We came to Rae Rae's inside Joe's Corner for Fremont's Restaurant Week 2026. My husband ordered their first Manhattan Flight of the event. He loved it so much we actually came back for him to get another Black Manhattan. We also got to try their food. The garlic fries were good. Decent portion size. The nachos were disappointing. There was not enough cheese and it was served on the cold side. The last thing we ordered was the pastrami sandwhich. Unfortunately it was pretty lack luster too. Not enough meat to cheese ratio and served on sandwhich bread. Rae Rae's is definitely more of a bar than restaurant. We would come back but only for the drinks.

It wasn't what I expected but in a good way! It was so casual, people had their drinks and walked around taking to each others. You order food and drink at the counter and someone will bring you the food but you have to grab your own drink. Seems like everyone knows each other here. I was not lucky to get table outside because there was a Bd party but I got seats at the bar in the front which that would do. Maybe another day, I can try to get a table outside again FYI, farmer salad with tuna salad add on and wings were great! Not to mention my rose(that was not in the menu) was good as well.

Joe's apparently has a new owner, but I never went there before, so I can't compare. The Wife and I stopped in for a late lunch, and found some items on the menu. I ordered fish and chips with a Guinness, and she had a chicken pesto sandwich, which had nothing on the side unless you ordered it separately. Both underwhelmed. I had two pieces of fish, one of which had a chewy, hard to bite through section, while the chicken pesto had very little flavor. The chicken wasn't well cooked. The waffle fries were unevenly cooked. The Guinness was nice. The service was very enthusiastic. The gentleman emphasized the freshness of the pesto and other ingredients. Fresh perhaps, but not tasty, unfortunately. The place was very clean, and smelled like fresh varnish had recently been applied. Just needs a kitchen upgrade.

Electric-Scooter and Electric-unicycle friendly!!!! the vibe here was very helpful and warm! Also pet friendly!!!!! exploring the alameda trail, i stumbled upon the perfect hang out spot for all my friends with PEVs. to our community, id consider this a gem because the alameda trail is like the hidden backroads to duck miserable traffic and bad drivers. im really glad i stumbled upon this local spot and im definitely telling alll my friends and coming back!!! i tried the Old Fashioned, the Rueben sandwhich, and the hawaiian beer(cant remember the exact name but it was delicious!) i reallly enjoyed my Fridays-eve over here!

Joe's Corner is a solid spot if you're looking for a laid-back place to grab a draft beer and unwind. The ambiance is chill--dim lighting, relaxed music, and a casual crowd that makes it easy to kick back and enjoy the evening. Service was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to check in without being intrusive. Definitely one of the highlights of the experience. As for the food? It was... okay. I ordered the portobello flatbread pizza, expecting a decent amount of mushrooms, but there just weren't enough to really make it stand out. The flavor was fine, but nothing that would bring me back specifically for the food. If you're here for the atmosphere and a good drink, Joe's Corner delivers. If you're after an unforgettable meal, you might want to explore the menu a bit more in my opinion

pastrami sandwich, pretzels, chicken nuggets

ehhh lol pretzels had WAYYYY too much salt - also they turned hard pretty fast chicken nuggets were interesting lol pretty soft on the inside & I couldn't tell what the breading was made of - after my first bite I literally inspected the nugget tm make sure it was even cooked ; menu also only listed one price for 6pc or 12pc but was verbally told that the 6pc is ten bucks & 12pc is like 14 bucks lol - honestly would rather have had 20pc nuggets from mcds for five bucks pastrami sandwich was very standard, prob could've made a better one at home lol the artwork murals were a lil weird but maybe cus this place has history ? I'm not from here so idk lol

Cozy neighborhood bar with an extensive beer selection (they even have San Miguel!). I ordered a pepperoni pizza to go with my beer, which tasted fantastic. Thank you to Alex and John for the excellent service!

This pizza is better than Italian pizzaria's.... New owners are great... the atmosphere is awesome and new owner is solid guy from Boston. Great beer taps and nice wine selection......Highly recommended!!!!!

5 Stars All Day This Is My Local Hangout Spot All of the people that works here is great even the owner is awesome he's a great guy always welcoming I come here every day and I always see the same people here makes me feel good seeing the same people every day us locals want to keep this place here in town for a really long time Being I Live Right Here In Town

The food here is not very good. I ordered the queso dip and it was literally Tostito's cheese from a jar. It would be too easy for them to put even a little bit of effort into producing a quality queso dip that involves real cheese and beans. Nothing on the kitchen or staff, they were great. They were nice enough to take it off our check. However, the owner's of this place have a standard of doing the bare minimum in terms of the dishes they are producing. The ambience is great. It's a nice place to gather for a social hour, just don't expect any good eating.

TLDR: Indoor & Outdoor Seating…read more Wifi & Outlets (Inside) Low Prices & Good Drinks Friendly & Warm Staff Plenty of Parking --------------------------------------- I've been to The Nile Cafe 3-4x, and the friendly staff, good coffee, and low prices keep me coming back! 1. Atmosphere: I LOVE the small town vibes. Same 2 ladies always run the place. They know regulars by name, favorite order, and even details of families and travel plans!! The community makes it a very pleasant place. The inside is covered in vibrant, eye-catching murals (from a young woman artist who passed away - Fremont lore the owner can share!). There is equally colorful, mismatched, but endearing tables and chairs. The patio is huge and shaded, with many beautiful plants and cute deco! One down side is its loose sand and can be dusty. 2. Drinks / Food Drinks are insanely priced! Smalls (12 oz) are $3.80, and Larges (20 oz) are $5.50. Loved the Vietnamese Coffee (my go to now) and thought the mocha was decent. They offer lots of different breakfast and lunch foods - toasts, omelettes, sandwiches, soups, and salads. I can't eat most of them, but the bread smells SO good! 3. Amenities Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, with wifi and outlets inside. Great place to study or work from home! Indoors tends to be a little busier, so I typically sit outdoors. There's parking outside with no time limit; later in the day it fills up but there's residential parking available on the same street. There is a bathroom that is a bit cramped, but functional. Overall a great, mom and pop cafe in Fremont!

Location is near the Mirchi cafe on Fremont Blvd in the plaza right next to Wonderland smoke shop. There is plenty of parking. Staff was super nice and helped me open the stuck door that you have to pull really hard on to get in. The market is small but curated and I was drawn to the imported potato chips. I picked up a bag of Lay's Masala chips I haven't had since I was in Mumbai, excited to eat it with my sandwich. The sandwich took about 10 minutes to make and panini-press and smelled delicious. However, when I got home I immediately noticed the color and thought they had mistakenly used roast beef. I looked at some of the other reviews and their doordash image and I'm confused on what I got. The pastrami was missing the distinct reddish-pink color from brining and black bark from smoking, I'm not sure how it was prepped in-house but it tasted like roast beef. I did enjoy the blueberry jam and pepperoncini combo.

First thing that surprised me was the size - it was certainly on the smaller side, especially compared to other sandwich places. Understandably their price is more affordable, but next time I would probably just size up. Flavor-wise, the sandwiches themselves tasted great and I had no complaints there. The issue was the bread. The Dutch crunch was a literal ROCK. On my first bite I actually had to stop and take the sandwich apart just to eat it more comfortably. I thought maybe it was just one, but both sandwiches had the same issue. Dutch crunch is usually a bit firm, but this was on another level. The mac salad and potato salad were solid for what they are, maybe a little more sour than I prefer, but still enjoyable. Huge props to the staff though. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. The lady at the counter even apologized for the wait, but it honestly wasn't long at all, under 5 minutes for me. The person packing my order also threw in two chocolate chip cookies, which I really appreciated. Would come back to give it another shot, just hoping the Dutch crunch bread is a bit softer next time.

I walked into this deli today hungry and wanting something very simple: a turkey sandwich on whole wheat. Instead of being greeted by a person behind the counter, I was directed to a kiosk. The kiosk was surprisingly limited and frustrating to use. I could not find an option for a basic turkey sandwich without scrolling through a long list of pre-built combinations that did not work for me. There was no easy way to customize and no visible option to simply order something straightforward. What made it worse was the complete absence of human interaction. There was no opportunity to ask a question or clarify an order. It felt transactional in the worst way. I was not alone. The couple next to me also gave up and left without ordering. We all walked out without ever speaking to a single person. If you are going to replace staff with kiosks, at least make the system intuitive and flexible. Sometimes people just want a simple sandwich and a quick, human exchange. I ended up leaving hungry and disappointed..

But don't think there are multiple locations...yet. Upon receiving my sandwiches, it was wrapped in a paper with their company logo, and from a quick glance it is super similar to the Jersey Mikes logo in terms of color, so it has a real familiar vibe. No hate just an observation. This used to be another restaurant (maybe even several) on the edge of an industrial zone/business park, but also not too far from several shopping strips. There's spacious seating inside, but in the later afternoon when I went, nobody was eating in. But quite a few take-out and third party pick-ups. I even saw a poster showcasing their catering aspect for common work lunches on the company dime. Good for them. Niles Canyon ($14.50/4*) I opted to up this to their combo meal which includes a bag of chips and a soda for another $5. So this was easily a $20 lunch meal without tipping yet. Pricey yes, but not because they are pricier than most, but that is just the going rate for eating a meal outside these days. $15 - $20 per person are common and anything under $15 is now considered cheap eats and getting harder to run into. This sandwich had slightly warmed up deli turkey that when stacked with the swiss cheese slices, kinda softened the cheese. It wasn't ooey gooey but the cheese wasn't firm and cold either. There was another layer of prosciutto as well which wasn't too noticeable but did add another dimension. I chose to go with the full produce choice, as I love the freshness of veggies to go with meat sandwiches. There was also a layer of fresh avo slices which lent a creamy richness to the bites. I tried one of their sliced breads to go for this sandwich, as I tried a sourdough roll for another sandwich that I got to-go for my work lunch the next day. That way I got to sample their bread offerings. Their sliced marbled rye bread is thick sliced, very soft and moist with a good bread chew. They use a good bread supplier for sure. On top of mayo and mustard which is common, they also put their Bomb Sauce which seems like a garlic-y spread of sorts. I can definitely smell it, but the taste isn't overly strong. I'd say super similar to Mr Pickles. Prosciutto Sandwich ($13/4*) This was an all-cold traditional sandwich. I took a couple of bites there to see how it was fresh from the counter, and I ate the rest the next day at work. I gotta say I liked it better the next day as all the flavors melded more together. Even tho the veggies get a bit mushier, I've always liked a well dressed salad sensation in sandwiches, kinda like a Muffeletta sandwich where it is refrigerated overnight, meant to be eaten the next day. Their prosciutto isn't the old school imported version, or at least I've never had one quite like it. I'm assuming a domestic version, even seemed more like cappicola to me as I sensed a tinge of fennel up in there. So pretty satisfied with my first visit. I'll definitely get sandwiches here again for work or day trip lunches. Pretty much on the same level as Togo's or Mr. Pickles, but just more local. With sandwich names as The Quarry Lakes, The Decoto and The Dumbarton, just pulls on my local lovin' heartstrings. Props.
