Poke Bowl - Large (3 Proteins)

Great space with ample parking spots! There's even a drinks and dessert menu which I have not seen at other locations. The fish was very fresh and for those not into raw fish, they now offer hot plates.

Fresh Salmon Poke Bomb

The staff was super awesome. Shout out them! The place was brick, so bring a jacket cause it's cold. The food was not well executed. The bombs were delicious, not sure if it's cause they just came out, but they were really good. The Musubi was insanely bland and just weird. I make it at home and I eat it all the time it needs work. I eat a fair share of sushi and uncooked fish, there was something slimy about this one. The burrito is a really awesome concept but mine came out slimy as heck, I felt like I was eating an actual fish. We normally put down plates of food but I only made it to the halfway on this one. The owners need to do something about the recipes. The locals probably aren't familiar with the dishes they are eating but this could be much better.

I've only been here during lunch time but dinner time is really busy. They have a lot of take out orders as well. Plenty of parking in this shopping complex. It is a bit pricey but sign up for their rewards program and you get a free bowl

We'd been craving for Poke bowl and this is the closest to us with a fair diner reviews. It maybe under a chain but the stars in the reviews engaged us to drive here and tried. The place has this vibes that brings a good feeling to us the moment we walked in. Clean. Neat. Friendly staff. I have always ordered a ready bowl as I believe they have given a lot of thought about each meal on the board. I trust them that all ingredients in the bowl I picked complement each other. I was right! From carbs down to protein, sauces , veggies and toppings taste great as one whole thing. The Hawaiian soda is a good thing to get for a package experience. I'd never had the dole whip ice cream for a long time and it satisfied my cravings for a Hawaiian dessert. I can't help myself not to take home samples of their spam musubi and can't help not to eat right away when I get home . Definitely coming back to this place in order to try their other selections in the menu board. A recommended place.

Always a delight to come to Pokeworks. Luckily there is one in fresh meadows sort of close to me. Staff is always helpful, patient and polite. It's fast paced when it's busy so be prepared. The food is fresh to death and portions size is pretty big they don't skimp you. Inside: Very Clean and spotless

list of ingredients you get with ClassPass.

I seriously have an issue with this place. I used my ClassPass to order a Hawaiian poke bowl. all of the ingredients are listed. They are very strict and will only give you what is listed exactly on the ClassPass. If you were in there ordering a bowl without ClassPass, you could add all kinds of stuff without an extra charge. I understand that it's ClassPass and they want to be very strict with just the listed ingredients. However, on the ingredients listed it says that you're supposed to get seasonal crunch. I enjoy crunchy stuff in my Poké bowl. The guy refused to give it to me after I pointed it out. he said it it only comes with sesame seeds. I showed him the list of ingredients on the ClassPass. Clearly there were sesame seeds and then after that, it stated "seasonal crunch." I think it's a pretty crappy policy that you can't get what everybody else gets when they order a Poké bowl. Having said that, I respect it. So they should respect their own policy to give you all the ingredients that are listed. shame on this place.

Kind of new offering: Hawaiian chicken plate (chicken and rice served hot)

This is still the only poke place I visit in Queens, as their quality is consistent and everything looks fresh and clean. They started offering hot plates / bowls as well which is great for families with younger kids. I got the chicken plate for my kid, and it's good. I wish the macaroni salad wasn't spicy though, my kid wouldn't eat it. It would also be good if the salad can be replaced with something else from the poke side selections (eg edamame, corn).

Came on a weeknight to try a Poke bowl. Two proteins, unlimited add ins, sauces to top off for $17 after taxes. There were a few people ahead of me but the line moved at a good pace. I got a small amount of white rice, spicy tuna, spicy salmon, sliced onions, corn, edamame, shredded nori, fresh seaweed, salad mix, kale, green onions, garlic chips, onion chips, little sriracha aoli sauce, little cilantro sauce, chili crisps, Thai chili, mango, cucumber, cabbage, Serrano pepper. They mixed everything except for the rice, putting the mixed food on top of the rice. Good flavor, fresh. Definitely will return.

This particular business place has ample parking which is very convenient for costumers. They keep their place spotless, has a casual atmosphere but I have noticed that a lot of their costumers prefer their orders to-go. What I specially like with the food that they offer is fresh, costumizable, delicious, healthy and unique toppings/ingredients/sauce. They give a fair amount of ordered food when you order a bowl of poke. The food is delicious, flavorful, has a vibrant taste of the mixed ingredients and sauce. Prices are a tad higher than expected. I like that they incorporate fish like salmon or tuna in their poke bowl which is healthy. They also offer vegan option which is a plus for me. Their house made sauces are incredible, examples are the Pokeworks classic, Umami shoyu and Sriracha aioli. The staff are very nice warm, provides quick and fast service and they take their time to explain on what they offer. They can try to improve on giving a more generous amount on their food bowls. Or probably I was just thinking that it was not of sufficient amount because it taste really good. At the time that I came here they were offering a discount for all healthcare workers, just have to show your ID... lucky me .

Just got introduced to this the other day. And today's going to be my third time going back to back . Love the concept and basically getting sushi in a bowl !! Love it

Charred Terriyaki Salmon Plate
Cairo R.

My boss was ordering from here for the team for lunch so I had to choose something. I was a little nervous as I've never had any Poke before; but relieved when I saw there were cooked items as well. I ordered the Charred Terriyaki Salmon Plate. I'm really particular about my fish not tasting too fishy. I really like the flavor of the salmon. It has a almost grilled kind of flavor to it along with the teriyaki sauce, which was just a hint of sauce, but not drowning the fish. It was great combination with the white rice, The salad and the avocado. There was a small portion of a macaroni salad as well, which had a nice flavor. I was very satisfied with this dish and would order the same exact thing again. Plus the portion was a great size which filled me up, but was not overwhelming. Definitely recommend.

3 protein poke bowl

The poke bowl is delicious! This is my go to pokeworks. I usually order a 3 protein poke bowl to share with my girlfriend and it never disappoints. Somehow sharing always taste better than if I were to get a small order for myself. We usually get salmon, shrimp, spicy salmon, edamame, surumi salad, pineapple, mandarin orange, furikake flakes, garlic crisp, cucumber, hijiki seaweed, and Sriracha aioli sauce. This mixture is great balance of savory, sweet, with a bit of spicy! Even though we share, we often never finish. I have also tried the garlic spam masubi before which is also delicious. This time I decided to try one of their new items, the lobster dynamite poke bomb and my only gripe is that it was not fresh and you can definitely tell. I didn't realize they took it from the fridge off to the side because I probably would have not gotten it otherwise. The color of the lobster was a bit faded and the sauce was dried out a little. Regardless it was still enjoyable to eat. I do want to try the fresh salmon variant next time.

Luckily, there was only a short wait for our party of two at around 12pm...but I suspect the wait can be much longer later in the afternoon or during peak dinner times. Once your number is called, you go up some stairs to the eating/tabled area. There are tables and chairs for 2, 4 and more guests throughout the large space. The pace of the restaurant is very fast...as soon as you are seated, you are given tea and your waiter comes over right away to take any order you are ready to give. Its helpful to ask for a menu while you are waiting for a table so you know what to order when asked. We had some soup dumplings as well as a (large) soup. Everything was very good and out in about 15 minutes...very fast. The soup dumplings were great...but as expected are filled with piping hot broth so be careful when eating. They have some other appetizers and dishes available. There are also some drink options including cold teas, soft drinks and beer. Overall a great experience...despite visiting on a busy Saturday, we were in and out in about 40-45 minutes. Street parking can be tough in the area but there are a few garages around...one of the more reasonable options is the garage at the Skyview shops which currently charge about $6 for up to three (3) hours and is a short 5 minute walk away.

Another great pickup, another awesome packaging job…read more Driving 15 mins home and food still arrives hot and crispy. Udon noodles are delicious, rolls are crispy, xiao long bao are the best in Flushing, IMO. Ordering online from their website is best, plan to allow 30 minutes for your order to be ready. We are very familiar with the area and must have walked passed this neatly tucked away gem without ever noticing it. Our son had mentioned that he and his friends have been going to a sushi place near Asian Jewel, our former dim sum go to place. When we sat down to order, my wife and I were quite impressed by how clean and cozy the restaurant was. Kind of on the small side with a few tables on the ground floor level. The menu offered cooked food as well as fresh sushi. We decided to start with the sushi & sashimi combo. They also offered a sushi or sashimi a la carte menu where you can choose to order by the piece. I believe that if you choose one of their standard menu sushi or sashimi orders and pay with cash, the a la carte price per piece of sushi / sashimi is only $1.35 / piece! Well we were famished and in addition to the sushi & sashimi plate we ordered two rounds of sushi & sashimi a la carte. Their salmon and yellow tail was so fresh and so scrumptious as was the sweet shrimp. The tuna was also very yummy and did not disappoint! When all was said and done we were quite happy with our experience with Yoi Sushi Japanese. I highly recommend Yoi if you're anywhere near Tangram Mall or Asian Jewel and have a hankering for yummy sushi. They also offer cooked food as well as ramen bowls.

I haven't been there before the name change, so I'm not sure how it was before, but it smelled in the bathroom and the back room area where there's a TV. Maybe it smelled of mold or some odor that I wasn't fond of, so I moved to the area where you can sit without your shoes on. My friend who came a bit later said there's always an odor at the back. That's not good to hear. Service wise, they kept on bugging us. If there's such a thing as too much service where it gets burdensome, this was it. Every minute, they would come back asking if we wanted to order or if we were ready yet. Chill out and relax. Let us take a minute to ourselves. Anyways, food wise, we got a rainbow roll for the table, which was good. I ordered a sushi burrito for myself with the tuna inside. For lunch special, I got a choice of soup or salad, so I got the miso soup with it. We asked about the dessert, and they only had fried ice cream and this other fried dessert, which I wasn't fond of as I am taking fried food out of my diet. After everything, I won't be returning as there's so many Japanese spots in Queens, and it has to stand out for me to return.
