The spicy tuna and shrimp were good. They were fresh and had good flavor. The toppings were all fresh, including the avocado. It was a great bowl to eat in one sitting. Nothing left over. Perfect sized lunch. It was staffed by two teenagers. I explained that I had never been there before. They were typical teenagers, mopey and impatient, but competent. It's a basic little deli type storefront with a handful of tables. It was clean and bright. I would definitely stop here again when in Enfield.

The poke here is not the best I have ever had, but it is good and definitely satisfies the craving. They also always seem to have some type of promotion, which is a nice bonus. Lots of them are small local shops that stumble when they start but eventually figure out their flavors and do well enough. This shop is a franchise spot, so it's a little bit more established when it comes to its flavors. So now there's no need to guess, just follow the plan and put in the time. Going inside, this place is very much a modern vibe place. Similar to an açaí bowl place on the other side of the plaza, it's got major beach vibes, fake greenery with led neon on the walls, funky local beach vibes art on the walls, nothing I haven't seen before. The server I believe is either very passionate or was the franchise owner. Very personable and willing to explain everything I had questions on. I got a bowl and a musubi, which the bowl was prepped as I went. Took some quick picks then headed to the car. The sushi rice is seasoned, the wasabi aoli is actually very spicy and packs a serious punch. The fish is fresh and the veggies add much more than just texture. The pickled veggies are sweet and tangy, the seaweed is dressed, everything gives some unique flavor. The "musubi", which is a kind of sushi and spam sandwich, was salty and meaty. Nori was toasted and the sandwich was good but missing contrast. Needed a strong sear or some crunchy element like a pickle, beet, or radish. Would also be great if it was made to order rather than prepped in advance. Portion was good for the price, quality is there, and the staff was friendly and helpful. If you never had a poke bowl, this is a great place to try one. It's also one of the few poke bowl places in the area, and they do it well. The trouble with established brands though is there's no way to fix or suggest things. All the flavors are strong and present, but can easily overpower each other. I would love to see the musubi done on demand even if it costs more. A brûlée torch can do quite a bit if used correctly. Thinking seared pepper tuna, seared salmon, crispy spam, or even toasted rice or warmed pineapple. Lots of options, just not much room to tweak. Out of all the dining locations in that plaza, this is one of the lighter options that still offered a good quality product at a fair price point. With whole foods no longer doing sushi made to order, that leaves only main gugh, sakura garden, and tisumi sushi as driving distance sushi places. Not anymore, poke don is now in the area and they are pretty good! The setup is similar to their manchester location. you got a sparse dining area and a cafeteria style long desk to do your ordering. you pay for your bowl, and the person follows you along to help you design and make your bowl. The panels behind the station tell you what you can add at that station, and the server will follow you along the entire way, adding whatever you want to your bowl. By the end, you got a rice bowl with all the flavors you could want and then some. I usually opt for salmon and tuna, with sushi rice, edamame, onions, crispy onions, crispy garlic, a scoop of kani salad, a scoop of spicy crab, and a drizzle of eel sauce over everything. I sometimes mix up the veggies or the sauces, but that's my base. The rice is cooked well, sometimes they don't season the rice well enough, but it still comes out okay. the portions are fairly big, especially if you ask for extra veggies. the spicy sauces have a little zing to them, but not really hot. The price is actually pretty good too. for the price of a specialty sushi roll, you get a big bowl of sushi with all the same flavors. It's not amazing quality, they do stumble on their flavors sometimes. but it's pretty good for pretty cheap, and sometimes you just want a lot of something that's pretty good.

The Build-Your-Own orders hold up the line. The price was too bad for a poke bowl, under $20. On other Parkville visits, I've gotten boba tea from this stall as they share it with the Okinawa Boba Co. I love the Ube Milk Tea. If I'm in a poke bowl mood at Parkville Market, I'll try another bowl and/or have them go light on the sauce.
