This restaurant officially opened on June 30, 2026, under new ownership. It replaced the former Ha Long Bay / Pho Island at 1200 Jericho Turnpike. The new team completely expanded the venue into two storefronts, significantly upgrade in the atmosphere. This place is presently known and adored for their signature Pho Noodle Soups and Bánh Mì sandwiches, the foods were properly spiced, the dishes were bursting with authentic flavors. Other notable menu additions include their rich Bò Kho (Vietnamese oxtail stew) and Shaken Beef. Some costumers have singled out the Vietnamese coffee. It is widely reviewed as "the real deal"--exceptionally strong, bold, and perfectly prepared. Unlike small minimalist noodle shops, this location operates as a full restaurant and bar. They serve classic and signature cocktails alongside a variety of bubble teas. The new expansion is a major selling point. Diners mention that the expanded double-storefront layout makes the space look much larger, cleaner, and more comfortable for groups. It features modern aesthetic touches, including a dedicated wine display, making it suitable for casual lunches or extended dinner dates. Customer service is consistently described as highly attentive, welcoming, and friendly. The team running the restaurant previously operated the well-liked BIA Vietnamese Restaurant in Floral Park. Local regulars from their previous spot have noted that the high standards of hospitality carried over to this new venue.

We visited Phở Hanoi on a recent rainy Saturday. Pho Hanoi is the successor to Ha Long Bay, but is a larger space because Pho Hanoi expanded to encompass Ha Long Bay's former neighbor. The added space makes the restaurant more comfortable. Despite the connotations of its name, Pho Hanoi seems to serve Southern Vietnamese cuisine. Food: - Grilled Chicken Sandwich (Banh Mi Ga): $9.75; $10.59 with tax. Good. The chicken had a good lemongrass flavor to it, though the daikon and carrot slaw in the sandwich could have been more tart. We were puzzled by the side of slaw, which was relatively flavorless. - Beef Rib Pho: $16, with Beef Tendon, $2.50; $20.10 with tax. Could have been better. The broth leaned on the sweet side. Everything should have been cooked longer. The noodles were hard, and the meat on the ribs were tough, the beef tendon was hard. Other: There is 3% card surcharge. There are two well-maintained restrooms. The operating hours of the restaurant need an update. On the day of our visit, the official opening time was 12 PM, not 11:30 AM as posted on Google and Yelp. However, there were no posted hours at the restaurant itself.

    Chicken Wings w.ginger, garlic & honey dressing. (10pcs/$18 or 5/$10) Excellent!! (5/5)

I'd also add that the pork chop didn't taste the freshest.

Located in the heart of Garden City, the Rose Room is easily accessible and offers ample parking. Like so many years past, my colleagues and I are always on the hunt for that special place and experience that will elevate our holiday dinner outing. I was so pleased that The Rose Room was selected. As mentioned, the elegance and ambiance of the restaurant are pitch-perfect. The hostess, wait staff, and management all delivered top-notch service. The food was spectacular. I especially enjoyed the bacon maple stripe. My colleagues and I devoured them in seconds. I can't say enough good things about The Rose Room. That said, I am looking forward to my next visit. I would recommend adding The Rose Room to this holiday's restaurant rotation.

It's as described by others... if you're staying on site, it's worth checking out but I wouldn't make a special trip for it. We were starving and glad to see some apps on the menu, however, nothing super appealing after you've had a few drinks. We got the shrimp cocktail (3 pieces) and a small charcuterie board. Together this was over $50 before tip and overpriced. I think options are limited because they don't have a kitchen nearby.

Definitely going to come back to partayyyyy! :) But tonight was all about the dining area to have some yummy dinner, as you see in one of the videos. Our waiter Catherine was super attentive and gave great recommendations. For starters, it was the stuffed mushrooms (which was stuffed w/ shrimp & crabmeat topped w/ a butter garlic lemon sauce) and the shrimp cocktail (only 4 pieces). Drink order: *SMORES MARTINI- WHIPPED CREAM VODKA, CRÉME DE CACAO, IRISH CREAM & A TOASTED MARSHMALLOW *FALL SANGRIA- RED WINE, GRAND MARINER APPLE CIDER, FRESH ORANGE, SODA For dinner a shareable Chicken Parmesan ala Vodka and a french onion soup. If I knew I would have ordered a martini from the happy hour menu. I ordered a few espresso martinis which wasn't under the $10 martini happy hour deal. It was a very good espresso martini. I also ordered a few appetizers, again I wasn't aware of the happy hour on weekends so the chicken parm sliders were $10 for happy hour, the meatballs weren't. Both appetizers were very good. I wasn't looking for a whole meal as I was going to a show at UBS and knew I couldn't bring leftovers to the arena, so I will get back soon to try more. The seats at the bar are very comfortable, but they are low seats so it may take a couple of drinks to make it feel like you don't need a booster seat. They're open late night as well which is great.

Normally, I don't start a review on a negative but after we left and counting up all the missteps, I felt off. My wife is more forgiving, she liked the Frito Misto and Bolognese. It's hard to believe this was a BBQ spot a few years ago. The glass garage door is still in place, back in the day it was enjoyable during the spring. There's a reason why it's called Sparrow Cocktails. I ordered the Smoked Old Fashioned. Made with Angel's Envy Bourbon and wood smoked chips, this was a great cocktail before dinner. The Frito Misto had a delicate coating, it wasn't overly battered. The green dipping sauce served on the side was bland. It didn't add to the dish and was thin. The Malfalde Bolognese was a hearty portion, we were able to share this large dish between the two of us. Made with beef, veal and pork and simmered in San Marzono tomatoes, this entree satisfies all my pasta cravings. I was looking for some grated cheese, none was offered.. The Back Sea Bass special, IMHO we should have passed. My wife asked about bones and was told they de-bone the fish table side. What was served to us was a fish that was cooked well but was full of small pin bones. We passed on dessert, it was time to go. an expensive meal that doesn't warrant a return visit.

Overall, we found many of the dishes to be overly salty and oily. I ordered the rib sandwich and was disappointed because it wasn't what I expected. I anticipated an actual rib sandwich, but it appeared to be more like shredded beef and didn't have the flavor or texture of ribs. My son ordered the stuff Nutella French Toast and ended up sending them back. The eggs he was served were also quite salty. My daughter did not enjoy her burger, which was unusually thick and difficult to eat as prepared. My wife finished her meal, but she did not find it particularly enjoyable and felt the portion size was too small for the price. I think part of the issue may have been the limited Father's Day brunch menu. Had there been more options available, we might have found dishes that better suited our tastes. Additionally, dessert was not included in the package, which was somewhat disappointing. While the atmosphere and service were definite positives, the food did not meet our expectations. Based on this experience, I'm not sure if I would return.

Reservations are highly recommended. A lot of my mom friends rave about this place and I got to dine here twice with them, once for brunch and the other for dinner. The first time I came here was with my child for brunch. I got a mocktail and we ordered chicken and waffles along the unadvertised kids menu containing chicken fingers and fries. Portions for both dishes were generous and took home the leftovers. We also shared the Brussels sprouts and the infamois complimentary bread, which were really good. The second and most recent time we went was for dinner with the a huge group of moms. We shared the Caesar salad, Brussels sprouts, and general two's cauliflower, which was amazing. I had the red sangria and a taste of the Huckleberry lemonade, drinks were strong. For the entrees I ordered the salmon and once again portion was huge, took it home and the hubby ate the leftovers. Other moms ordered the frose, spicy paloma, le poulet and spicy Rigatoni. At the end we had key lime pie which tasted great but I was too full to finish it. I'll be coming to this spot more often because of great company and food!
