I came back to my go to spot. The service was great. The food was amazing and I love the vibe in this little cozy Ramen place!

Got some poke bowl goodness from here - Salmon Bowl, Rainbow Bowl, Pan Fried Gyoza, and Spicy Tuna Nachos. Food was ready on time for pick up. Looked up places on Yelp that had Poke bowls and found this place. Looks clean, service was fast and friendly. Would come back again.

Sukiya is a local poke spot that also serves ramen. It has a quiet and cozy storefront near Northern Blvd. When I arrived on a Friday night, there were no diners present but an abundance of pickup orders. We ordered the salmon poke bowl, spicy combo poke bowl with double protein, and the spicy tuna nachos. Everything took a bit long to prepare due to all the takeout orders but it was well worth the wait. The salmon bowl had good flavors and the ingredients mixed very together well. It looked like a small portion but I couldn't even finish it towards the end. The spicy combo bowl was even better and more flavorful in my opinion. It had whole chunks of salmon, which I didn't expect for a spicy bowl. The tuna was minced but it was very delicious. The extra protein was well worth it in this case. Lastly the spicy tuna nachos were also great. I was a bit disappointed by the amount of nachos for the price but it was well portioned for the amount of spicy tuna. The nachos were freshly fried and crispy. Overall, Sukiya was a hit and I would definitely come whenever I'm craving a poke bowl. I would love to try their ramens at one point too.

I absolutely love Sukiya. It's my go-to comfort spot! $14 for the amount of fish and toppings is amazing compared to other poke spots and its one of the best bowls I've ever had. The service is amazing too and they're so kind. I usually order to-go but it's also a great location.

Seen and pasted by many times and been wanting to try it forever. I had made one attempt couple of months ago but the place was small and was a bit full at the time. I am glad this time around we were able to get in and seated. So you find a seat and go to the front to place your order. The service was friendly, however it will take a bit longer. The Gyoza was nicely pan fried and not overly cooked. They were good. I really enjoyed the pork belly buns, the pork was super tender and very flavorful. For sure I would recommend. We all really enjoyed the ramen they had to offer. The broth for all was not overly salty which a lot a places are. The char sui was tender and tasted very good. Too bad they don't have the jammy egg. The poke was very fresh and was told to be very good as well. I think this is a nice little place and would for sure be back again.

To be honest when I saw this spot I mistakenly almost written them off figuring they are trying to ride on the Ramen and Poke trends in recent years that they wouldn't be able to do either of them well. I am happy to say I was wrong and have found myself coming here more often when the mood for poke strikes. That's not to say they don't do a decent bowl of ramen - they do, but usually poke and the apps are my first choice when coming here. You can build your own poke with all the different choices, but I like their preconfigured signature bowls where I choose the Rainbow Bowl. The freshly made bowls come out nicely arranged and at a perfect temperature - I usually find the ones from many other poke spots too warm which I blame on their chafing tray with sneeze guard setups - too open air for me. I like the way they make the magic happen behind the scenes here. I usually want to get more than one app because everything is so good, but I find the Tuna Nachos and the Crab Meat salad the items I keep coming back to. The drinks are uninspiring - mostly canned soda, but they have a get your own filtered water setup if you dine in, which I usually do. The space is small, but nicely decorated - I enjoy the way the dishes I presented. The setup is the great mix between fast/casual dining. The place seems family run - they are friendly and inviting. My only real knock are the strange weekend hours currently opening at 3pm. So many times I wanted to go there for lunch, but they were not open - seems like they are leaving money on the table opening so late.

Their Tuna is very soft so I really like their Tuna dishes. Besides that, the pork bao is very good. They are on Uber eats and they do promotions!

I was excited that a new place opened up so close to where I live! My friend and I got takeout from here a few weeks back. We both got the poke bowls which were surprisingly really good! We both made our own. I had the spicy salmon and salmon in mine but couldn't really differentiate between them. They might use spicy mayo to marinate the salmon, but I got the spicy mayo as my sauce choice. Will just stick with regular salmon only next time Will be back to try out the ramen and maybe some of their appetizers!

This ramen spot is not bad for the area! It's very homey in this restaurant, with simple decor and fast service. It seems like a family runs this restaurant. There are a lot of different food options, from poke to ramen to teriyaki bowls. I got the tonkotsu, which was very creamy. My boyfriend got the spicy shoyu, which was very flavorful but not very spicy at all. We thought both soups were good, but we thought combining the creaminess and the flavor might be even better, so we'll try the spicy tonkotsu next time. There is street parking outside that's metered, although you might be able to get parking around the corner as well.

First time here and at a glance this place seemed to be on the healthier angle when I browsed quick online with the salads and bowls. But after eating it I realized it was more on the Chinese fast food side. Tasted very similar with the sauce they used and the rice was just white rice you get typically. It tasted pretty good but the main reason I went here was for the healthy bowl. Can't complain though because there was a decent portion of food and flavor. But wouldn't probably come again.

I usually get the Japanese-Styled Chicken Ramen because it's the most affordable for its price value ($12.50). No tax has been added to the total. Love how it also has the most pieces of meat compared to other ramen bowls on the menu. I think the number of meat pieces has been increased for the better this time. Would say there're about 15-20 pieces in total compared to the 8-9 pieces two years ago. Got there at 8:40pm and the food hall is about to close in 20 mins. Quickly ordered, paid, waited 10 mins max in the seating area, and then received my food shortly afterwards. Staff is polite + patient + generous. Chowed everything down in 15 minutes or so. Noodles: Savory + Flavorful Bamboo Shoots: Crunchy + Fresh Half Soft Boiled Egg: Soft + Golden Chicken: Tender + Well Seasoned Seaweed: Melts on my tongue Sweet Corn: Lightly sweetened on its own. Ramen Soup/Broth: Savory without being salty. Would always go back to this particular booth for other scrumptious udon and noodle dishes along with the appetizers. Here's the quirky bit: in addition to the price of the ramen, you will be temporarily charged an extra $5 as a deposit for the bowl. I'm a fan of this because it ensures there's no plastic waste from each serving. (Mother Earth approves this message.) Other stores around the food court should totally adopt this technique. It's just more sustainable, and who doesn't want to save the planet while slurping noodles? Now, onto the ramen itself: it was decently good and satisfying. Honestly, I'm not sure how authentic this ramen would be considered, but it sure did taste pretty good. (Did it teleport me to Japan? Not really since I've never been in Japan. Did it make my taste buds do a happy dance? Absolutely.) I didn't think it was bad at all, but then again, my ramen expertise is about as deep as a kiddie pool. Here Dawan Ramen, take my 4 stars.

For our food we ordered the hako sushi, tornado omelette fried rice, trio tuna sushi roll, yakitori platter (ordered chicken gizzard and gyu harami on the side) and the A5 Wagyu cooked on the stone grill. I recommend getting the yakitori platter as it's a nice sampler but my husband especially enjoyed the chicken gizzard. My dad never had wagyu before so he especially loved the wagyu but I do think it's expensive for the amount they give you, I can see why it's pricier but just know before you order it's like $45 for 2.5 oz or in our case about 5 thin slices of wagyu. My brother said the tornado omelette was tasty and filling and he enjoyed it. The trio tuna sushi roll was very fresh. As for the service, I think everyone was pleasant but the vibes were a little off, it seems like they were just very exhausted. This doesn't affect the quality of the food or the experience but it was just something I noticed. They were still very attentive and provided great service. The reason for the one star off is because I do wish the Hako sushi had a bit more flavor, I saw so many different ingredients and fish but none of the flavors were impactful, it was rather one dimensional which was disappointing because it was presented so beautifully. Overall, I recommend giving Izakaya nana a try and I would definitely go again to try other things.

We are very familiar with the area and must have walked passed this neatly tucked away gem without ever noticing it. When we sat down to order, my wife and I were quite impressed by how clean and cozy the restaurant was. Kind of on the small side with a few tables on the ground floor level. The menu offered cooked food as well as fresh sushi. We decided to start with the sushi & sashimi combo. They also offered a sushi or sashimi a la carte menu where you can choose to order by the piece. I believe that if you choose one of their standard menu sushi or sashimi orders and pay with cash, the a la carte price per piece of sushi / sashimi is only $1.35 / piece! Well we were famished and in addition to the sushi & sashimi plate we ordered two rounds of sushi & sashimi a la carte. Their salmon and yellow tail was so fresh and so scrumptious as was the sweet shrimp. The tuna was also very yummy and did not disappoint!
