Nice spot! I ordered a two meat combo with my preferred meat of salmon. I was able to choose any topping to put in my bowl and the server was very generous. I ordered a salad bowl but due to the large amount I just got the fixings with some spicy mayo. Great and clean spot. I would go back again to try other selections on their menu.

Awesome poke from friendly staff in clean, cheerful place. I love poke. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE Poke Don. Always the freshest ingredients in excellent portions for a fair price. I always get the tuna and salmon and it is a heaping spoonful. The fish is always tasty, comparable to that at top sushi restaurants. I get all the non-fruit mixing and all the toppings. It is delicious. The do not nickel and dime you for some toppings like masago and avocado like the place across the street. I like that. I like this restaurant. I am here a couple of times a week and it never disappoints. Best poke and best bubble tea in the area by far.

I really enjoyed my meal here. I got a two protein bowl with double chicken and both Teriyaki and Miso sauce and tons of toppings. It was great, and very tasty. The miso soup I got on the side was also very tasty. I would recommend PokeDon for anyone who is interested in a poke bowl in Glastonbury and are not happy with the selections at the nearby Pokeworks.

This is the second location of Poke Don to open up in the area... and it's a fantastic addition to the Glastonbury quick serve scene! The interior is very spacious and inviting with a nice area for dining. Entirety of the restaurant was spotless- one of the cleanest places I've been! The toppings are extremely fresh and there are a good variety of options to choose from. And the staff are very friendly and efficient.

Poke Don has the best poke bowls I've ever had, hands down. I love how easy it is to place an order for pickup on their website and it's always ready right when they say it will be. They are very generous with the amount of fish and other toppings they give and I also love that they give the option to do a half lettuce, half rice base too. I usually get a three protein bowl with tuna, salmon and shrimp loaded with toppings and it's always fresh and delicious. I usually go with the spicy mayo but I recently tried the wasabi aioli and it's my new favorite. The service is excellent and their space is clean and inviting. I highly recommend Poke Don for your next poke fix!

Best value poke you will ever find. If you go in person, it is one set price for unlimited toppings, and they have the best quality fish of any poke place I've ever seen, near and far. This place is truly unbeatable. Sometimes, the staff can be inconsistent with topping amounts they give, but I believe it is because they have hired a lot of new people recently. Love this poke, and we get it literally all the time.

I simply cannot imagine ordering anything other than their Curry Ramen bowl from this point forward. Like one would legitimately be insane not to get it, provided you are an average fan of standard Thai-style curries like Red, Panang, or even Las Vegas style Three-color (Red+Green+Yellow). My suggested mod: Ask for your home-crafted noodles a little extra "QQ" or chewy al dente. And ask for a side of their home-made chili oil to step up the Szechuan influence. Normally I shun the fusion or "new-style" menu items, but this Curry Ramen bowl is stuff of dreams. Perfectly executed, temperature hot, unforgettably umami, and the exact drinkable curry broth viscosity that is no accident. This bowl is a champion, folks!

It had a lively energy without feeling chaotic. I ordered the beef ramen and added shrimp, and everything came out in under 10 minutes. The broth had a really nice depth of flavor with a mild kick; not overpowering, just enough warmth. The beef was tender, the shrimp addition was worth it, and the portion size was generous. The space itself is clean and modern. I appreciated being able to see the kitchen area and the bar setup; everything looked organized and well run. The booth seating was comfortable, and overall it felt like a great spot for a casual lunch or relaxed dinner. Definitely a place I'd come back to.

They used to have "simply prepared" on the menu that was just the fish, with seasonings and complementary sides. That's gone from the menu. It was always perfectly prepared and complimentary to whatever fish you were having. Last night, that changed for me. I have noticed over my last few visits a change in the restaurant. At first, I thought it was just my tastes changing, but last night proved me wrong. I had the "North Atlantic Swordfish Saltimbooca". The description was "Proccuitto, mozzaella cheese, sage mascarpone, white polenta". Polenta is usually soft, with the fish on top. This was polenta soup, with the fish literally swimming in it. In addition, it was greasy. There was a lot of oil around the side. And on top of that, the mozzarella formed a rather nasty hard cheese coating on the fish that I removed to the side with my fork. It was one of the most unappetizing things I've had in a long time. The swordfish was completely lost; no flavor at all. After a few bites, I gave up on it. I also noticed that drinks have gotten smaller. I ordered a martini. It used to be quite generous (it is a $16 drink after all). The glass last night was much smaller, at the same price. The wine was good, but that was about it. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I should have gone with the Fish and Chips! Hard to mess that up.

Choices were limited to 'small and large plates', there was no appetizer section. We were asked "sparkling bottled ($$) or tap water?". We chose tap. Server brought an old-style quart-size milk bottle and small juice-size glasses. The water had no ice, so I assumed water was cold, it wasn't. I ordered a 'breakfast' stout, my wife coffee. Stout was served in a wine glass, not a traditional pint glass. Wife said coffee wasn't that hot. When they brought our beverages, wife asked for a napkin since none were on the table. Like most civilized countries, I like to put a napkin in my lap when I sit down in a restaurant. Apparently you need to ask for one here. Young server muttered something about place settings are brought when food is delivered. I guess an ale and coffee aren't napkin worthy. Not sure what they accomplish with this goofy policy. It looks more like some kind of cost cutting measure. We made reservations a week earlier, wanted us to confirm a second time through text the same morning. It led me to think this must be a popular place with people clamouring to get in. Once there, place wasn't bust at all, no waiting customers and a sea of unoccupied tables. Our guest arrived after we ordered our beverages. After a few minutes, I ended up flagging down a server to get her a drink. Another sign we were stuck with a 2nd or 3rd-string staff. Our aunt ordered a specialty drink from their menu; "champagne in a laundry basket", (looked more like laundry water in a wash tub). After taking our orders, paper menus were collected to be reused. Maybe they were saving money on copy paper. I kinda' wish she left one in case we wanted desserts or something later. They were keeping the table clear of literally everything. I ordered a humus plate for use as an appetizer, something to share and couldn't be screwed up while waiting for our main course. When entrees showed up, we all chose 'smoked sausage eggs-benedict', extra servers were in tow with plates, napkins and silverware, napkin place settings given after all plates were on the table. My wife was seated across from me, sitting next to her Aunt Nan. The first plate was placed in front of me. Even being the neanderthal caveman I am, I knew this was the most basic etiquette faux pas (I felt humiliated j/k). Ladies are ALWAYS served first, another red flag from an inexperienced staff. The 'smoked sausage' Eggs Benedict failed on many levels. It wasn't hot, poached eggs were both over and under-cooked- egg whites had chunky white snot, yolks were not runny. The 'smoked sausage', was kielbasa logs cut in half lengthwise, they were overcooked and impossible to cut without flattening and mutilating egg and muffin. They could be used as wheel chocks, I had to deconstruct it so sausage could be wrestled with on the side. Wife said the 'homemade' English muffin had the tap water taste like what we were served 'for free'. I couldn't help but envision a garden hose filling a mop bucket used for filling the milk bottles. The Hollandaise sauce lacked silky richness and flavor, I've had better with McCormick packets. Benedict was overpowered with the taste of the smoked sausage. This meal was our aunt's special treat for our birthdays. They did not finish their meals, leaving mostly the pieces of the hockey puck-hard sausage. Server had been touting the pastry chef for the home-made English muffins. They were not any better than Thomas's English muffins. I am a plate-cleaner by habit, I've even been called human garbage disposal, so I managed to clear this one, (except for the egg snot, it would've taken a straw to finish it). My wife always has leftovers I happily dispose of quietly, not this time, gave it a hard pass. I felt unfulfilled, I was food frustrated, so I ordered some bacon cheese scones and shared them with the table. They turned out to be the best thing we had, warm Bisquick quality with a good taste of bacon and cheese almost as addicting as Red Lobster cheddar biscuits. We consumed them like a pack of hungry wolves. I asked and was told they don't serve them with butter. These begged for butter. IMO, butter should already be on the table. My wife picked this venue for our birthday treat meal with our beloved Aunt Nan from MA treating us. I apologized to her for our disappointing choice. She said she was glad I said it, she didn't want to say anything to make us feel bad. With tip, the bill for 3 was $171.00. We could have had a better meal and service at an IHOP for a quarter of the cost, I know I would have felt more satisfied. This experience made onto my list of top 5 worst eating experiences.

While many enjoy the entertaining hibachi chefs and diverse menu, some customer reviews mention inconsistent service and food quality, though the atmosphere is generally described as fun and vibrant, with happy hour available daily. This place is packed! Music seems authentic. They quickly seated us and served ice water. For my first drink, I'm having the Classic Manhattan made with Woodland Reserve bourbon, sweet vermouth, Angostura bitters and a brandied cherry. I like the garnish! This is balanced perfectly. I would prefer a large ice cube but not here. I like it! For my appetizer, I'm trying h the Spicy Edamame. Edamame is a popular East Asian dish of immature soybeans in the pod, typically boiled or steamed and served with salt, though it's also enjoyed in many other preparations like spicy garlic, roasted with parmesan, or added to salads and stir-fries. To prepare, the pods are cooked briefly and then seasoned, often with garlic, ginger, soy sauce, or chili, and can be served in the pod (popping beans out) or shelled. These are cooked perfectly! They are sliced more than you would expect! For my soup, I'm trying the Mushroom Soup. This is chicken broth with mushrooms and scallions. It's more well known as Hibachi soup. Hibachi soup, or Japanese clear soup, is a light, savory broth served as a starter in steakhouses. It is made by simmering chicken and beef broth with caramelized onions, carrots, garlic, ginger, and mushrooms for at least an hour. Key garnishes include fresh mushrooms, green onions, and fried onions. It's warm and tasty. The mushrooms are cut real thin. I am also getting the seaweed salad. Seaweed salad (wakame) is a nutritious, savory-sweet Japanese side dish featuring rehydrated wakame seaweed, toasted sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame seeds. Often served in sushi restaurants, it is high in vitamins K and C, calcium, and magnesium. It is best served chilled and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. This is good! I live this study! I'm also having the Green Garden Salad made with fresh lettuce, heirloom tomatoes and cucumbers "drenched" (well, no) on their "famous" ginger dressing. That is a LOT of dressing! Huge portion too! This is great! For another appetizer, I'm having the Sashimi Jalapeño which is jalapeño peppers over two pieces each of salmon, tuna and yellowtail finished with wasabi mayo. This is real easy to eat! Thanks for the extra jalapeños! For my next item, I'm having the Salmon Roe (Ikura). Red caviar, or salmon roe, is a popular delicacy of bright red-orange fish eggs known for their large size, juicy "pop," and mild, slightly salty flavor, making them a favorite for both caviar connoisseurs and beginners. Harvested from salmon, particularly from the Pacific, it's rich in omega-3s and used in dishes like sushi, on blinis, or as a garnish. Yummy! This is a taste of the ocean! For my next drink, I'm having the All Fashioned made with Bulleit Rye, lemon juice, simple syrup, All Dram Spice and Orange Bitters. This is well balanced and tastes great! I love the three Amarena cherry garnish! For my next item. I'm having the Spicy Salmon Roll made with chopped salmon, spicy mayo and crunch. This is tasty! Wow! For my entree, I'm having the [riceless] Pink Lady Roll made with spicy scallops, avocado, yellowtail, jalapeno and sriracha sauce. This is greats Nice and spicy! Melts in your mouth! For my last drink, I'm having the Jamaican Coffee made with Tia Maria and fresh brewed coffee. This is good! I added a little cream which is rare for me. For dessert, we are having the Tempura Ice Cream (green tea) and Vanilla Crepe Cake made with eleven harmonized layers of delicate, house-made crepes lightly frosted by a subtly flavored, lightly sweetened, velvety whipped cream stacked over a sponge-like base. These are good! The Crepe Cake is very light. What a great meal here!

No exaggeration, it was over 30 minutes before we had drinks in front of us. The food itself was pretty good. I had the barbacoa tacos, she had a burger.
