I can't believe I didn't know about this beautiful little gem in Niles. It's right off of the main street located off of I Street. Me and my mom went and had some lunch before our hair appointment. Super friendly staff and the food was amazing.

The Nile Cafe is such a homey, cozy spot! I opted for a half sandwich and salad, which I thought was a great portion for a good price! I love brie cheese, so this sandwich was perfect! We got seated very quickly in the garden, and they still checked on us frequently by clearing our plates, checking if we needed water, and asking us if we were enjoying our food. So glad to have found this spot in Niles!

Really solid little cafe. I've frequented it off and on for years and the quality and service have stayed consistently good. Prices here are reasonable and so are the portions. They lean on the smaller side but honestly, I like that. I don't always want a big ol' plate of food from the country way. This is the perfect lunch while you're out walking around the shops. I'm a big fan of the bacon and brie sandwich, also the basil mayo chicken is good too. I've had a few other sandwiches and some breakfast items, everything was good. The inside of the shop is super cute to stop and have a coffee. Also kid friendly, I've brought my 5 year old and got him French toast. Again, it was perfect that it wasn't a huge portion and my son highly enjoyed his food. I'll definitely keep coming back. Couple notes: - I've bought a loaf of their in shop baked bread a few years back. Not sure if they still sell the whole loaf but it was very good. - They used to be cash only but now accept. Venmo or card with a small fee added. - Newest menu photos attached. The selection hasn't changed much over the years but prices have gone up a reasonable amount per inflation.

BREAKFAST WITH QUIET SETTING The first time I came here was last year by accident. I went to another in Niles that had a long wait outside. I walked a couple of blocks away to find The Nile Cafe. I inside I looked at the menu and just ordered one item, which was Niles Au Lait. A year later I came back to The Nile Cafe for coffee and food. This summer I ate here three times. The first time was on a Friday morning. I decided to come that day because I felt coming to The Nile Cafe on Saturday would be too busy. I ordered a pear and fontina omelet. It sounded a unique combination of fruit and cheese in an omelet. The omelet was very light. The one thing that stood out was the homemade toast, which was doughy inside. For coffee I ordered the Nile au Lait. I liked my meal that day (maybe because of the setting) I came back the following day for breakfast. On Saturday there was a farmers' market at one of the parking lots. I wasn't sure If I would be able to find parking. I managed to find parking about a block away from The Nile Cafe. I decided to order two food items: French toast and Niles Special. I had to get the French toast due use of the homemade bread. I tend not to order French toast because it tends to be heavy. Something about the homemade bread from The Nile Cafe made it so addicting. The eggs scramble dish Niles Special is a filling dish of ham, tomatoes, sour cream, and avocado. Since I decided to get French toast for the Niles Special I decided to get hanfries, which are country-style potatoes, instead of toast. For coffee I ordered iced Vietnamese coffee. About a week later on a Sunday morning I came back to The Nile Cafe with my parents. I intended to get the sandwich Niles Mutt, which consisted of pastrami and ham, however for some reason I decided to order the Niles Special again. For the Nile Special I decided to get toast. For coffee I ordered hot Vietnamese coffee. The food is light and delicious at The Nile Cafe. None of the food I ordered stood out in flavor. The Nile Cafe is a nice eatery if you want a quiet meal in the Niles District.

Update: I finally came back to try their food today, had an early dinner yesterday so I woke up pretty Hangry this morning. With the recent rise in inflation I was pleasantly surprised that most of their brekky (breakfast) menu items were under $10, so I ordered their breakfast burrito that included beef/chorizo, scrambled eggs, potatoes, and cheese. I was actually blown away by how much I enjoyed the burrito the chorizo had such a great savory flavor that paired with the eggs and melted cheese such a hearty comfort meal. The ladies working here are still friendly as first time I came to try their viet coffee. Will need to visit again to try other menu items, but I definitely recommend trying the breakfast burrito+ viet coffee if you're here.

never knew there was an old town in Fremont--Niles! Stumbled upon this cozy little café for brunch and fell in love with its family-style vibe and old-school decor--felt like I stepped back into the 1940s. The menu is simple, so I went with French toast and a classic morning breakfast. The food was average, but I have to give a big shoutout to their homemade bread--absolutely loved it! A must-try. They even have a backyard seating area, perfect for a weekend morning meal. Great service, super friendly staff--definitely adding this to my go-to list!

Love Cleopatra and ancient Egyptian history, and absolutely adore Nile's. Was so excited to find this hidden gem on my walk today. I opted for the artichoke salad and brie/bacon sandwich. It was decent and simple. I really appreciate Niles small town charm, and finding a cafe just felt really special.

They made their own bread within this nice little cafe. We were surprised by the price since the interior looks quaint. The backyard garden seats were homey as well. Not too crazy about their coffee but it's a very nice place to be laid back and hang out with friends. The ladies serving us were welcoming.

Walked to niles cafe on a Wednesday. I want to revisit the lunch menu. I got the kale potato soup and Niles Mutt pastrami sandwich. I never knew they had a huge out door space in the back. This is no doubt a local Niles favorite.. and in my book if its loved by the people who live there its worth going to!! If you need to have lunch while visiting this historic town during lunch.. then definitely come here we have quality food at really the best price during times of inflation!!

Katie F.

Been going here for years, the food is always great and the ambiance and staff are even better. This is the first place I show to friends who visit from out of town!

The coffee is ok and the food is average. The woman owner was very impatient and not very nice to her workers.

The restaurant itself is in a nice plaza with plenty of parking, the restaurant is clean and looks like they had bar seating as well. On their special menu they had their strawberry matcha which I'm already a fan of, but this strawberry matcha is my favorite in all the area so far. The avocado toast was also very good, the red onion on top paired well with the avocado and cherry tomato, the fact it came with 2 eggs as well also justifies it as a meal in itself. I also ordered the half order or at this restaurant "fun" size I think Is what it said on the menu, of the tres leches French toast. It's also my favorite French toast because it's not overly sweet like some other tres leches' that I've had, the strawberries tasted very fresh too. The side sausage and bacon were good also however, the side link sausage it's not as greasy or salty as other places which I enjoyed a lot, because although it seems like hearty food it didn't feel heavy at all. Hope that Breeze Cafe stays around, bring everyone here. TLDR; awesome food, great service, try the strawberry matcha, and tres leches French toast

They have a large outdoor patio that is partly covered, and plants provided shade to some of the tables that weren't covered. I got the honey lavender latte iced and it exceeded my expectations. Both the lavender and honey were prominent, it was a good balance of flavors. I had taken a few sips after receiving the drink and then didn't drink it again until after all the ice had melted, and it didn't even taste super watered down. A lot of reviews mention parking in Apna Mandi's parking lot behind the cafe. However, the spots in that lot closest to the coffee shop have bright red signs saying "No Coffee Shop Parking" and that violators will be towed. I ended up following one of the reviews and parked in the Safeway plaza across the street. It would be nice if Hops & Beans clarified whether or not customers actually allowed to park in the lot behind the cafe, or any alternatives.

A staff member greeted me when I came in and let me know I could order at the cash register when I was ready. I ordered a large frozen caramel latte and they made it immediately. It was delicious -- if you like sweet drinks, you will not be disappointed. It was actually almost too sweet for me, and I'm the type to ask for extra caramel in my caramel lattes. The drink was well blended and the large size is 24 oz, so good portion there. The paper menu needs to be updated though, because it listed the drink price as $6.15 but I was charged $6.50. In addition to frozen (frappe) coffee drinks, they have fruit freeze drinks and juices. I was there at lunchtime during a weekday and there were people dining in. Super soft, broke apart easy. The gravy was a bit salty, and not much meat, looks like bacon instead of sausage. French toast was delicious, nicely caramelized on the outside, not too soaked in the egg mixture. I asked for strawberries and cream but got strawberries and whipped butter with it. The remodeled bank is really nice and there are fun areas on both stories to explore. The windows and old bank architecture are particularly nice and you get really nice lighting throughout the day. Will be back to try their pizza based on how good the breakfast was. Breakfast Burrito: Probably the best we've had in our area. This is our taste but we don't like them too big. Avocado, eggs, sausage, and potato wrapped in a thin tortilla. The salsa this came with was excellent. My wife and I actually split this and it was perfect portions for us.
