Me at pokesushi lovin the meal i got!
Barbara V.

This restaurant is in a food court that is practically non-existent due to CoVid. Three years ago, there were at least fifteen great restaurants open 11 to 3 daily. Now only two remain. OMG. Pokesushi is so delicious. They persevered. Yea! The crew is friendly and answers any questions with no 'tude. Try it! Prices ok too. The menu has many fresh choices. They want you to get creative to get exactly what you want. I am bringing my good buddy there asap.

Bowls and sushi are super fresh and I live that they have the AHA brand seltzer. I order online and it's super quick and easy.

Great options. Didn't realize it was in state building but easy access from $2 parking garage downtown.

We were going to the factory outlets in Lee, MA. I am not a fan of food courts, but were a bit…read moreshort on time as well. As were driving through the main road, we saw this Burmese place right there. "Burmese, in this area?" I thought. It was really good. The owner of the place was very friendly. "How big is the Burmese population in this area?" I asked. He just smiled. "Must be razor thin" I thought to myself. That made me think even more favorably of the place. "I love Tom Yum soup, but being at a Burmese place, we want to have Burmese" I told him. He said there is a Burmese twist to the Thai dishes and did recommend it. There was that twist. We loved their tea leaf salad. My wife's Thai sounding Chicken Noodle dish had Cauliflower in it. I thought that was unique in a nice way. A good place to try, especially for people outside the area. (As in, be surprised that there are Burmese places in this area)

We ordered the tea salad to start and then the Tom yum noodle soup. We ate every little bit of that salad and sipped every last drop of that soup. The salad was exquisite, the best we've had so far! The soup was comforting and filling. We wanted a light tasty dinner and this was exactly right. Wish we lived closer!

Great service, great ramen, overall great experience…read more Attempted to come to this place a few times before. Eash time, there was a significant wait so we tried someplace else. This time, we made a small trek during a slow time and managed to get quick seating. Inside is nice but a small location, about 20 tables and even with the off time most of them were filled. We sat and immediately were brought waters and dishes. The team is designed to be a brigade, with everyone participating in the service. This led to very quick service and easy access to a server. We got two ramens and a dumplings to share. The food took a couple minutes but we quickly had dumplings and soup and we took our pics and dug in. The dumplings were freshly made, loose but flavorful filling with a pool of sauce on the bottom for dipping. The wrapper was delightfully thin and the garnishes added little pops of texture and flavor which changed the flavor profile of the filling. Those were very good dumplings I got a truffle shoyu ramen. The noodles were freshly made, springy and a little chewy but a great sauce vessel. the toppings were plentiful, the shoyu pork wasn't the most tender but the pieces were nicely charred and sauces to be distinct in the dish. The broth started off as straight seafood broth, lots of briny umami but little depth. Once I mixed the truffle scoop in, the flavor really bloomed. Now the broth had an earthy, mellow base note which made the broth a surf and turf umami bomb. It was very tasty, and the best ramen I've had in ct. Price is not bad, $55 for two bowls, add on wontons for the missus's soup and the appetizer. For the quality, the price is really good for what you get. It's easy to understand why this place is as busy as it gets. It's a great ramen shop and worth the trek to try. Delicious ramen done well and fast.

Came here for lunch on a weekend and the place was moderately busy, but plenty of open tables…read more Ambiance felt like a modern Japanese spot. Staff seated us quickly and were solid with service - orders were taken fast and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Menu had a good selection of ramen and poke, what seems like their specialty, and we both got ramen. The broth was fine and taste was decent, nothing amazing but a solid spot for ramen in Connecticut. It satisfied the craving for sure! I wouldn't mind coming back if in the area again, but would probably stick to ramen just for comfort.
