Great food, came here several times and never had a single issue except today, the young girl attending was extremely rude even with our child, she was rushing us and continued to ask over and over if that was all even before she scooped each ingredient we just asked for, her deamenor was nasty and looks like she didn't want to attend us. She had no time to allow us to order what we want yet She had plenty of time to stop and check her apple watch messages making us wait for her to hand us our food and then all the time in world to chat with her friend instead of attending customers. Fast-casual sushi bowls in an affluent area severely lacking in sushi I kind of like poke bowls. It's a lazy-man sushi, where you get to control what you get. With whole foods no longer doing sushi made to order, that leaves only main gugh, sakura garden, and tisumi sushi as driving distance sushi places. Not anymore, poke don is now in the area and they are pretty good! The setup is similar to their manchester location. you got a sparse dining area and a cafeteria style long desk to do your ordering. you pay for your bowl, and the person follows you along to help you design and make your bowl. The panels behind the station tell you what you can add at that station, and the server will follow you along the entire way, adding whatever you want to your bowl. By the end, you got a rice bowl with all the flavors you could want and then some. I usually opt for salmon and tuna, with sushi rice, edamame, onions, crispy onions, crispy garlic, a scoop of kani salad, a scoop of spicy crab, and a drizzle of eel sauce over everything. I sometimes mix up the veggies or the sauces, but that's my base. The rice is cooked well, sometimes they don't season the rice well enough, but it still comes out okay. the portions are fairly big, especially if you ask for extra veggies. the spicy sauces have a little zing to them, but not really hot. The price is actually pretty good too. for the price of a specialty sushi roll, you get a big bowl of sushi with all the same flavors. It's not amazing quality, they do stumble on their flavors sometimes. but it's pretty good for pretty cheap, and sometimes you just want a lot of something that's pretty good. read more

Awesome poke from friendly staff in clean, cheerful place. I love poke. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE Poke Don. Always the freshest ingredients in excellent portions for a fair price. I always get the tuna and salmon and it is a heaping spoonful. The fish is always tasty, comparable to that at top sushi restaurants. I get all the non-fruit mixing and all the toppings. It is delicious. The do not nickel and dime you for some toppings like masago and avocado like the place across the street. I like that. I like this restaurant. I am here a couple of times a week and it never disappoints. Best poke and best bubble tea in the area by far. read more

Nice spot! I ordered a two meat combo with my preferred meat of salmon. I was able to choose any topping to put in my bowl and the server was very generous. I ordered a salad bowl but due to the large amount I just got the fixings with some spicy mayo. Great and clean spot. I would go back again to try other selections on their menu. read more

I am sorry to give it two stars but I have to because I ordered a build your own bowl from this young man who was extremely off putting in his disposition, eg he seemed like he hated being there, didn't have much to say, smile, or engage you at all. Some people have bad dats but he's pretty much often in this sour mood. Anyway I was there to pick up a gluten free meal and asked for a build your own bowl and with each topping I would ask / confirm it was gluten free, and he said yes to each item. Unfortunately one of the items was not gluten free - the seaweed salad topping. When my sister went in to buy me the same build your own she was served by a young lady who thankfully warned her about the seaweed salad topping not being gluten free. We looked it up and she was right. My sister was very grateful and thanked her. We do like the ladies who work here, they are personable and the food is great. It's clean and the parking is easy breezy. I hope this review is seen as positive for all of the things minus the experience with him and a misinterpretation of the food being gluten free - just one item, when it really wasn't. read more

Very nice choice of make your own poke bowls, I had been here many times and the Poke has always been consistent. I always make my own Poke with two proteins, the staff is very friendly and patient. The place is just the right size to accommodate a handful of patrons and is always clean. Tuna and Salmon are my favorites, top them off with some nuts and avocados and they poke tastes amazing. Spicy wasabi sauce and the garlic sauce add more flavor. Also tried some of their boba tea, I felt it was too sweet but that's just me. This place is not visible from the street, if you are near Sweet Frog Yogurt in Glastonbury this one is right next to them in the corner. I highly recommend this place, I keep going there whenever I am in the area. read more

Currently my favorite poke spot. I should really gatekeep, but I appreciate that you pay first which means you get to choose as many toppings as you want afterwards. The interior is very spacious and inviting with a nice area for dining. Entirety of the restaurant was spotless- one of the cleanest places I've been! Poke Don has the best poke bowls I've ever had, hands down. I love how easy it is to place an order for pickup on their website and it's always ready right when they say it will be. They are very generous with the amount of fish and other toppings they give and I also love that they give the option to do a half lettuce, half rice base too. I usually get a three protein bowl with tuna, salmon and shrimp loaded with toppings and it's always fresh and delicious. I usually go with the spicy mayo but I recently tried the wasabi aioli and it's my new favorite. The service is excellent and their space is clean and inviting. Best value poke you will ever find. If you go in person, it is one set price for unlimited toppings, and they have the best quality fish of any poke place I've ever seen, near and far. This place is truly unbeatable. Sometimes, the staff can be inconsistent with topping amounts they give, but I believe it is because they have hired a lot of new people recently. It's amazing to finally have a Poké place in Glastonbury. I've been coming here for quite a while now for Poké and I love it during Lunch time. It's one of my favorite places to go for lunch It's quick and easy to get me through the day to fill my stomach before dinner hours later. Here you can build your own with two or three proteins I usually go for two proteins and I go for the white sushi rice and then I go on to put in favorites of mine with varieties of tuna and salmon, edamame, carrots and corn,sweet teriyaki sauce with some spicy kani and topped with some crunches of mine which contains Wonton Crisps and occasionally some shredded nori and furikake flakes. Usually when I go here I love to have my favorite Taro Bubble Milk Tea as a refreshing drink to have with my Poké bowl for lunch. Taro Milk Tea has a sweet taste and usually you can ask for the boba and tapioca in the drink. The staff is absolutely amazing and polite. Usually they will give you a card with stamps when you order there and after completing the card you will get a free Poké usually. read more

It's an okay place to get Poke. Finally we have a poke place in glastonbury and it's alright. Downsides are that they give you a lot of rice and are sparse on the toppings such as avocado etc. However, the fish and everything else are fresh and tasty. The biggest downside is the boba tea I don't recommend. It's extremely overpriced, made with powders, not real tea. The tapioca also was not that good, very tasteless and clumpy. read more
