The kani salad, unfortunately, wasn't my favorite. I usually expect yum-yum sauce to already be mixed into kani salad, but it wasn't, so I ended up adding some sauce I had at home, which definitely made it better for me. The service was good. The young lady who helped me was very nice and pleasant. The restaurant itself was very clean. It's a small space with a long, narrow kind of layout, but it still works for what it is. I'd come back for the salmon fried rice, and I'd probably try a few other things on the menu.

We got the toro wasabi which I think is a nice dish that highlight the richness of toro, and it is a generous portion of this premium cut for the price. The sushi set is the one that actually amazed me the most - at $26 the quality was way above what I expected, very fresh fish and also prepared very well. The torched sushi were made to perfection. The only thing that felt a bit off is the avocado which is a bit stale and mushy but this is hardly something I can blame a sushi place. We also got the toro with caviar and uni sushi, which are always great for what they are, and at a price of $10 they are very much worthwhile. I might have been in Manhattan for too long so I know how expensive sushi can be, but I was pleasantly surprised by what I get at this place and would definitely recommend if you are around the area!
