Decided to give it a try and see how things turned out. Inside is clean and decorated well. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We told them we were doing the all you can eat, and got our ordering menu. Interestingly, they included boba tea as an option on the all you can eat menu. so we got drinks to try. They were a little sweet but tasty. We ordered a smattering of bites, with the idea that the plates would be tiny and we could try a bunch. The portions were smaller, but still very massive. There was many times we would take bites and it would look like nothing was eaten. You need to make sure you order light when picking your choices. The bites were seasoned well, tasty, and plentiful. The highlights being the garlic shrimp and the pepper tuna tataki. The sushi rice is seasoned correctly, and the fish was fresh. The taste of the rolls was a little bland, but soy and the wasabi aoli helped out. They do have the stipulation of food waste costing more, so the mass amounts of food did give us pause. The server assured us that there would not be any charges as they figure out how to portion. But it did limit our ordering. For the price, the quality is actually pretty good. It's pricy for the area, but you're not going to go hungry. If you get a chance to try them, they are a great option for a meal. It's not worthy of a trek, but versus other restaurants of that style you would be hard pressed to find better.

Sodas are from a can and were not cold lol. The tables and booths are comfortable if you are not tall. It became a fun game of who's feet are going in which direction around the large pedestal base. Highlights are the hot & sour soup, boneless pork ribs which were succulent and tasty, Kani Salad, signature rolls were also enjoyable with a great and generous rice to filling ratio. Some things to improve are the wait times for the sushi. We've been there twice and each time thw dining area is relatively empty but it still took 35-45 minutes to get any rolls. Although it's AYCE, the sashimi and nigiri options are a la cart $1 a piece. The same checklist sheet was used, and a couple of the items were not erased between courses leading to double service. Maybe a smaller checklist that's used once or an electronic selection option from the table to the kitchen either via app or web form could solve this issue. It had no flavor and the shrimp was chewy. I also found a piece of the shell they had not removed. The rice was also a little old. Would not recommend coming if you want good sushi.

The texture was good & it was sweet, but it wasn't until the last bite that I figured out what was off. The last piece had a larger piece of eel in it, where the rest was primarily Avocado which dulled it out. It was attractive, but the ingredients were not distributed evenly. With whole foods no longer doing sushi made to order, that leaves only main gugh, sakura garden, and tisumi sushi as driving distance sushi places. Not anymore, poke don is now in the area and they are pretty good! The setup is similar to their manchester location. you got a sparse dining area and a cafeteria style long desk to do your ordering. you pay for your bowl, and the person follows you along to help you design and make your bowl. The panels behind the station tell you what you can add at that station, and the server will follow you along the entire way, adding whatever you want to your bowl. By the end, you got a rice bowl with all the flavors you could want and then some. I usually opt for salmon and tuna, with sushi rice, edamame, onions, crispy onions, crispy garlic, a scoop of kani salad, a scoop of spicy crab, and a drizzle of eel sauce over everything. I sometimes mix up the veggies or the sauces, but that's my base. The rice is cooked well, sometimes they don't season the rice well enough, but it still comes out okay. the portions are fairly big, especially if you ask for extra veggies. the spicy sauces have a little zing to them, but not really hot. The price is actually pretty good too. for the price of a specialty sushi roll, you get a big bowl of sushi with all the same flavors.
