Poki Roll has been around for a while, but it was only through yelp that I was able to find it. This spot is a small, family-owned business. The best value is their "special combo", which is a small poke bowl with a "base roll" for $15.50. I upgraded to a medium bowl and my "roll" was a crunch roll. With their poke bowls, their small bowl is two scoops of protein, their medium bowl is three scoops of protein, and their large bowl is 5 scoops of protein. I have to say that I enjoyed my roll and my bowl, but my issue is that the scoops of protein are on the smaller side. The scoop is about the size of a knob of butter on a stack of pancakes. I was waffling between three stars and four. Even though I felt that what I ordered was delicious, I ultimately felt that the value and food experience was simply OK, which is three stars in the yelp scale. I do think that it's a good spot for poke and everything tastes good. If you're hungry, definitely go with a large bowl and don't overlook that "special combo" as it helps you maximize value.

Good poke. Fresh, and taste so authentic. The place is little and feels so homey. We came in the evening and it was pretty empty for sit down, the people helping us were helpful and nice. My husband and I had medium bowls, and my son grabbed a chicken teriyaki bento box.

Such a cute restaurant with amazing food. The service was great. Every question i had they answered and offered me different options. Can't wait to go back.

$20 for a large poke bowl is pretty standard but the fact that this place was so stingy with their add ons. 3 pieces of cucumber, two strings of carrots and so on. You're paying for the fish and veggies are not that expensive that they have to put so little. Disappointed. Also got the lychee slushie with boba and the boba was hard as pellets which means it's olddddd!

I love going to this poki place with my girlfriend because the pokey is really good and the owner himself is a cool dude and it's really adorable to unlike some other places

I always come here with my boyfriend and the owner is very nice. Good price for the proportion.

Some of the best Poki I've had hands down. It not only looks great, but it tastes amazing. I love how fresh the fish and salad/topping items are. The service was prompt and I loved how clean and artsy the space was inside. In the City of Cypress, this may seem like a hole in the wall spot from the outside but is truly a hidden gem! I enjoy eating here and highly recommend trying this spot.

Finally had the chance to try this spot today! I arrived at around 5pm and there was no wait. I ordered 3 poke bowls and 1 premium roll. The man who took my order was friendly and easily prepared each different poke bowl, and my premium roll was finished at pretty much the same time as the bowls were done. My salmon tasted fresh, and all the toppings were great quality too. There are lots of different options for toppings, and everyone enjoyed their food. I will definitely be back!

Can I purchase poke (just the proteins) here? How much is it per pound?

They charge by the scoops.

Do they have a kids menu?

No, they do not.

Can you call in your order?

I believe yes, you can.

Are specialty rolls still 30% off?

The prices on the menu boards inside the restaurant are the prices including 30% off. We have increased the prices of all menu items at the beginning of this year.

Great surprise! Opted for a 3 scoop poki and pleasant surprise offerings included tofu and sesame tofu as and yubu! Salmon albacore scallops tuna octopus shrimp spicy tuna were part of the selection Went with a half and half of brown rice and salad with jalantra (warned it be sour) and the sweet Hawaiian and eel sauces not advertised The person making the bowl was not skimping on fish or toppings and literally my 3 scooped bowl was filled to the top with lid and it was arranged so pretty making it even more appetizing! Total came out to 18.48 - definitely bowl shareable and worth the quality and portion received! The brown rice was warm and mixed with the sauces provided a sweet sour spice combo that was not overpowering to the fish and flavors overall Sesame tofu is a win! Somehow everything stayed in the bowl while consuming The gal helping me was incredible sweet and took her time making the bowl and being honest about the flavors of the sauces. Ensured I had everything to consume. Very welcoming and friendly she was. Would certainly return back to get yubu and try the other goodies!

Another entry to my quest to find the perfect Poke spot in Orange County!…read more If it wasn't for the crappy parking situation, Poke Haus would be my favorite poke bowl spot!!!! They've been around for awhile, but I only had the opportunity to check them out this past week! My first visit was Monday night - I believe - followed by my most recent visit a few days later this past Thursday. What really sets Poke Haus apart from other poke spots is the base options - in addition to your usual go-tos like white rice, brown rice, salad, Poke Haus also offers Somen noodles. Which is served cold - kinda like Japanese soba noodles - but reminds me more of bun (Vietnamese vermicelli noodles). This is a HUGE plus. Sometimes the white rice at poke spots isn't fresh - so it ends up dry and hard. Don't have to worry about that with somen noodles. They are almost the perfect base for poke bowls that I can think of. Portion sizes are great, regardless of whether you get the Small, Medium, or Large (which is enough for two people). Your pick of sauces including my favorites: sesame oil and spicy mayo. Toppings - here's another plus - Poke Haus does not charge extra for your first serving of avocado or masago - most places charge for avocado. There is a fully stocked drinks refrigerator right by the checkout area. Service is awesome - friendly, prompt and efficient. They acknowledged our long wait when I came during the lunch rush on Thursday. There isn't a lot of seating inside - mainly more of a grab and go sorta spot. Parking is messy. It's in a tiny Walgreens parking lot with parking spaces super close to each other, stalls that are too small, and to top all of that - Westminster drivers. Just be on guard and don't assume you've got right of way in this lot cuz driving etiquette goes out the window. Check out my yummy photos!

Pretty strange since I got there right when my order was supposed to be ready. And it just didn't taste right, usually poke just has that delicious combinations of flavor but for what I ordered everything tasted mild without much flavor and maybe the temperature of the food played into it. It's strange because poke is one of my favorite foods and I'm not sure if I've ever not liked a bowl. Maybe I'll give it another shot but first time here and it just wasn't great. Order: Brown Rice, Seaweed Salad, Sweet Onion, Cucumber, Edamame, Avocado, Pickled Radish, Crabmeat, 2  Salmon, Savory Tuna, Original, Haus, Sweet Shoyu, In the bowl, Green Onion, Ginger, Cilantro, Masago, Fried Garlic, Sesame Seeds.

He specifically requested this place As a mom, I was honestly shocked -- he's been a picky eater since he was little, so finding something he actually loves is rare. Of course we had to try it‼ It was my first time trying a poke bowl, and the ordering style is similar to Chipotle. I chose a medium bowl for $15.5, which included 3 choices of fish. Since I'm doing keto, I picked salad as the base, with salmon, tuna, and shrimp. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. Their Japanese tofu soup was only $2.5 with unlimited refills, which felt like a great deal too. Honestly, I've passed by this place so many times before because it looks pretty low-key from the outside... but thanks to my picky eater leading the way, we accidentally discovered a hidden gem.

Today, I went in at lunch time and ordered two bowls, each with half white rice and half brown rice. The young lady behind the counter let me know that they couldn't do that. When I asked her why, she said that it was their policy. She is not aware that I have done this very thing at this very restaurant many times before, but that's beside the point. It doesn't make any sense from a business perspective. It isn't a cost issue. I'm not trying to get anything extra without paying for it. I'm hungry and I'm in the mood to spend some of my hard-earned money on a meal that I would like to enjoy. I have neither the time nor the energy to try to convince the employee at the counter that not only is their company's "policy" nonsensical, but also that it interferes with how much I will enjoy the meal I just left. I don't know if I'll be back.
