Their plain donuts are so good. The parking can be tough since there are only a few spots. Also I had to U-turn to get in, depending on which direction you come from. Service was fast and friendly. I would come again to try their Vietnamese coffee. Ambiance is extremely casual, just a normal donut shop. If I am around this vicinity, I would come again. Will not purposely drive over here to get the donuts.

Solid donuts and turnovers served fresh at this mom and pop shop in this little rundown corner of town. Yes, it's not the most welcoming looking dingy lot, but the lot is frequented by locals and commuters looking to grab a quick snack so there's a lot of churn and the food is quite good. From the outside, Niles Donuts looks nothing spectacular but when you enter, you'll be immersed in a clean establishment with friendly staff and great looking baked goods and pastries ready for immediate consumption. There's also coffee still sitting hot on the side and smoothies and frappes just a blend away. If you have more appetite than a sweet treat, you'll have the option to order breakfast or lunch sandwiches served on bagels or huge croissants. They also have egg rolls with chicken, pork, or shrimp filling to round out your hearty meal. The highlights for me in terms of the sweets have to be their abundance of turnovers sprinkled with rock sugar and filled with a variety of jam flavors. Their chocolate frosted donuts are also very good. The chocolate is rich but not too sweet, however like all chocolate, they don't survive the heat well so on a hot day, you may opt for something less melty. The prices are reasonable if you factor in the size and quality of their donuts. Their raised and cake donuts are delicious. Overall, the donuts here are great and the service is quick and efficient. The location isn't the best but most likely you'll be in and out and on your way to enjoy your goodies elsewhere. If you're in the area and looking for a sweet pick-me-up for you or the crew, Niles Donuts has got you covered!

If you blink you'll miss it. Friendly donut spot that sells a killer breakfast sandwich and they are not stingy with the protein. Ive been to one that about a block a way, $3 more than this place with way less protein. I'm glad I finally made the stop here. I will most definitely come back. Coffee is on point. Donut holes hit the spot as they always do. They also sell other Asian meals there. Eggrolls, spring roll and many more. Come on in folks! I promise you won't regret it

Best place to go to in the morning, Delicious and fast !!!! Always ready to accommodate my needs. If they run out of something they will hurry and make it with a timely manner. Everything is YUMMY here!!!!!!! Every time I walk in they always greet me with a smile and ask how me and my family are doing , that makes me feel very welcoming and makes this place feel family oriented. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Niles Donuts just a country block from the train tracks! Coconut and Green Tea Cake Donuts! Cheap! Fresh!

"And I wonder if I ever cross your mind. For me it happens all the time..." - Lady A. Yes, I admit I do love country music. Especially those lonely, jilted lover songs *sigh*. So, I've been on this crazy schedule at work the past "no life" month but looks like we're finally caught up! And yes, I need to invest in more than six briefs! Of course I'm driving through tri-city and jonesing for the D... It's a quarter after one. I'm a little drunk and I need you now. Said I wouldn't call, but I lost all control And I need you now... Donuts! Yeah, I'm sure you were thinking that D lol! Anyways, on this early weekend morning I decide to check-off my list... Niles Donuts. It's located on Mission Blvd in the historic Niles district, jus' about a country block from the train tracks... really! Just look for the 7-eleven and bum and you're there! Nothing fancy, but a cute 'lil spot serving donuts, coffee, and lumpia lol. Yes, I was surprised with the later, and now as I'm miles away regret not picking up a couple. I did pickup a coconut cake, green tea cake donuts, and house coffee. The fresh donuts and the coffee definitely hit the spot for this Cowboy on the run. Again, nothing fancy about the spot, nothing extravagant about the donuts, but affordable and not yesterday's bunch! Yes I'd rather hurt than feel nothing at all. I just need you now. Oh baby I need you now... In the end, I recommend Niles Donuts in the historic Niles district if needing the D. Of course you know what D I'm talking about.. Oh baby I need you now;)

You can get VIETNAMESE COFFEE and EGGROLLS here! Small classic donut shop right in the small plaza turning into Niles. This is the closest place I can think of that has "authentic" Vietnamese coffee like something you would get at a cafe in East San Jose. Its a delicious, cold, and vibrant way to get your day started. The eggrolls were not my preference, I thought they might be like Vietnamese eggrolls but they were more chinese-takeout style with cabbage. They do have ground meat in them and come with the sweet-and-sour dipping sauce but these are my least favorite style of eggrolls though they were crispy and packed with ingredients. Donuts were OK, nothing was wrong with them at all and they are way better than anything you can get at grocery stores but there are better local donut places. The ladies that work here are very sweet and kind, very friendly and will get your day going with positive vibes.

Atmosphere: I LOVE the small town vibes. Same 2 ladies always run the place. They know regulars by name, favorite order, and even details of families and travel plans!! The community makes it a very pleasant place. The inside is covered in vibrant, eye-catching murals (from a young woman artist who passed away - Fremont lore the owner can share!). There is equally colorful, mismatched, but endearing tables and chairs. The patio is huge and shaded, with many beautiful plants and cute deco! One down side is its loose sand and can be dusty. 2. Drinks / Food Drinks are insanely priced! Smalls (12 oz) are $3.80, and Larges (20 oz) are $5.50. Loved the Vietnamese Coffee (my go to now) and thought the mocha was decent. They offer lots of different breakfast and lunch foods - toasts, omelettes, sandwiches, soups, and salads. I can't eat most of them, but the bread smells SO good! 3. Amenities Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, with wifi and outlets inside. Great place to study or work from home! Indoors tends to be a little busier, so I typically sit outdoors. There's parking outside with no time limit; later in the day it fills up but there's residential parking available on the same street. There is a bathroom that is a bit cramped, but functional. Overall a great, mom and pop cafe in Fremont!

Immediately upon entry, you can see the huge display of neatly arranged donuts, malasadas, and pastries and they all look amazing! So many flavors to choose from that it was a little overwhelming. As others have said, the price point is around $5.50 per piece so have that in mind going in. Ordering was simple enough and servers were kind and patient. Parking is maximum 3 hours and there are some tables and chairs outside to sit and enjoy your goodies. Overall, I think I'm still going to stay loyal to Doughweime in Union City, but these malasadas do live up to the hype. Everything bagel malasada: Surprisingly really good, a light cream cheese filling with everything bagel seasoning on the outside. And the texture of the savory donut was crispy and airy. 9/10 Strawberry cream malasada: Kind of plain, would've been good with strawberry bits inside. 7/10 Biscoff cream malasada: You can taste the real Biscoff crackers in the filling. 7.5/10

Visited Tyme for Tea for the first time this holiday season. The minute you step foot inside,…read moreyou're welcomed with cozy, charming, and festive vibes. The business is both a tea room and shop with tea ware, decor, vintage clothes, and other items for sale. Reservations are a must and my family was seated promptly at 1:30pm. The menu has two tea options and we each opted for Victorian tea. They present the scone first on a separate plate rather than on the tiered tray. The scone was delicious nonetheless, served warm and with three spreads: cream, lemon curd, and a seasonal maple butter which was a standout. The sandwiches were tasty and also served warm, with unique offerings like a cheese melt and mini quiche. My favorite was a cheese puff pastry item. The cucumber cream cheese sandwich was slightly hard to the bite (possibly overripe), but still tasty. The tea menu listed all flavor profiles and decaf options which I appreciated. I ordered a decaf blackberry sage English breakfast which went well with the scone and desserts (fudge, snow cookie, petit four). I enjoyed the warm scones the most, and the savory items second. This is one of the best value afternoon tea services I've found in the Bay Area for the price. Service was well paced and all parties were well situated so that everyone had their own corner. They even had a pile of a tea party hats to choose from towards the back wall. Overall, I would highly recommend Tyme for Tea and it's my favorite tea room I've tried in the East Bay. This business also perfectly complements the historic and charming qualities of the Niles neighborhood.
