I created my own bowl and it was so delicious! The portions are great and every thing is fresh. The service was great as well . The girl in the front was sweet and patient.

Delicious Poke bowls! I have been there twice and enjoyed their bowls. I usually build my own poke bowl. The prices went up since the last time I went. I ended up getting an extra protein for $3 more. I like their salmon, marinated tuna and eel. Service was nice and quick.

Parking in the back. Unfortunately I thought I'd give this place a try and the food was great but service was horrible. Completely empty lot. No customers inside either . Walked in and a man was in the back by the kitchen, looked me and continued his business. A Women was behind the counter just stocking and cleaning. I literally counted & stood there waiting for one of them to take my order for almost 5 minutes. Not even a hey or give me a second or be with you shortly, nothing.

Delicious bowl!! Fresh ingredients, super friendly staff, good portions and a nice seating area. Couldn't ask for more- will definitely be back!!

I been meaning to stop by here for like EVER! Before the pandemic and after! Finally got the free time to pull in here to get something! Going in, looked like it would've been a poppin place. You can dine in. But, seem like majority of people take it to go. Place is nice and clean. The options varies depending on your palette. Basically like subways but in a bowl and its sushi with lots of toppings and what nots. Definitely hits the spot if you just craving for a bowl sushi style!

I came back from the Bahamas last week craving poke bowls bc the one I had there was unbelievably good made by the Bahamians. I never had a poke bowl from Long Island before so thanks to Yelp, I decided to try Chen's Poke. I built my own poke with the same ingredients that I previously had. Rice with salmon, crab, seaweed salad, masago and avocado topped with spicy mayo sauce. It wasn't as good as the one I had but still very delicious and it definitely satisfied my poke cravings. The fish and all the other ingredients were fresh and the large poke bowl portion that came with 3 proteins of your choice was perfect. I came back here 2 days later and got the zucchini poke bowl since I wanted something lighter but didn't enjoy it as much as the first time. The zucchini noodles became soggy at the end and it did not mix well with the spicy mayo sauce liquids as well as the spicy tuna. I'm just going to stick with rice as my base from now on. The only negative aspect is that you can't order double portion of a protein or topping and it only allows you to choose one portion of each. It can get costly if you get this everyday since it cost $17 a bowl but nonetheless, this place is worth trying out and probably one of the better ones in the area.

Passed by many times and finally tried on a weekday. Quality is good for the price. We ordered tuna lover with zucchini noodles and Hawaiian style with salad. The salad may not mix with dressing well at first, but worked out after closing the lid and having fun shacking it. It's my first time trying zucchini noodles and it's surprisingly filling (it may get soggy if waiting too long, better to eat it soon). Overall pleased to have Chen's Poke nearby and will return to try other menu options.

I've been a long time patron of this place whereas I enjoy the poke bowl. I normally add a lot of extra proteins and add-ons and they are always happy to oblige.

Long Island has Poke fever! I see new restaurants popping up everywhere, the latest is Chen's Poke Bowl. It's always exciting to have a new lunch choice where I work, especially something that is healthy and what I enjoy. I'm trying to understand Chen's vision, what's with the coffee station in the dining room? Chen is also serving lattes? I don't want a latte but a cool drink other than Snapple or Soda. There are lots of Poke choices, a bowl with a rice or salad base and then your mix ins on top. I like to order the suggested bowl so I chose the Hawaiian Poke Bowl. Ok Chen, show me what ya got! My Poke is constructed with a rice base and topped with very small cuts of fish? Chen, hook a Poke brother up! The bowl was assembled nicely, it had lots of savory toppings that made it one tasty trip to the islands. The end result, I'd like to come back and try the other deelish Poke bowls. The price point wasn't took expensive. Other than the super tight parking lot, Chen's Poke Bowl will be in my lunch rotation. Aloha!

Located on Old Country rd in Mineola This place is something different! Not the typical take out places you go to like pizza, fast food, or a deli. If you like sushi this is like creating your favorite roll and enjoying it in a large sized bowl. You customize it how you want. I chose White rice Spicy tuna Crab Spicy Mayo Eel sauce Cucumber Carrots Avocado Mango Everything tasted fresh and was delicious. I highly recommend Chen's Poke bowl. I think I prefer this than sushi now! I feel you get more food this way and can really mix in all the flavors. There are tons of options for customization.

Man oh man, I'm crossing my fingers and toes that this place sticks around for a long time! The previous businesses (starbucks and Subway, etc) have all struck out, but Chen's offers fare that you won't really find too much of in the area, and for that, we need them! Not to mention it is delicious and well-decorated inside. There's even a parking lot. C'mon folks, poke and parking?! You should be lining up. I did the build your own bowl - small, and it was a filling bowl of deliciousness. I got salmon and tuna as my proteins, added mango, a couple of veggies and some crispy onions and ponzu sauce and I am a happy camper. Good value, fresh ingredients, really sweet staff... do I need to say anything else? The ordering process was seamless and I believe they also deliver through one of the apps (maybe Grubhub, maybe Seamless, maybe DoorDash?) I'll be back and bringing friends!

By far the best poke bowl I've had. Atmosphere is clean and there were plenty of toppings to choose from. I thought I could only pick a few but was told my options were unlimited. (Don't tell me that lol) I snapped my pic after taking some bites lol so it doesn't show the right portion size. Sorry. Nonetheless that just proves to you how delicious it actually was. I definitely recommend.

This place has a modest, traditional decor with customer photos on the walls, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere despite being a bit dated. The ambiance is lively and fun during hibachi dining, as skilled chefs perform entertaining cooking tricks. They offer a good variety of menu options and a noticeable sweet, friendly, attentive staff who provides fast/quick service. They keep the hibachi and dining area tidy and clean. The food portions that they serve are good enough. What I have tried on my recent visit here were wonton soup and chicken tempura roll. The soup has a nice shrimp and pork flavor in it while I the chicken tempura roll's crispness and taste was enjoyable. Food prices are affordable and fair. Good friendly service, wide-ranging food menu, delightful, delicious meals and good value are the reasons why we keep coming back to this place.

The food was well cooked and seasoned very yummy. It was a tad salty, but the sauces they give you are sweet, so it balanced everything out. This was not my first time coming here and every time I come, I always have a pleasant experience. Will be back.

Our waiter was great when we first sat down to get drinks out and to order. However, during dinner service, we had not seen him again. I think we had to flag other staff just to grab him at some point as we needed utensils and refills on water. We also wanted to order more drinks but it just took a long time to get his attention. We were a party of eight and was here to celebrate my birthday. Appetizers we tried: 1) thick cut candied bacon (it was indeed thick, and we did not have the kimchi on the side it was paired with), 2) Double cream Burrata with fig (it was okay, not memorable), 3) Wagyu Meatballs (really disappointing, temperature cook was uneven. One side was hard/tough like burnt and the other side was softer). 4) two orders of lobster bisque (a tad salty, had some lobster pieces, I would've preferred creamier). From finishing the appetizers, we had to wait an entire 55 minutes for our entrees to come out. We were told any moment, two times, but it was not. It took way too long. And at this point, we needed water refills and wanted to order wine. It was very chaotic and we could not find our waiter. Onto to dinner entrees: 1) porterhouse for two (heavily seasoned and again cooked at an inconsistent temperature). A few pieces were almost raw near the bone. 2) two orders of King Prime Rib, most of it was medium rare. But again, as we got closer to the inside and near the fatty sections, it was too rare/raw even. 3) Queen Prime Rib was ok. More medium than medium rare. 4) Filet mignon, which is supposed to be the most tender, it was not. It was over cooked and the meat was dry and grainy. Very disappointed. I do not recommend this at all. Onto desserts: we opted for some cappuccino and just two desserts: two affogato's and an almond cake with citrus. It was fine, but not memorable. We spent almost $900 including tip but it was literally the most disappointing steakhouse experience I've had ever. I do not recommend. It's fine for a night out for drinks but not for the steak.

The food came in a see t amount of time and I thought overall the quality was just slightly above average (for the kitchen items ) the sushi wasn't anything exceptional compared to other Long Island ayce locations. We ordered only one round of sashimi and speciality rolls and a bunch of kitchen items for my kids. Our main server never really came to check with us so we pretty much gave additional orders to the staff collecting our plates. No dessert on the menu unfortunately .
