Clean poke location. Protein scoops a bit small for the price. Everything was fresh and clean will try other stuff.

Flavor - orange & prickly pear.

I rarely crave a pokè bowl, but when I do have one I look forward to the familiarly unusual experience to the taste pallet. Mr. Poke is a small but spacious, well lit hole in the wall by many other food choices. Ingredients/toppings are viewable right in front of you and the menu is super short & simple. I ordered - Spicy Samon bowl - definitely NOT spicy. Almost laughable - just a few thin slices of jalapeño that tasted almost sweet, left a miniscule zest for spice. Spice lovers be ware, spice triers, go for it! The bowl was overwhelmingly stuffed with my base (brown rice) and at first it went well with the other toppings, until it's what makes up most of your bowl. Each bite becoming more and more dry. Highly reccomend extra toppings and/or sauces, less rice, or other bases altogether. Washed it all down with an orange / pear flavor Sanpellegrino - reccomend! Price to portion ratio is within standards - especially considering inflation. I definitely had better pokè bowls and this does not discourage me to come back and try their other bowls. I will, however, be apprehensive because it isn't anything special.

Two poke bowls that we devoured

This place is amazing. Every time I come here my poke bowl tastes delectable. When i decide to eat inside the restaurant, I always notice how amazing the music is and how vast and different each song is, so they cater to a wide audience which I enjoy. We love Mr Poke and 10/10 recommend, I wish there was one closer to me!

I had low expectations but came away pretty happy with this local poke spot. There's not much to look in terms of ambiance as it's mostly a takeout spot but its clean albeit spartan in its design. In terms of food, the fish quality here was pretty good - fresher than I expected and the topping were all fresh. I did enjoy their large variety of sauces (honey wasabi was good). Price here is really affordable for poke. The staff was friendly and things were made with the quickness. All in all, not a bad choice and a welcome addition to Great Neck.

2 Protein Bowl ($14, delivery) - ok but not amazing.

I was excited to get my Poke fix on, but I was completely underwhelmed by the dishes. I customized mine with two protein for $14 (delivery). I think they missed the sauce, because it was pretty bland. The fish was fresh but not oozing the freshness that I love with sushi-grade fish. The portion was on the smaller side of poke I've gotten in the past. While I appreciate the choices, I don't necessarily plan on ordering from here again.

I really like this place! I ordered takeout but the restaurant is clean and spacious. The service was very fast and efficient. I ordered a 2 protein bowl with: - base: white rice - proteins: ahi tuna + salmon - mix-ins: cucumber, edamame, jalapeno, onion, corn, mango - toppings: kimchi, green onion - crunch: shredded nori + tempura flakes - sauces: sriracha mayo + sesame shoyu Everything tasted excellent and I'm OBSESSED with their kimchi. My one gripe is that there's soooo much rice (as you can see in my second pic) and I would've loved if there was less rice and more protein. But good quality!

Foods good service is amazing. Overall, really good place highly recommended I like it. I got a bowl with white rice two scoops of spicy tuna, kimchi, red onions, edamame, tomato, tomatoes, seaweed salad, avocado, and wasabi aïoli. In top with Nori.

Always down to try another poke bowl spot so I decided to finally check this place out for lunch! The bowl was delicious and the price for creating your own with two proteins only came out to $12 and change. I have never had the option of adding Kimchi to my bowl so when I saw that I had to try it! It was great and I wished all poke places had some too. Street parking is pretty tough but there is a parking lot right across the street for the shopping center. I do wish the sriracha aioli was spicier but all in all, this place was very good!

I'm a huge fan on Mr Poke and poke bowls! I searched on my yelp to find a poke place near me. Parking may be difficult due to limited street parking but there is parking in the lot across the street in the CVS shopping center. I always get my build your own bowl. Picking my white rice, my 2 choice of proteins and the best part is that toppings are UNLIMITED! You can go all out! There are seated tables where you can dine if you choose after ordering just as you would as take out. There are numerous dressings with also sriracha and soy sauce to go. Prices for the make your own bowl go for around 11 dollars give or take with tax. I think it's a steal for especially unlimited toppings after your choice of proteins. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you're around the area!

They are slightly cheaper than other pokè places, the toppings are diverse and I like that they've got the option to add ingredients to give the bowl some texture and crunch. We ordered the land&sea and a build a bowl which comprises of scallops and tuna. Ingredients are quality and fresh, presentation is beautiful.....but I think the portions vs pricing is a little off, my tummy was still hungry after the bowl. Flavour-wise, it lacked pizazz. Personally I think kiss fish in Forrest Hills is a better option.

    My custom salmon bowl

New poke spot in town. Pretty big space inside with enough seating. Clean, bright, nice esthetic. Menu and prices are what you'd expect from a poke place. I got a custom bowl because it seems that they don't make any substitutions for the set bowls, which is fine - I just don't like certain things, so I prefer to just make my own. The bowl itself is a little smaller than I expected and the portions are very exact - as in, little chance that you'll get more than the restaurant's suggested serving. I didn't see a sign limiting the number of toppings, so maybe it's unlimited? Unclear, but I got everything I wanted. My only real criticism is that they don't mix the sauce with the fish BEFORE putting it into the bowl with the base. Most places I've been to will mix the fish and the sauces you choose separately and then put it into the bowl and add toppings to get the most flavor. Anyway, not the best poke spot, but everything tasted good and seemed clean so I'll be back if I have the craving!

From the outside, it looked unassuming, but I was curious enough to step inside. The place is run by a nice, friendly Asian owner who immediately gave off a warm, welcoming energy. He greeted me with a smile and made me feel comfortable right away, which set the tone for the visit. The menu features seven types of ramen, covering the main classics you'd expect to find in Japan--everything from miso to shoyu, vegetarian, tonkotsu, and more. It's the kind of menu that isn't overwhelming but still offers a variety of flavors for different preferences. They have rice bowls, to self built poke-bowl, I usually go for miso ramen, so I stuck with what I know and added beef as my protein choice. When the bowl arrived, the presentation was neat and appetizing. The broth had a nice golden-brown color, with noodles sitting just beneath the surface, slices of beef layered on top, and half an egg resting alongside. The aroma was rich yet not overpowering. The first sip of the broth instantly impressed me--it wasn't overly salty or heavy, but instead had a clean, well-balanced flavor that still carried depth. One thing I appreciated was that it didn't leave that dry, salty aftertaste that makes you guzzle water afterward. It was flavorful enough that I actually drank the broth down almost entirely, which I rarely do. The beef was tender and worth the extra $1 upgrade--it added more substance to the bowl and paired nicely with the miso broth. The only part that caught me off guard was the "extra egg." I paid an additional $1 for it, but instead of getting another whole egg, I simply received the other half of the one that was already included. It made me laugh a little when I realized, and although I felt slightly embarrassed asking, I let it go. It wasn't a big deal, more of a funny moment than anything else. As for the taste overall, I'd say the miso ramen leans toward the lighter side. To some people, it might come across as a bit mild compared to richer, heavier ramen you'd get at big-name shops, but for me, it was refreshing and enjoyable. I could see myself craving it on days when I want something flavorful but not overly rich. What really stood out during the visit was the service. The owner came out a couple of times to check on me, asking how I was enjoying the ramen. He even suggested I try the tonkotsu ramen next time, which he described as creamier and more full-bodied if I wanted something richer. I appreciated his attentiveness--not just toward me, but toward all the other guests as well. He moved around the restaurant, making sure everyone was comfortable, and you could tell he genuinely cared about their experience. That kind of interaction adds a personal touch that makes small neighborhood spots like this so special. The restaurant itself has a cozy, casual vibe. It's not flashy or overly decorated, but it has a clean and simple setup that makes you feel at ease. It feels like the kind of place you could easily make a regular stop, whether you're grabbing a quick lunch, a solo dinner, or even bringing a friend for a casual meal. All in all, I had a really good experience. The food was satisfying, the atmosphere was laid-back, and the owner's hospitality made it even better. Even with the little egg mishap, I left happy and already planning my next visit. Next time, I'll definitely be trying the tonkotsu ramen, and maybe even exploring the poke options too. This is the kind of local gem I'm glad I found within walking distance of home.

Unfortunately I had to give them one less star for this rating (compared to my previous 5 star) because their bubble tea changed, not only their packaging but their quality. The cup felt flimsy, like if you squeeze too hard might pop the cover off, no big deal if the actual drink is great, then you bypass this BUT unfortunately this has to be one of the saddest bubble tea drinks I've had in a while. The drink was warm!!! Ugh, the ice was added last so therefore it melted immediately and so by the time it got to me, warm... I'm like ok I can add ice at home lol .. I had the mango and my boyfriend the peach. Both flavors were good, but both warm with ice is just not the same. We had it with tapioca bubbles and mango/peach popping boba. The popping boba was good but the tapioca pearls were SOOO HARD and a weird orange see through color so either they weren't ready or they were old! They were so hard they kept clogging our straw and couldn't sip our drink... everything about it was just a disappointment, I was so sad because I've been going there for years and I've loved their bubble tea and never had that problem!
