This is my favorite place to go for poke. We've been coming here for years and it's always very fresh and tastes great! The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. I usually see an older Asian gentleman that runs the business. Now, it's a younger crew. They're not as friendly as the former Asian gentleman and his crew. So for me, the familiar ambiance is gone. The food quality is different now. I just don't think the flavor is there. My family were regulars here, but will probably search for another poke place. We would pass several poke restaurants to eat here, but now cannot find any reason to return. The previous owner ran a great business where the line would go out the door. I ordered off of Yelp so I didn't see how big the portions would be! Definitely would not have gotten a small bowl if I knew how how small a small is:( the poke is flavorful though, so that's a plus. The food was good but my order was wrong. I ordered a bowl with no seaweed salad because i'm on keto diet, i have to restrict a lot of stuff. Seaweed salad is a no no for keto and can ruin the diet. I only found out when i was going to eat it for dinner, the store already closed and nothing i can do about it. Had to throw the whole thing away because i can't risk getting kicked out of ketosis. Size My initial reaction was that the serving size is very very small compared to other places like Poki Yaki, even though it was filling enough. Fish Okay the amount of fish was just wayyy too little compared to others and the yellow tail had this weird part that was really dry and almost seemed cooked? Not the best quality. Toppings There were too many toppings that don't really go with poke such as canned peaches. The free avocado was really just a small spoon's worth, but the masago eggs were generously portioned enough so you can enjoy it unlike others that are stingier with it. Great food for great value. Poki Roll is a medium sized shop that offers "Create Your Own" poki bowl for very generous priced (at least compared to San Jose). They have karaoke rooms that you can walk-in and use for up to 2 hours but more if you reserve it. There is a table with seating so you could eat in the rooms as well. Besides the tasty food, their customer service is top notch. They'll welcome you in and bid you goodbye. An example of amazing service is when we were eating in the room and our gyoza order came out. They brought it to us and noticed the room lights were off so they turned it on for us and shut the door on the way out. read more

We used to go to North Shore Poke for the longest but since they shut down we resorted to this place and we couldn't be any happier! We loved North Shore but Poki Roll is definitely better in quality, price, and portion. Poki Roll always has fresh poke on deck and they never disappoint us whenever we come. And you have a variety of poke to choose from, not just your usual salmon and tuna. They have Albacore and Yellowtail poke!! So good! The best quality poke restauraunt in socal. Ive tried poke dozens of times all around los angeles, pasadena, burbank , oc. But this spot is by far the best in terms of its quality sourced fish, nice clean inviting atmoshphere with wifi, and the pricing is very affordable. Their small poke bowl starting just at $8.50. Ive also tried poke bowls in other upscale locations, but even then they offer only limited choices at a much higher price.
