The food is yummy. I went on a weekday. It was $35 pp. the food is delicious but the service was eh considering there wasn't a lot of people there. It was kind of slow unless that was intentional between courses. What rubbed me the wrong way was that I asked for another seltzer and the waiter said that it would be additional charge... AYCE sushi but I have to pay for refills. Weird to me. It's carbonated water. I didn't know restaurants still did that but whatever. Really good food though.

I hate that I have to give one less star because the hostess and what I can only assume was the manager were so disrespectful when we were waiting to be seated. I came here on a Friday night with two friends at about 6:45 PM and the wait was about 15 minutes. They do not take reservations for parties under 5. My one friend had put her name down and gotten a number and right around the 15 minute mark, the hostess said a table was ready but called the number after us and sat the people waiting behind us first. My friend went up and said very loudly that we were there first and the hostess and manager both looked at and heard my friend but did not apologize or even acknowledge her. It was so disrespectful as a business to not even acknowledge or remedy it and left such a bad taste that my friend will likely never come back and it is sad because the food and table service were excellent. We got seated and immediately, the waitress wanted our order. We had to turn her away and just get us water first. Once we were ready, we ordered calamari (1 ring pp), money bags which are crab and cream cheese (1 bag pp), edamame, kani salad, sushi pizza (so good!!), sashimi and a bunch of rolls. We ordered two rounds and the appetizers and sashimi always came out very quickly. The rolls always ended up taking a lot longer so order those as quickly as you can. My favorite roll was the out of control roll. The fish was extremely fresh and we loved that the sushi rolls were rolled with a thin layer of rice!

All you can eat sushi is such a good deal. Defintiely come with a group so you can try a little taste of everything. The service was extremely fast considering the amount of food we ordered. They were slow to bring a few things out though, and waited last minute to bring some orders we wanted out when we thought they had forgotten about them. So if you order something, just remind them don't order again. We were a big party and the staff was a little pushy with how long we were using the table for. The money bags (crab ragoons) were sooo good! They have a big menu with lots of variety.

Asian all-you+can-eateria located in blue collar western Long Island near Queens border. While nothing was notable, same can be said that nothing was terrible. Sashimi and sushi were buffet quality passable, the cooked dishes were also acceptable. Good choice if you just want to eat some grub nearby, cone-heads style, massive quantities with a two hour window. Ideal for post-softball game, leg day at the gym, bowling night, or anywhere you take Barney Rubble; date night with your Boo, not so much.

If you love sushi I do highly recommend this location as they offer all you can eat sushi for 2 hrs as well as other small plates. I think the prices are very reasonable as well. I believe it's 40 dollars per person and you can choose as much from the menu. It'll probably be cheaper than ordering separately. Just make sure you finish your plates. So order as you go. Drinks are great and have a good selection of cocktails. I would honestly recommend this place for a date night or even large groups. It does get pretty busy but they do move fast. Service is quick and maybe not the friendliest but good enough. If you're doing all you can eat menu and another person is not you may not share your plate, and some how they know. I do recommend all the food I love their sushi pizza always a must get as well as their dancing dragon sushi roll. We also like their crab salad and their chicken fried rice. I find this being my go to spot for a sushi date and great for an inexpensive dinner. Their fried ice cream was so delicious!

Excellent place service is fantastic especially the owner Peter along with his wife. The waiters and waitresses are really good and go out of their way to make you feel at home and make you happy.

Came in for a quick dinner while in the area with my brother. I was impressed how busy it was and how clean it was. The employees are friendly. You have the option for AYCE and a la carte! We didn't have the time for AYCE and we also didn't know about it but we went a la carte. The service is fast and they have a huge menu. The mango Kani salad was sooo good and a huge portion! I got the dinner combo c and the fish was incredibly fresh. My brother ordered some rolls and sushi and loved it. It was nice in here and I wish we could've done the ayce menu. It's huge and definitely worth the money compared to a la carte. And like I said, the fish is fresh, which is a must at an ayce spot!

Just had dinner there tonight with a friend. We were seated immediately and were quick to be greeted. The place was busy for a Monday night! We ordered bang bang chicken and chicken pad Thai. For sushi we got the Fantastic roll, Nova roll, Tiger Roll and the Signature roll. Very tasty food and we ordered just enough without feeling like we needed to be wheeled out. Website needs to be updated because it says $28.99 but we were charged $33.99. Might return with more people. *Photo credit to fellow Yelper Noelle P

Located in the heart of Garden City, the Rose Room is easily accessible and offers ample parking. Like so many years past, my colleagues and I are always on the hunt for that special place and experience that will elevate our holiday dinner outing. I was so pleased that The Rose Room was selected. As mentioned, the elegance and ambiance of the restaurant are pitch-perfect. The hostess, wait staff, and management all delivered top-notch service. The food was spectacular. I especially enjoyed the bacon maple stripe. My colleagues and I devoured them in seconds. I can't say enough good things about The Rose Room. That said, I am looking forward to my next visit. I would recommend adding The Rose Room to this holiday's restaurant rotation.

It's as described by others... if you're staying on site, it's worth checking out but I wouldn't make a special trip for it. We were starving and glad to see some apps on the menu, however, nothing super appealing after you've had a few drinks. We got the shrimp cocktail (3 pieces) and a small charcuterie board. Together this was over $50 before tip and overpriced. I think options are limited because they don't have a kitchen nearby.

They have a QR code menu and a paper menu. Both do not show every drink available so don't be afraid to ask your server for a drink you have in mind. I started with a mojito which was light and refreshing. I then switched to a spicy margarita which is why I now understand why Yelpers love it so much. Perfectly spicy around the rim and it forces you to sip your drink. Prices are expensive ($19 is the average price per cocktail). The staff is a bit all over the place and we worked with 3 different serves to get our drinks. It gets packed but there is still plenty of room to spread out.

They used to have a big menu with really good food, but now they seem to be gearing more toward a lounge vibe. I think they should keep the restaurant atmosphere earlier in the night and transition into more of a lounge around 11 PM. I definitely miss the fried rice. Now the menu is mostly bar food like wings, sliders, and similar items. Don't get me wrong the sliders were banging, but I really want the full menu back. Honestly, I feel like they already had the same good vibe before, even with the larger menu, so now it feels like the same atmosphere but with fewer food options. They do have hookah, which is a plus for me, and the prices are reasonable. So if you're looking for a nice chill spot with good music, drinks, and hookah, this is definitely a good place to check out. But if you're specifically looking for Guyanese food, those days seem to be over. Overall, I still recommend this spot for the vibes alone.

I made a reservation on December 4th, 2025 for three for a birthday celebration on December 7th,…read more2025 at 6:30 PM for my mother's aide. Since this is literally the only Guyanese restaurant we could find on Long Island--and we drove 35 minutes from Suffolk--we expected a special evening. The reviews online and on TikTok made it seem worth the trip. When I made the reservation, I spoke with who I assume was the owner or manager and specifically explained that we were bringing an 84-year-old and were concerned about loud music, being that the restaurant had photos of it being a "dance club atmosphere". I was hesitant to make the reservation, but when I was called, and spoke to either the owner or a manager, I was assured the music would be kept at "dinner volume" and wouldn't be an issue, and that it only gets loud after 9:30 PM. I said, " are you sure?"...I was told yes, I was even told they would bring out a slice of cake with sparklers--easy, no problem. So we arrive at 6:30, and the second we walk in, the music is BLASTING--completely inappropriate for a dinner service at that hour and absolutely impossible for an elderly person to tolerate. Even I found it painfully loud, and I'm in my early 40s. I couldn't even hear myself speak to the hostess. I had to significantly raise my voice just so she could hear me speak. We asked the hostess if the volume could be lowered, and she said she'd have to get the manager. The manager comes over, and after I explained exactly what I had been told when booking, he couldn't have cared less. No attempt to fix the issue, no solution, just total indifference with a "Yeah...sorry". Because of that, we had to turn around and drag a feeble 84-year-old with a rollator back out to walk two blocks in the cold to and scramble to find another restaurant last-minute. Completely unacceptable and embarrassing. I wanted to eat here. I would have happily come back, supported the business, even ordered takeout when passing through Baldwin in the future. But after being misled and treated like our concerns didn't matter, I'd rather drive into Queens for Guyanese food than deal with mess that again. Do better.
