chicken melt and it was really good and tasty plus really big portion. If you want to eat at a place that has good quality and a big enough portion to either share or take home for leftovers then this is the place to go. There were some notable things that we stumbled across in our dining experience. I had noticed that one of the utensils wasn't washed properly so there was a dried up piece of vegetable or something stuck on it. Also I requested my burger to be cooked medium but when I received my order, it was more so well done with no pink in the middle. One of the two pork chop was cooked great, while the other was a little dry and chewy. Regardless, these were things that didn't warrant calling over a server. The thing that mainly put a stain for our restaurant outing at Skillet'z was the service. Upon walking in we were not greeted with a friendly welcoming and when seated they quickly walked away. The lady who took our order did not even look like she wanted to be there, granted I understand that nobody really enjoys having to go to work but if you need to interact with customers, maybe this isn't the occupation for you. While we were eating there was not a single time that anyone came up to us to ask us how we were doing, if we needed anything, or how the food was. There was a moment where it was someone's birthday at another table and I don't think I've ever heard a more unenthusiastic and monotone announcement for a birthday and a lame excuse for a birthday song. They're not going to bother with dropping off a check/bill for the meal so you need to go up to the counter to pay for the food. Once you step up to the counter keep in mind that more than likely you will encounter a rude interaction and a feeling that you were inconveniencing them. Overall I'll more than likely eat from here again, primarily for the food. But maybe next time we'll consider just taking out to go.

I tried to take pictures of everything, but a lot of customers were sitting at different tables. So I only have a couple of the beautiful mirrors pictured. Their seasonal ice brew coffee changes, which I love and the current one is this Latin American iced coffee that literally taste like chocolate! A staff member greeted me when I came in and let me know I could order at the cash register when I was ready. I ordered a large frozen caramel latte and they made it immediately. The drink was well blended and the large size is 24 oz, so good portion there. The paper menu needs to be updated though, because it listed the drink price as $6.15 but I was charged $6.50.
