    Joy classic bowl
    Sandra B.

Absolutely recommend this restaurant. (It's like the subway of poke) I got the Joy Classic Bowl. Comes on a bed of rice with generous portions of ahi tuna and salmon. The bowls are large portions and very filling. I'll definitely be back to try another bowl

I really really wanted to like this place.... I'm a huge Sushi and poke Bowl fan. When I walked into the place it was completely empty and there was a boy on his phone He felt irritated because he had to get up to make my bowl he asked me and I answered three times that I wanted white rice.. he didn't even ask me if I wanted to go or eat in. I did want to eat in. Once I started to eat the bowl the fish had a weird taste to it like it was just too fishy if you know what I mean I ended up not eating more half of it. Also the trash can is right in front of where the employee was sitting and another employee was there and neither of them even said goodbye to me thank you for the business or is everything okay because literally I threw out half a poke Bowl. I had a couple other errands to do in the area and I started not feeling good I ended up puking because I started getting sweaty and just very nauseous it definitely made me sick there was something wrong with the fish I most likely will never come back to this place.

So much magic in here that it wouldn't all fit in this caption.

What a beautiful little gift of a gem this place is! And their first week opening?! Lots of restaurants flounder at first... these guys soared. Inside it is SPOTLESS, the staff was extremely nice, and the food... holy god the food. So many options to choose from, all equally as fresh and flavorful as the next. You cannot beat the price for the amount of add-in options they've got. Something for everyone! Enfield is full of pizza, Chinese, and tons of bland American chains when it comes to food. This is such a refreshing breath of delicious air! Cannot wait to go back and get a different combination every time.

Such an awesome Poke bowl location! I was really impressed by the quality and quantity of the bowl. Obviously it is totally up to you how you fill it but if you know what you what you want and if you are ok with understanding that $12-$15 after tax is what you would normally expect to pay, totally worth it. They have all of the options that you could hope for, I always get raw fish and I could tell that it was fresh. I usually get half salad and half rice just to be sure that I get my fill. I probably could have done just all salad because of how much stuff I was able to add. They note that you can get up to ten add-ins, keep in mind that if you want and if it works out as it did for me that you can just get multiple of the same add-in. I did so for at least one of the ingredients. The friend I was with didn't seem to think that the other person serving him was as generous though. So this may be an individualistic experience. I'm sure we both still got more than enough for a dinner. For proteins I can certainly recommend the Tuna, Salmon, and the Spicy Crab mix (not really that spicy for me anyways).

Been so curious about this place since they opened, so glad we finally tried it! Walked in, we were greeted and the ordering process explained when we mentioned we'd never been. Pick your rice, proteins, mix ins and sauce! Haven't tried raw tuna since a bad experience years ago but the owner was great and let us try a bite-- happy to report that this was much better than expected and I'd def get it-- clean, fresh taste! Happy to have a healthy takeout option! We'll def come back often.

Love love love! As other reviewers have stated, this place is top notch! The inside is a very modern, but casual space and it's very clean. I am a huge fun of the build your own bowl. It's basically a great way to get a deconstructed sushi roll. This was the first time trying any Poke Bowl and it was amazing! The staff is super friendly and will make suggestions if you're looking to try something new. What a fantastic place, definitely make this your next stop!

SO YUM! This a build your own 2 scoop bowl. Tuna and Wasabi Yuzu for the WIN! :)

OMG! This has been MONTH's of anticipation! We discovered Joy Bowl in Springfield earlier this year and as transplants from CA, were thrilled to find a poke place!! How even more excited were we when we were driving past Stop & Shop in Enfield and we saw signs for Joy Bowl in ENFIELD! As much as we love the Springfield location, making the 30-40 minute each way drive was tough! Now we can go to Joy Bowl in Enfield MONTHLY! SO EXCITED for today's grand opening! Okay - location aside, the food here is just amazing! Fresh and healthy - the seafood is top quality and tastes amazing. I personally am a fan of the build your own bowl - and they are so wonderful with the variety of toppings and the portion size - all are TOP NOTCH! My favorite sauce is the Wasabi Yuzu (like a spicy ponzu sauce) but that is only 1 of MANY different sauces as well. You can build the base of your bowl with white or brown rice or lettuce (or a mix of both!). The toppings are numerous - my favorites being edamame, red onions, corn, cucumbers, seaweed salad, tomatoes, tobiko, avocado - and that's not even all of them! They have a variety of raw and cooked fish - so there is something for EVERYONE! Now that this is just around the corner, we will be adding this into our WEEKLY rotation :) YAY - Thank you for opening this wonderful restaurant in Enfield!

It's been a few days after I had my poke bowl and I'm still thinking about it.. The topping choices were plentiful and the sauces/dressing included basic salad essentials such as balsamic and ranch. There was something for everyone! There were also cooked protein options for those who do not prefer raw fish (shrimp, chicken, spicy crab, etc).

Poke bowl with tuna and spicy tuna. Seaweeds salad, Edamame, avocado, mango, corn, and white rice based.

Visiting Enfield and found this place for light lunch. Clean place and Reasonable price for a poke bowl. Will come back again in my next visit.

Poke salad bowl with chicken and poke rice bowl with spicy tuna. Yum!!

Wow! Absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh food here!! We are vacationing in CT and stopped in for a poke bowl, our first time trying poke and Joy Bowl did not disappoint! You can pick from a variety of bowls or create your own by choosing a bowl with a rice or a salad base, picking a protein or two or three, then picking from a plethora of mixins and you have the choice of topping it off with a few different crunchy options such as sesame seeds or tempura flakes and lastly, there are a slew of dressings to choose from. Staff was friendly and helpful and the bowls were out of this world yummy! I got a salad bowl with chicken (if you're not into raw fish the chicken is a great option), mango, pineapple, carrots shreds, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, avocado, tempura flakes and balsamic dressing. My husband got a rice bowl with spicy tuna, cucumber, cabbage, mango and pineapple. Both were fantastic! I mixed mine up a little before I took this photo but it was also very aesthetically pleasing. Highly recommend for a light but delicious lunch option!!

Dude is stingy as hell with the protein. Always end up needing to upgrade to 2 or 3 protein option.

When we walked in, there wasn't anyone at the front, just a counter and a small table with T-shirts for sale. The kitchen is in the back, and the dining area is off to the left. A friendly waitress came out right away and told us to sit wherever we'd like. The dining room is small, but cozy; about 10 tables. There's also bar-style seating at sushi counter with about 5 chairs. Two sushi chefs were working and chatting with customers. Everyone was super nice, and the vibe was great; hip-hop, R&B, and reggaeton playing in the background. Right up my alley lol. Our waitress was very sweet, attentive, and gave us great recommendations. I ordered the Caribbean roll, and it was phenomenal! Definitely one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. It had a sweet plantain on top and was packed with flavor. I also got a vegetable roll, which was just okay. The place had a chill mix of customers: a family, & some older couples. Overall, great service, good music, and amazing specialty rolls. It's also BYOB (wine and beer only) which is nice. I'll definitely be back to try the ramen next time!

"bubbles through the ice" (Phish)…read more You may have a hard time finding Cuckoo's Hawaiian Shave Ice. It's not a brick and mortar store, its more like a mini three-wheeled food truck parked in the rear lot of "It's Playtime" - an indoor kids' playground and playscape. We saw zero signs directing us to its location -we just kind of knew about it from a Facebook post. Cuckoo's is owned by It's Playtime and is open more or less the same hours they are (roughly from 9-5). Because the cart sometimes goes off premises to an event, it's worth your while to call before you scoot over. Cups of shaved ice are sold in 2 sizes for $4 or $5. There had a ton of flavors including Blue Vanilla, Grape, Lime, Mango, Cherry,Tigers Blood, Pickled Mango, Lemon, Blue Raspberry, Banana, Sour Apple, Blueberry, Cotton Candy, Pina Colada, Cola, Pink Lemonade, Guava Passion Fruit,Li Hing Mango, Strawberry, Passion Orange Guava, Blue Bubblegum, and Cake Batter. You can trick out your shaved ice with a Snow Cap (for an extra creamy sweet texture), or Fairy Dust (glitter), or candies for half a buck or so more. No review of Cuckoo's would be complete without a glowing report on the young lady running the stand. Isabelle was delightfully charming, informative, helpful, and as sweet as the shaved ice she served up. We ordered a snow-capped small banana and a snow-capped small blue vanilla They totaled $10.21. As our temperatures hit the 70's and 80's, why not check out Cuckoos to cool off?
